I've heard that first story before. Some people are ungrateful, rude f**ks. Karen should've just kept her mouth shut and been nice, but she had to act like a c*** and complain like a psycho.
I used to use an industrial pressure washer, it could cut through tarmac at close range, but in this instance after the first time, I would have gone back and used the washer to write in the unclean part "Screw you jackass" but do it upside down so they could read it when they came out of their house, and then quietly leave!

Had a family member who used to cut a next door neighbour’s grass and power wash there slabs in the back garden he had a heart condition and later developed prostrate cancer so he got his garden paved over for easy maintenance she moaned nobody would cut her grass her son was very wealthy and wouldn’t hire a gardener I power washed her slabs once she moaned about how it turned out I never volunteered to do it again she would come out and watch me do my relatives but I would unfortunately have to pack up after I did there’s be cause I had a place to be 😂

Health care worker here - I was a PSR (patient services rep) for an internal medicine office in a good sized city up until the end of August ’23. Covid isn’t gone. We still had a few cases per week and the numbers still spike during holiday weekends. It’s no surprise how or why there are so many variants. Too many people can’t be bothered to try to prevent it, don’t believe in it, or just don’t care. It’s the elderly and immuno compromised that pay the price for hubris.
and thats why ive kept my distance, still wear a mask and stay at home. there are so many people that dont care if they get someone else sick. even in my own building even when it was really bad. and there are alot of elderly people in my building. which is sad that people dont care about others like that.

My Mother had a friend who ran from bills in the 60’s and 70s when no kind of background checks were done, I was friends with their kids who told me after they were grown about Dad waking them up in the middle of the night to get up and get in the car and they left everything behind, sometimes they even moved to another state, one child said they moved 6 weeks before high school graduation and wouldn’t let him stay behind with a friend, so he started in a new school with 6 weeks to graduation, knowing no one in that town, he made it and got two college degrees.
If my beliefs would drive me to sacrifice people to my gods, I'm pretty sure I would not be authorized to do it. So why these people thinks they are authorized to put other people health in danger?

A fact I would like to point out with the story with the tutor been exposed to Covid. We actually don’t know if he knew at the time. I feel like that’s just speculation on the original posters part. He could’ve very well not known at the time. and that happened to me a couple weeks ago. I was feeling sick and due to some medical issues me and my family thought it was because of that but we went to the hospital and even the doctor said he thought it was me having some medical issues. But we went home. My dad got the idea to test me and I came up positive for Covid, and I never even knew.

I was always more right leaning when it came to covid mandates, even if some personal medical reasons were involved in my opinions. Still, my family and myself would NEVER have had someone over when we were sick. We all followed the quarantine mandate whenever anyone of us got covid. That family was being ridiculous and I'm sry you went thru that op.
Yeah first time she called me at 8 and said why aren't you here I would say cause work and I don't do it till this date if she called back before that date id block her number till that date. If she said something again if I had to come back I'd remind her I'm doing this for free then block her number till I can do it again if she has a problem with it id tell her to pay someone else to do it.
That neighbor is scum, but I am glad that the grandparents are no longer friends with those entitled goons. It would have served them right if OP had used the pressure washer on them the same way M3GAN did on that awful neighbor.

Story 1: While it is nice, this is a good reason why you should never volunteer or do any jobs or work for free. You will ALWAYS get taken advantage of and/or have some crazy idiot like Karen here. Seriously, i would've called the cops on this old bat for harassment with the amount of times she was calling/texting the OP here... and expecting her to do it during a thunderstorm? I know that wouldve been my cue to tell her off in not so nice words. Also, how stupid is this Karen to think that a small pressure washer is going to change the colour of a rock so that it matches concrete? I dont know what shes smoking, but it must be good. Good thing the grandparents stood up for the OP and ended the friendship with those horrible people. Screw them.
Story 2: And here we have even more proof as to why people dont/wont rent out their homes to people.... you always get some jerks like these people. At least the OP didn't take their crap with the courts and found them afterwards to get back all the back rent.
Story 3: I wouldve dropped those people as clients, especially if they willingly did that, and kept refusing virtual sessions. Those parents are slimebags. I absolutely hate people like them. Whether its COVID or a simple cold.
Story 4: Get charged another day, then use it another day. Pretty simple. The malicious compliance was pretty funny, and well deserved. Hopefully the company made that rental worker clean the car from all the rain and mud.

Alright my honest opinion on that first story the original poster should have been more specifically detailed on how she does things with her neighbors Karen embalm yes she doesn't owe her time to them but at the same time of you say you're going to do something for somebody make sure you tell them how you're going to get it done for them because if you're not specific with people they have too many high expectations from you on how you get things done for them when you say you're going to do something for them and then it causes a whole mess of trouble where they're constantly bugging you and telling you this is how you told me you were going to do it this is when you told me you were going to do it this is how you told me you were going to get it done and you see when you don't see things clearly when people on how you get things done yeah they think you over them something and they think you wasted their time so sorry to say it it really is on the original poster for bringing her neighbors upon her the way she did so she is the asshole
