I just opened it up and will make a video (it probably will not be read for another 1.5 weeks or so as I am still working on editing it and will release it while I am on vacation). Long story short, it just appears the design isn't very good. Where the outdrive goes into the diff there is a pin that holds it into place, much like a pin holds a 12mm hex in place so there in some slop inherent in the design. It may have been stressed a bit making it worse as there is a metal washer/spacer in there that looks bent a little but not to the point that something is going to fail
Great job man! This little buggy changed my mind on smaller scale RC's. We had some new neighbors who bought the home next door move in recently, single mother and her son,9, always comes outside when my daughter and i are running our cars, long story short, my daughter gave him our little buggy. Proud of my kid for that, so now we have another RC member. Appreciate the shoutout as always 🙏
It depends. In general you can go a lot bigger but you will run into stability issues. A 45 amp is going to limit you but if you can get the overall gearing tall enough, you should be able to get it up to 60 or possibly more mph. You just have to keep an eye on the temps of the ESC and motor. As for width, I think it is going to come down to a case by case basis but the servo will potentially struggle and the stability may become an issue.
@BriansRCStuff thank you ! I have a set of tires and rims off of a 1:10 deerc that I was going to put on a 1:6 basher just to see what it wound look like it would be kinda like the Original big foot monster truck with the huge tundra tires on it lol
Can you open up the diff and see what’s wrong?

Thank you!
That is awesome you guys hooked them up with a great RC!
Wooowww 💪🚀
Cut end of stock charger and same to a normal 3s donor battery balance lead and solder together. I did it from day one and it works great!
Also works for 2s with the appropriate ends. Basically just making a male to female balance adapter.
That is a great idea. I figured one of you would have a good idea.
Thank you!
That joker hauling as-------
I had the 16th scale hyper go and the diffs were the weak point. Didn't last long on 3s at all.
Did they look like mine? When they failed did they get more and more sloppy and then let go? What exactly broke? Thanks!
How must taller and wider can you go with tires before you have to change the gearing ??

It’s a wheelie machine on 3s
More than I was expecting!
