    Also Mykita would be good choice as it roots with ic berlin. Also thank you for introducing ovvo. Didn't know there was a brand in America with screwless design

    The Lindbergs are great. I have the Titanium Rims and would never go back to standard frames again.

    I had two pair of ic berlin break. They replaced it once, the second time i had to pay $260 for the front half that holds the lenses. Under their dead twitter page, there is a pinned tweet with a lot of pic from people with the same breaking point. I still love 'em but am having a hard time deciding if I want to pay for new lenses if they will just break a 3rd time.

    My ovvo leg/temple comes off… can someone please let me know how to reattach…?

    I definitely would NOT buy a BMW if I wanted my car to last a lifetime, lol. Maybe they lasted in the past but nowadays they’re known for being overengineered and expensive to maintain, something you lease and get rid of when the lease is up. A better comparison would probably be Lexus.

    Can the nose piece on ic! Berlin frames be adjusted to fit?

    • @eyeguyken8042
      @eyeguyken8042  3 года назад

      yes, definitely. We adjust them all the time at Mott Optical Group stores. If you are in NYC, come visit or you can find a local optician to adjust it for you.

    I've been hearing a bit about the ic berlins falling apart a lot. Do you have any knowledge of that? $500 for just the frame is a lot for glasses that fall apart easily

    • @eyeguyken8042
      @eyeguyken8042  3 года назад +1

      hi nicky, my family business, the mott optical group, has been selling ic Berlin for years. We probably sell about a thousand pairs fo IC berlin a year, and from experience, they do not fall apart easily and customers find a lot of value in the technology and design for the price. The temples have a way to snap off, but the beauty of the design is that it can snap back on easily with the proper technique. Thanks for the question

    I have Lindberg NOW and has a bent hinge and cannot find anyone to fix it. The Lindberg optic shop went out of business and became Oliver People's store at our mall. I am wondering if you can put up a video to show how to fix the hinge that is out of alignment. I paid so much money on this glass frame, I am afraid to take it to any untrained person or myself

      Where do you live? Usually authorized lindberg dealers can fix that

    hey i own a pair of screwless glasses and now i cant figure out how to tighten them. They're lose now.
    any idea how to fix them?

    • @nathanfernau541

      If you still need help ovvo actually has a video on how to tighten the arms yourself. I had to do it, super easy. Took less than five minutes once I was used to getting them reattached.
