Both of the jackets look lovely. The fabrics make the jackets look so different. The frill on the denim jacket finishes off the collar beautifully. I think it was unfair of Tilly to separate the jacket and lining patterns. When you buy a pattern you expect it to be complete. The patterns are expensive so I don't know how Tilly can justify this. However,I am so glad you gave the reason you purchased the lining pattern after trying to draught one yourself as I found that really helpful.

Thank you ☺️ yeah it was a shame that the lining wasn’t included. I did try to draft my own but it didn’t work out unfortunately so I wanted to get maximum use out of the lining I purchased ☺️💖. Think I will plan another jacket soon in another fabric too as I really like the pattern and the finished jackets. Thanks for watching x

Thanks Karen 💖☺️ I’m pleased you like the ruffle collar one, I wasn’t sure how that would work out but I really like it xx

Great jackets Becky 🙌🏻🙌🏻. My favorite is the mustard corduroy, but they are both really pretty 😍. I don’t own any Tilly and the Buttons pattern 😔😔. Maybe one day I’ll try it 👍. Thanks for sharing your beautiful jackets. Take care, Karen 💞💞

Thank you I’m pleased you like my jackets. It’s the first time I’ve used a cord fabric like this but I really like the finished jacket. I’m a big fan of Tilly and the Buttons patterns so I’d recommend you trying them 💖☺️

Thank you for sharing. I love both jackets. I have the pattern, but I also have the Style Arc smith jacket in my que. Since I live in Arizona, the desert, an unlined jacket is best. However, your corduroy one is adorable.❤❤❤

Thanks for watching ☺️. I’m pleased you like both of my jackets. I’ve not made the Style Arc pattern but I hope you enjoy both patterns when you make them 💖 x

Thank you for such a helpful video! I love the leopard version, it's got such a great personality! I'm currently making a cropped denim version up and I'm having a little trouble inserting the sleeve into the armholes - all the notches match, but there's a lot of excess fabric between the shoulder notch and the back yoke seam notch. I was wondering if you have any advise about it? Thank you! xx

Thank you I’m pleased you liked my video. I inserted my sleeves flat rather than in the round and then eased the fabric into place. I find that a bit easier than doing it when the side seams are already sewed together. I hope that helps ☺️💖 x

Good to see you again. I wondered about your thoughts of the Sonny jacket compared to the SOI Sorrento? As from memory you have made that to.

Thank you ☺️ I recorded this video before my little girl was born but just got around to posting it ☺️. Yeah I have made both jackets. The Sorrento jacket is a bit more fitted than the Sonny jacket. Both have nice details. The Sonny has 2 lengths to make and could probably be made in more variety’s of fabric 🤔. I like the Sonny can be lined to make it more of a warm jacket. My Sorrento jackets are more for wearing with my summer outfits. Hope that helps xx

I like your jackets but I won't be buying the pattern. I think it outrageous that they are selling the lining as a separate pattern. Also the lining is only in pdf. The printed copy plus lining plus cost of printing adds up to about £48. I'm sure i can find something like it much cheaper.
