Buddy I stumbled upon your videos 3 years ago today and my life hasn't been the same since! Thank you for passing this knowledge on. Your gift will live on forever
I've dyed with my kids every summer (mostly) since they were 2 and now my oldest daughter just graduated from college with a degree in textile design doubled with Spanish, (ok proud Mama) but her senior projects were all different dying techniques, on many different natural fabrics! Thanks for this! I wish I had this resource 28 years ago! BTW, you have a great speaking voice!
I’m about to try my first tie dye and have been watching some RUclips videos to prepare. Man, this video was packed with information! Thank you for explaining the “why”, it makes all the difference.
Bizarre! This is my first time watching tie dye with powdered dyes and ice... Very cool. And you're very easy to follow and understand. I appreciate that in a tutorial. : )
One of the most impressive Ice dyes I've seen thus far and the way you broke it down gave me a much better understanding and inspiration for shirts I wanna do. Huge props brother!! Keep up the tight work! 💪💯
I've now watched just about every video you've made. I typically don't leave comments but I just had to stop in and pay my mad respect to you. You've taught so many people how to create beautiful art solely for the beauty of doing so. This creates such great karma and I respect & APPRECIATE people that do that so much! I hope life is treating you so well. ~Namaste~
I know Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Aden Kaiser Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I am in awe right now. Especially considering that I am Crispyy as well. Thank you for these ideas. I'm starting my own business and you sparked an ember of inspiration and creativity inside me that I almost forgot existed.
DANG!!! So happy I subscribed and watched this video. I have been ice dying all wrong (sprinkle over ice). So much more control this way!! I tried your V shirt for my son-in-law to wear at Cali Roots this year :-) Washing it as I type.
Pleaseeeee do a yin yang tutorial!! I would really appreciate it. Also, absolutely love your videos! Did my first black hole shirt and it turned out awesome! Thanks Man!
I love your tie dye videos! Could you make one that explains everything. Like what folding in general creates on the shirt, what tying really tight does compared to not tying, just all the basic stuff, except with explanations and examples. Like tie dying 101 ha. Please and thank you!!
I love your videos and have been watching for years! I was wondering what type of powdered die you use (specific brand or a link to the product maybe?) because i feel I’d like to expand my capabilities from liquid dye! Thanks:)
I have been tie dying for a while now and this technique has not even came to mind about using the liquid on one side with the darker colors and then using the powder on the other side with the lighter colors to make that like Hi-Lo affect awesome the face in the Middle where the rainbows where the emblem started at that's amazing I'm so going to try one right now
I always go back again and again to watch your videos. Are you still doing tie dye? I hope that you are doing great things out there in the world. I appreciate you!🤓
Amazing techniques and video, thank you! Can you tell more about what the powdered dye is? Is that the same as what is in the bottles but water added? Is soda ash added to bottles? How do you measure it? Thanks for any advice!

Lovely, thank you.

You are the Bob Ross of tie dye
Very cool!
Your videos are rad! I am wondering which black you use at Dharma? I tried hot black with decent results...but your shirts look much darker.
I use New Black** at a 4x concentration (32ml per cup of water) and then I add a little navy too to even out the shade.
That was a big shirt. What size? I would love to buy a couple 5-6xl ones just like this if possible.
