I didn't know Joe Bonsall was suffering from ALS. I was saddened when he announced at the beginning of the year that he was retiring while the Oakridge Boys were in the middle of their farewell tour because he was battling a neurological disorder that left him with the inability to walk. Now he has joined the original members of the group when they were known as the Oakridge Quartet. R.I.P Joe

The death of Benji Gregory was so tragic, falling asleep in a car when the temperature was in the triple digits. @@jeffhodge7272it may be that the reports you read were earlier ones that didn't yet have that detail. What I can see from doing a search just now, some 7 hours after your comment, shows that many prominent news outlets do presently mention that tragic detail. Here in Texas, we hear every summer of automotive deaths in the blistering heat, yet they continue to occur. So terribly preventable and sad.

Another group of fine people that will be missed by a lot of us. So sad, but I am thankful that you take the time to inform us with the very well done uploads, thank you !
Loved Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theater. Shelley was so talented sad to hear of her passing.
The little boy from Alf...aww, man. 😫
Judy, John's wife, Benji and Shelley Duvall... I'm just hearing about Shelley. Oh wow. Rest in love my people.
I love this lady’s voice. She’s perfect for this.
Shelley Duvall was a great actress in her prime, in Popeye, 3 Women, and no one forgets The Shining. God rest her soul. She had a unique style, a character that matches the comic book hero type, or a Robert Altman genre type, but diversified herself when she starred in The Shinning.
Thank you for the respectful treatment of Senator Inhofe. Many of the mainstream media were disrespectful and offensive.🤔😊👍
@kb8939 Amen. 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Especially Fox News and supporters of a convicted felon. This country is in a State of Emergency. We must pray. 🙏🏼🇺🇸
@@RockinDaBoombox You mean convicted felon Hunter Biden, who was actually convicted of a real crime, and is now in a position of power in the White House! I still do not know the felony that President Trump was charged with, although the prosecution turned misdemeanors into felonies.🤔
There were reasons why he wasn't treated "respectively."
@@gogreen7794 Is this Joe Biden not understanding the meaning of words again? 🤔
@@gogreen7794never a reason to treat anyone disrespectfully just because you don’t agree with their politics.
Aren’t the liberals supposed to be the party of love and acceptance. What a bunch of hypocrites
Great job! Audio sounds GREAT!! You guys do such quality work.
I was shocked about hearing the news of Shelley Duvall.
Same
Are noooo ❤
@@bighand1530 I am so sad.
@@Hopz47 I feel the same
You’re not the only one.
Dang, Benji Gregory? That hurts. Shelly Duvall really hurts too.
Yes it does. Benji was only a year older than me
@@corybeaver1909 He was the same age as me (46). I didn't think we'd lose any of the Tanner kids so soon. Very sad news not to mention the way he died.
Shelly died of Diabetes. So many actors have had this, including Tom Hanks. I'm not an actor, but I too have Diabetes and know what a pain it can be. The Libre 2 is great and less painful!
He was 1 month older than me. Benji was born in May 1978.
@@1977TA he fell asleep in his car while the ambient temperature was in the triple digits
Thank you for these videos. I did not know several people that passed away recently because they never made it on the news or in my news feed or on youtube. I am saddened to see but thankful that you were able to share information and to let us know.
U guys are absolutely brillant even though u missed michael landons memorial last week im still heartbroken after all these years rip michael landon❤❤
I saw your post the other day, so glad to put a face to the voice. Thank you for all you and legacy do.
Joe Bonsall?😥 I recognized him immediately. Oak Ridge Boys.
The great Charlie Daniels died four years ago this week (July 6, 2020) at the age of 83. Also this past Monday (July 8) would have been Toby Keith's 63rd birthday. These men were more than just entertainers. They were true American Patriots
I am very sad about Shelly DuVall. Such a lovely actress. May she rest in peace.
Oh my God! Why was Doug Sheehan's death not publicized? Met him once at a soccer game the GH cast did at West Covina HS. He was the sweetest man ever!! He will be missed! 😢😢
I really appreciate your channel, thank you.
To the 4 service members that have passed Thank you for your service & to all the others RIP
Really appreciate the INTRODUCTION TO YOUR FACES 😂 it's great to put a face to the voice 😂Thank you!

