This studio is the reason that I truly fell in love with Anime. I've seen several anime before, but never knew what it was called, or where it came from. Once I learned the name "Anime", I did what anyone would do...search it up! Loads of photos popped up, and only one caught my eye. Ayu from Kanon The detail in that one single screenshot blew my mind, I had to find more like it! I was so glad that there was! It was like Kyoto Animation was my gateway into the anime world. R.I.P to everyone who has passed away from this tragedy.
Clannad was the last Key VN they adapted, even then the eyes were actually smaller than in the VN. But while the eyes in Key visual novels remained huge, the huge eyes period has passed in most light novels and mangas KyoAni adapted after 2008. With K-On, the studio found a working moe template and they've been sticking to it and improving it to this day, with the exceptions of the pure parody, Nichijou, and light, cute Kobayashi's Maid Dragon.
I think they mastered their contemporary visual style with Hibike Euphonium. Seriously good looking show. Clannad After Story or Haruhi season 2 was probably where they mastered the old early 2000s giant eye look.
No matter what, I believe that KyoAni will come back more stronger. I believe they can... Rest in peace to the 33 people who died. If being isekai'd is true (which we know is just a meme), I hope they will to their favourites...

If the anime your watching has amazing animation and has that signature "KyoAni Artsyle" it is most likely made by them. Animes like Hyouka, Sound Euphonium, Kobayashi, Phantom World, Nichijou, Beyond the Boundary, are some well animated animes. And speaking of Beautiful animations, their upcoming anime VIOLET EVERGARDEN. DAMN THE ANIMATION IS TOP NOTCH

Honestly this might be one of the worst years of my life. Earlier this year my grandmother passed away and I got into a rough situation two months ago. I watched a lot of Kyoani's stuff during that time because most of their anime put me in a very positive mood. And then this happens. Most of the people involved in making the shows I enjoyed are now deceased. And even worse, their families are now going through mourning and grief because of their horrible deaths.
Every time i see kyoani i can't help but to cry. This is... the most devastating news for japan right now... I wishes for those soul to be able to rest in peace. There work are absolutely will be remember forever.

KyoAni is my favorite studio off all! The first anime I watched from them is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, I've been watching their works since then. The anime that I haven't watch are Mull metal series and free

Ugh when the beyond the boundary opening played my heart friggin stopped. When I was in fourth grade, I remember being so frustrated at everything. Nothing was sticking. I was a mess. I was about to chuck my phone, but then I saw a video on beyond the boundary. I completely forgot all about that hard time I was going through and I googled up and watched the entire series and the movie. It healed me. I usually don't like rewatching series, but I will definitely make exeptions so I can experience what I felt during the show all over again. Thank you for these shows and more KyoAni. I wish the victim's families the best. May you have justice.

Has anyone here seen KyoAni's Violet Evergarden? If you haven’t, then let me just say that it will take your breath away by how stunning the art style is, the smooth animation, the amount of detail, the amount of frames and the amount of effort that has been put into it.

Eu também não assisti muito deles, então foi legal fazer o vídeo pra eu mesmo descobrir os animes, mas me surpreendi como eles tem MUITOS animes moe/slice of life xD. KyoAni é realmente um dos melhores estúdios, por diversos motivos (é meu preferido). Ele é realmente especializado em animes Slice of Life, creio que seja por causa da influência de Yamada Naoko (diretora em vários dos animes SoL). A animação é extraordinária; muitas vezes eles terminam de animar tudo antes do anime estrear.
Bem que eu suspeitei isso de eles as vezes terminarem de animar tudo antes de estrear quando notei que a primeira abertura de Nichijou tem umas cenas de uns episódios bem posteriores. The effort they put into making all these series can never be denied. My heart aches so much that I cannot bear it. I pray for all the ones who lost their lives and dreams in the attack. Stay strong, the world loves you KyoAni.
Has anyone here seen KyoAni's Violet Evergarden? If you haven’t, then let me just say that it will take your breath away by how stunning the art style is, the smooth animation, the amount of detail, the amount of frames and the amount of effort that has been put into it.

Kyoto Animation is my most favorite studio. They’re recovering as of today, thank goodness.

Eu falei sobre a KyoAni, mas na realidade assisti bem pouco deles ainda, apenas 3 séries. É que comecei a me interessar pelo trabalho do estúdio recentemente (sou fã de slice of life e animes mais leves, humanos, sensíveis) e tô adorando o que tô assistindo. E vendo esse vídeo percebi que gosto de praticamente todas as aberturas dele, tanto em questão de animação quanto música.

vini64 Foi teu comentário que me inspirou mesmo, eu já tinha tido antigamente a ideia de fazer um video assim pra cada estúdio, quando tu comentou da KyoAni resolvi botar a mão na massa mesmo hehe. Eu também não assisti muito deles, então foi legal fazer o vídeo pra eu mesmo descobrir os animes, mas me surpreendi como eles tem MUITOS animes moe/slice of life xD. Não costumo assistir muito esse estilo, mas a animação realmente é incrível, alguns me chamaram a atenção.

KyoAni é realmente um dos melhores estúdios, por diversos motivos (é meu preferido). Ele é realmente especializado em animes Slice of Life, creio que seja por causa da influência de Yamada Naoko (diretora em vários dos animes SoL). A animação é extraordinária; muitas vezes eles terminam de animar tudo antes do anime estrear.
Bem que eu suspeitei isso de eles as vezes terminarem de animar tudo antes de estrear quando notei que a primeira abertura de Nichijou tem umas cenas de uns episódios bem posteriores.
