Was at the doctors during this live and I just couldn’t watch 😢 It’s 10.00 pm now and since I had a rough day( loaded up with lots of test I have to have done☹️) I’m sitting here painting and watching you do your thing😊 I just received your paint pallet ,so I’m testing it out. Just purchased the "botanicals"....have always enjoyed watercolors but have never enjoyed involving myself with them. Started taking and enjoying classes from such a sweet woman who lives nearby...very supportive, full of techniques and info!! Finding that I have a control issue in being "loose" but enjoying the process and enjoying color!! Thank you for sharing your "joy"!!

It may be controversial (your paint I mean) buy I NEED your paints in my life. They are 100% part of my everyday palet I love love love them so much and use them all the time! My colors are getting low. I've been using mine now for a just over a year and a half. Proof the colors last a long time and are wonderful but im needing open stock for refills soon please create this!

Love it! This was such a great video for learning composition!! I loved following along and hearing how you are working through your own thoughts of what to do next and how to keep the elements flowing together while maintaining and enhancing the hero of the painting. Now that I have 2 years of learning and practicing the basics of watercolor; I'm really to level up but not many people really go into depth about how to work out composition and how to make it flow. After painting alone with this video, I'm feeling one step closer...more like this please!! In my copy of this paint along I'm loving the focus flower; I love how flow-ee and breeze-ee the petals are! In fact, this is the very thing I've been working on trying to capture in my art as it's what I think is so cool about flower. They are so imperfect, wonkey, bent, curved and I love those moments in paintings. Thanks for all your hard work behind the scenes and sharing all your creative wonders with the world! People like you make it possible for us visual learner like me to successfully learn watercolor at an affordable price! ❤❤❤

My creative flow kicks in big time at night but the light in the room where I paint is gorgeous in the morning and early afternoon… I got a lamp with adjustable colors of light AND a dimmer function, so am trying to work with my natural tendencies as well as the blessing of all that sunlight…

I love them all! But if I had to choose I would probably pick the pink Dahlias because pink is my favourite happy place colour. I honestly can’t choose between the others though! All gorgeous!

I somehow missed that these were coming out, but was in the market for a new palette and typed "empty watercolor palette" on Amazon, expecting to see the same old boring tins that come up, and then I literally GASPED when I saw the 48-pan palette show up, it was so beautiful! I was like I WANT THAT ONE. Then I saw that it was yours and was even more excited! I ended up going with the strawberry one, though it was a hard choice!

Country beginning with a b is Belgium. And I like tge strawberries pallet best. Still waiting for you to create open stock tubes so I can refill my 1/2 pans. Also I love the tin your paints come in which is different than all your new ones. They are all so beautiful.

Brenda, they come from Amazon US so it shouldn’t take too long. I’m in Pembroke, Ontario and just ordered Kristy’s palette (the one with the paint in it), her brushes and the Art For Joy’s Sake Journal and they are arriving next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I’ll be ordering one or two of these gorgeous new empty palettes next, sooooo difficult to chose which!!

Hi Kristy, have you ever thought about adding watercolor tubes to your art products list? All your products are more expensive here in Europe, at least I can find your books, brushes and empty palettes at amazon. I just can't find your watercolor paints and I really want them. Sadly, overseas shipping and delivery make costs too high. Please make them available to us here! 💞

Thank you for commenting on people correcting you. My husband has dyslexia and one of the symptoms is not pronouncing words correctly...we affectionately call them Barryisms. 😊 He also struggles with spelling. Its unfortunate that others feel the need to correct people in order to make themselves feel smart or important. We laugh and affectionately refer to them as the "grammar police".

In Canada, adding 'empty' to the search watercolor palette made your palettes come up 16 and 19th. I didn't search farther than that lol

The empty palettes don’t come with a swatching insert but my Art for Joy’s Sake palette with 12 colors does :)
