Awesome, keep em coming! I work on my rental trailers snd tenants are always busting holes in the sheetrock.
Love this technique for patching holes. Would work great on any small hole, if you bevel the outside edge of it. California patches on ceilings sometimes droop, but I think this would stay in place if you mix your mud thick enough.

Yep, caused by malnutrition. This is how a lot of kids ( and adults) get high blood lead levels , even poisoning. The lack of nourishment makes them more prone to eat crazy stuff, and if it contains lead the body will take it in as a substitute for calcium.
Starches and carbonates
I've never heard of them eating drywall, I have heard of them eating clay though. They even sell in some stores in SC., don't know if stores sell it in other states or not.

My 2 dogs ate through my Moble home walls and you can see the installation it's bad my wires our showing and my switch is hanging down where you turn the light on its horrible
Heres a question, I have smoke detectors in ceiling 7 of them in my mobile home. I want to yank these out and fill the holes for new lighting, it also is popcorn ceiling. I was thinking fill the holes with the fiberglass wall fix for holes in wall , can this be done if so great! But I also have to give texture of popcorn ceiling back in the ceiling, How?I have ideas just not sure if it will work. Thank you Nancy Staggs a new subscriber.
Use metal mesh drywall repair sheets, you can get like 10 on Amazon for like $15. Use compound to make smooth, Then use a can of popcorn spray, and spray to texture, then paint.

How big are the holes from the smoke detectors? They're usually just held on with brackets with a few screws.
@@Bapuji42 the holes are usually as big as a junction box (roughly 3"x4" if they're hard wired with battery back up. The one's your talking about are just battery.
@@Chris.Rhodes Fair enough, but won't the new lights need holes / jboxes? Seems premature to fill and patch the smoke detector holes just to cut new ones for a light fixture.
Not to mention that patching over a junction box isn't up to code.
What’s if it’s a corner? My bunny chewed some dry wall on a corner where the walls meet eachother. Not a corner that has a triangle inwards but the type of corner where they stick out. Can I send photos?

I have one similar to this but from a recliner with no hole yet (24"x9"). I won't be going to the store for another few days for paint. I have only all purpose left over from the rooms I need the paint for. If I don't have the hot mud can I use just the all purpose to fill in the concave? I understand it will shrink and take a few coats.
