  • The BBC have been caught lying about the state pension increase, implying that everyone will get circa £450 p.a. increase, A LIE as it is only a fraction of the pension claimers that will get that amount, most will only get circa £350 as they are older pensioners who the governments over time decided to screw with less money.
Recorded from BBC1 London HD, BBC Breakfast, Newswatch, 14 September 2024.

So, the BBC have this little show that looks at how they present the news. All they do is give it air time ( and not a lot) and answer any questions in a bland manner, and receive replies from teh BBC ( who the programme producers work for ??!!l) in the main via a BBC statement, which is faceless.! I've written to Newswatch several times and been thanked for my input- but nothing changes. This programme is just smoke and mirrors to indicate that the BBC is accountable to the viewers, which we know it is not.
Defund it and make it pay it's own way. Its no longer independent or impartial- so they can advertise.
