He said his dad and grandpa both died in their early 50s.
He was concerned that that would happen to him too because he was coming up on that age.
So he changed his lifestyle so he could live past his dad and grandpa and he did it.
All of us girls had a crush on him he will be missed.
Rest In Peace Chuck 💐 😔

I was first introduced to Chuck Woolery as the host of Scrabble & Lingo a little later but I didn't know that he was the original host of Wheel of Fortune until a few years ago when I watched Pat Sajak's very first episode of the show on RUclips & he gave a shout out to Chuck. As a matter of fact I think WOF is the only active game show to have aired consecutive seasons without a break since it's debut nearly 50 years ago. All the others such as The Price Is Right, Jeopardy & Family Feud were later revived with different hosts and/or under different formats. R.I.P Chuck Woolery. I know you'll be joining with all the greats such as Bob Barker, Richard Dawson, Gene Rayburn, Monty Hall & Alex Trebek on that Golden Stage

OMG !! Barbara Taylor Bradford has also passed . She was a favorite author of mine !! Some of her books were made into Television Miniseries particularly “ AWoman of Substance “ based on a series of her Novels . She was such a Classy Gracious Woman . Gee I’ll sure miss her . Loved her style of Writing Fiction Historic Romance Novels . 😢❤

I was watching Giant the other day when Earl Holliman’s death was mentioned and I was shocked to find out he was married to a man . He kept that secret. Anyway he was a good actor and made some great movies, Rest in peace.

Remember Chuck Woolley as the Original Host of “ Wheel of Fortune “ when it was on in the daytime only before Pat Sajak took over . Chuck’s CoHostess was Susan Stafford before Vanna White . Rememering Earl Holliman from Police Woman with Angie Dickinson . 1974-1978. Rip To both

There is so much more to say about Earl Holliman. He was in countless Westerns with John Wayne and others. One of the most recognized actors ever, Holliman is right up there with Gene Hackman and Tommy Lee Jones.