I love Legacy-been following them for years - it’s like a short history lesson for everyone. Some celebrities I haven’t seen in years and remember them from growing up. Many thanks!
I didn't know Joe Bonsall was suffering from ALS. I was saddened when he announced at the beginning of the year that he was retiring while the Oakridge Boys were in the middle of their farewell tour because he was battling a neurological disorder that left him with the inability to walk. One of the songs he sang lead on was El Vira. I was 2 years old when it was released & I remember dancing around in the living room the first time I heard it. Now he has joined the original members of the group when they were known as the Oakridge Quartet. R.I.P Joe
Bob Newhart Pass away 94 ,Lou Dobbs also Pass away age 78 Dr.Ruth 96 Richard Simmons 76,
TY for your beautiful tributes & half-staff memorials. May they all RIP. Lifting prayers & condolences for their loved ones. God Bless You & stay safe.
RIP Shelly. Thanks for the films.
Love your “ behind the scenes “ video!
Your channel is stunning!

May they all Rest In Peace 😢
Thank you Legacy again for the respectful reporting of the passing of of celebrities we enjoyed & many others that we didn't know but lived good lives just the same.
Shelley - BREWSTER McCLOUD... glad she's getting mentions in POPEYE - that's about perfect of casting as possible.
Loved Joe Egan and Steelers Wheel. Two more excellent songs he penned with Raferty are "Star" and "Everyone's Agreed that Everything Will Turn Out Fine".😢
I was so sad to learn that Shelley Duvall passed. I loved her movies and she was so quirky. Its hard to believe its been 30 years since Dick Sargent passed. I remember meeting him and Early Holliman at a political event. The years go by so fast. Condolences to the families of those who passed.
@@elizabethchase6528 I know. She was very good in Popeye and 3 Women too.
Thank you for your service to both your country and your state Jim! You will be missed!
This is too sad, to lose your child, my heart hurts for the family!

❤️ R.I.P ❤️
Wow, what a week this has been so many celebrities and well known figures passed away. RIP Bob Newhart, Lou Dobbs, Joe Bryant, Shannen Doherty, Richard Simmons, Ruth Westheimer, and Jacoby Jones.
Charlie Murphy was one of my favorite comedians. One of my cats is named after him.
R.I.P. to all.
To have your life end just as you were ready to start it is really tragic. I loved watching Alf. He was the opitome of obnoxious aliens.
Shelly was a true talent.
She was phenomenally great
in "The Shining".
And again, thank you Iegacy, for another dignified obituary.
It's sad to view it, but it's very informative.
Thank you !
The death of Benji Gregory was so tragic, falling asleep in a car when the temperature was in the triple digits. For all of you out there, PLEASE check on vulnerable family members and friends during this extreme heat wave. Heat related deaths and injuries claim more lives then floods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.
@@jeffhodge7272it may be that the reports you read were earlier ones that didn't yet have that detail. As mentioned in the narration, Legacy doesn't report causes of death if they aren't already announced, so it's possible that at the time they were preparing the video that information wasn't yet official. What I can see from doing a search just now, some 7 hours after your comment, shows that many prominent news outlets do presently mention that tragic detail.
Here in Texas, we hear every summer of automotive deaths in the blistering heat, yet they continue to occur. So terribly preventable and sad.
@tejaswoman I live in Az.I know all about the heat and cars, pool drownings,etc...😞
I didn't hear it on the news here or anything.🤷♂️ 🤔
I just skimmed the story in The Arizona Republic on line.He had his "service dog" with him too.😪
Apparently he had issues.🫤
@stevengolden9009 He was in his car. With his dog.
The heat in Az.has been gross too.🥵
Joe engle didn't fly the shuttle enterprise into space, the enterprise was a test vehicle and piggybacked on a 747, detached and glided into landing, the enterprise never went to space. However the statement might be better said joe engle was the first to command 2 space capable winged craft
Actor James B. Sikking has died at the age of 90 please mention him in next week's video thank you
So shocked about Doug Sheehan 😢
Congratulations to the team who have put this amazing Legacy together, a job well done. ❤ condolences to the families of those who passed away and remembering those from other years. ❤. RIP
Your Rip Torn memorial has a blooper.. you have his death listed as 1919 and his birth as 1932.
🙏💕 They all rest in blissful, eternal peace 🙏💕
THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING TEAM LEGACY
Condolences To All Family Member's 🌹
8:10 child actor AND served during war. I wouldn’t be surprised if the poor guy had PTSD. Just realizing so many men and women my age died in war in the early 2000s. I don’t want older generations to keep claiming we didn’t live through the same Bs they did. We still have war, lack of equal rights, lack of basic human rights, and other injustices. We were going the right direction, but hateful people keep pushing us backwards since 2016 making it worse for all.
Shelly Duvall will be missed. She was great in the shining. Lots of legends are ending up on legacy. Time keeps going. May they all rest in peace 🙏🏽 ❤❤
