We love the guy to bits. Just hope Mr Marinakas doesn't get impatient! Let's face it, City will turn over another 3 or 4 teams with similar scorelines before the season ends. At the start of the season, I reckon most Forest fans looking at August's fixtures would have settled for 4 points. It's September that will define us. 3 games against teams that are likely to be around us in the league come the end. If we get sod all from those, then we're in trouble. On the plus side, without Haaland it was only 3-0! And we didn't set a new PL record! But yeah, it was brutal. Hope Steve settles on his best 11 before long.

Was a stat last night that on average City stick at least 5 goals past someone every 7 PL games under Guardiola so, particularly at this stage of building a new team, there really is no shame in the result. Win at the weekend and it's forgotten about and we're back to looking upwards!

Forest struggled to keep the ball they couldn't find players to pass to. Man City got the ball and their players instantly moved into space to receive the ball then on receiving the ball other players would move into space to receive the ball ...Keeping possession well up to the goal area. Forest must be less static. They looked much more dynamic though towards the end but poor passing availability was a big problem to retain possession.
Johnson came off a good decision, he just isn't good enough for the Premiership, again lacks precence, lacks power, vision and still lazy hes just not up for it strength wise also.

As a city fan I have more respect for a team that try’s to play football then defend, yes I know that means we can score more but also it means we have more of a chance of not winning.
