Thanks! One of the biggest battles we fought was reducing Zoom calls. Since my team is using tl;dv to record our meetings and make them async accessible, we've reduced our meeting time by more than 20% throughout the team.
Thank you this is amazing and extremely useful!
such a valuable ideas that shared by Professor Tsedal

Zoom is one of tools that enabling us to work remotely. A question: About remotely leadership. How do we managing our team effectively without our physical presence and how should we influence them rather than dictating? Thank you
weekly/daily standups are a great way to connect with people spreaded around the world, and you can assign to them "task cards". You can have around the table too, but I would recommend not to stretch it to hours long meetings. Don't be afraid to use technology, voting systems ( like polly ) and shared files/directories or project management or note taking tools.
In addition, use check in with them but not just for work - a 10 min check to ask how things are going with their health, families etc helps your staff realise that you care about them and not just the work and helps spur them on to get work done. It also helps to build trust as well especially when you do more one on ones. Also create coaching opportunities with your staff as they will need it more when you are not together physically.
Just an FYI you can also use videos as a virtual background. :)
That's true!

Restyaboard is a brilliant tool for managing work remotely. This tool allows us to assign tasks, track progress, and communicate with team members.
Great insights! Please allow us to share these videos to our leaders through our internal LMS. Thank you!
