Takedown pin is too easy to lose, bought extra ones and keep them in my range bag. Slide stop isn't meant to load the firearm, and designed to be racked manually. Same with Glock style slide stops. Few manufactures calls it a slide release, like H&K on their USP pistols.
Read your manual the slide stop is not meant to be a slide release on this gun also with a magazine in the well you're fighting the last round hold open to release the slide Slingshot it
Thank you for the video! I was looking to replace my sight to see if I can fix my aiming issue. I read that other max9 owners also facing the same thing. I had trouble with super low shots, until I started aiming with the front sight above the rear one; so that the top of the slide is even with the top of the rear sight. Then, it was dead on. I installed a red dot and also my aim is dead on but I prefer not to use a red dot for edc. Have you encounter the same issue using the iron sights?
