The Greek words are:
(1) μαλακός,a \{mal-ak-os'}
literally meant “soft” but was used in a metaphorical sense in a bad sense
catamite (a pubescent boy who was the sexual partner of a young man in ancient Rome), of a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man, of
a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness; or a male prostitute. It is
defined by Bauer, Ardnt, and Gingrich as referring to “men and boys who allow
themselves to be misused homosexually” and has listed about eight examples of ancient literature using the term in that sense;
and
(2) ἀρσενοκοῖται: is defined by Bauer, Ardnt, and Gingrich as “a
male who practices homosexuality, pederast, sodomite”. ἀρσενοκοίτης (arsenokoitēs),
is based on the Greek (Septuagint) translation of Leviticus 20:13 combining the Greek words for “male” (ἄῤῥην / ἄρσην [arrhēn / arsēn] with “bed” κοίτης [koitēs] found in that passage to mean "one who has sexual intercourse with a male" "If a man lies with a man (arsenos koiten) as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (Leviticus 20:13).
