Just do as much damage as you can when you summon the first group. The blade you get from the bloodhound is incredibly good as you don’t get hit while using it and you can follow with a power attack after each special that does insane damage. Basically keep doing this over and over and he will eventually stagger allowing you alot of extra damage. Hop back on your horse when he shoots in the sky. Go summon anything you can and then just stay tf away from him and dodge what you can while summoning. When I mean stay away. Stay tf away unless you got the health. Yeah, all Boss battles are easy when you're level 105 before the Moon Queen and you can summon three wolves and sit back and cheese with meteorites.
Im sharing my knowledge! You can beat him in 2 Atks! All you need is 15 int, 12 Faith and some dragons under you belt, Buy rotten Breath! Phase 1 let proceed as normal, let the phantoms get the agro! Wait till he does an atk with high recovery and breath him! (Rot is like a strong poison) he will lose over half his health from 1 application, just keep your summons up and stay far enought ao you dont aggro him! Phase 2 do dodge to escape the metor impact, while hes pulling his rocks from the ground breath him again! Then quickly run to the other side of the map and make sure you keep a hill between you and him for his range atks in case he send the balls! And just keep on the move till he dies! @@emiliogaleano3409 I did, beat him not too long ago. Still a terrible boss, felt no satisfaction from beating him, just a sense of relief. Like the kind you get after a rough dentist appointment. I can appreciate what fromsoft was trying to do here and yes my original comment was a result of being incredibly butthurt, but still the point stands. This boss is simply not fun to fight.
Thanks for the strategy, I was able to beat him in my third try. Also, if you are having difficulty use a shield with barricade and a weapon with bleed. With this method I was able to almost 1 phase him.
I died so many times to this boss. I must have watched at least 10 other videos detailing how to kill this dude and they all failed. I followed what you did in this video and killed him straight away. Thank You!
I don't know if i just lucked out, or if this boss is actually way too easy, but... I just defeated Radahn for the first time, on only my second try. I just kept my distance from him on torrent, kept summoning, got him poison throwing knives a few times, went in for a few brief attacks, then kept my distance and kept summoning - easy as that. I had more issues with Rennala than him! Not as though i was using glitches either, so it just seems a bit too easy really.
@powerxd3434 In as far as he summoned characters being enough to defeat him, yes! I would have preferred to have them be of some use in the fight, but to have needed to engage in more combat to defeat him as well. Its a bit of a shame, for such a great boss sequence.
The strategy I used is just to summon the 15 freaking soldiers it let's you, heavy attack after he combos, and when the soldiers die wait for the marks to respawn, repeat. Worked for me and the soldiers did 80% of the work.
It's incredible how you can just spam some bosses down with melee in this game. I did that too with Rennala. She wasn't even been able to summon just one of her minions.
Use the Icerind Hatchet for this fight, mine is only +7 and I had him at around a quarter health of my first try, it's an incredible weapon against most bosses!
I was getting destroyed trying to range battle him then I watched this video and figured I’d try to stay underneath and behind him which is the oldest dark souls trick in the book but it worked and I absolutely shredded him first try. Basically the key is don’t let him get those magic attacks off. Go super aggressive while your summons are alive to aggro him.
Did exactly as you said with pure dex build. I am currently on my 24th try total and 8th try with your strategy. I can’t stress enough how un-fun this fight is. It’s 85% RNG and luck. I know it worked for you and all but I can’t get the bleed on him when he’s constantly moving everywhere, my attacks go straight through him sometimes with no damage dealt. This boss is too much
This boss could’ve been one of the all-time greats if they took out the one-shot moves and reduced his health slightly or slightly increase the health of the summons.
Honestly feels like they made him hit harder so that the phantoms wouldn’t make it too easy. Imo a garbage decision done poorly since only 2 phantoms end up living to phase 2 if you’re lucky.
I bashed my head against this guy for 3 hours. I tried to use spells as I'm playing an int/dex hybrid, but it's just not the way to go unless you're a pure caster. He will rekt your homies way too fast and once you have them only single file coming in he will just one or two shot them one by one. First off I was level 45. So I went and farmed about 10 levels with the rolling ball farm. Then I manned up and got in the fray. Now the dude in the video got Radahn's health to like 10% before he meteored away, but usually it's gonna be at 50%. The OP here got really lucky with a stagger right before he would've changed phases, so expect a much longer phase 2. But some advice - stay between his legs, I cannot reiterate this enough, right between them. He won't hit you unless it's a gravity air in phase two. When he hops on his poor horse back away. Before phase two starts have the physic flask with the damage reduction bubble l. It will eliminate the one shot by the meteors he summons above him if one happens to target you. Also resummon all your friends in between phases and get back in there asap.upur shield will block some of the damage from his gravity attacks, but stay away from his diving attack. That will one shot you for sure. Also if he staggers don't bother trying to get the critical. He gets up too fast. Just keep swinging away mercilessly.
where do you get the bubble from, please? I don't have many things for the flask yet. I have not played much of the game though. I'm just planning ahead for this guy as I know he's going to be difficult.
After countless agonising attempts I've finally beat the son of a bitch! Thank you for this tip! Looks like the only way to beat this boss is to have some balls and face him head on. Blood damage helps chew this boss health
@@erenabi1758 there is a Ash of War skill called Bloody Slash which gives the ability to infuse some weapons with bleed effect. The trick is to just stay under the boss and try to evade all attacks as much as possible until bleed damage takes effect. I recommend you summon as much NPC as possible to distract the boss while you spam attacks under him.
@@maning04 so i should summon all the allies and spam shift + right click?(im playing on pc, i mean i should use ash of war skill all the time or just basic attack?)
@@erenabi1758 its best to use summons as much as possible to get his attention. While at it you need stick close to the boss as much as possible and spam normal and heavy melee attacks as long as there is an opening. The bleed damage will take chunks of his health. At half health be sure to re-summon the NPCs that are killed because the boss can literally one shot you. Let the NPCs damage the boss until low health and that is where you can throw all you attacks and finish him off. At least that is what I did. Just keep trying until you finally beat him it took me 1 or 2 tries because I knew he was taking a lot of damage with what I did.
I'm lvl 37 and I can confirm this strategy will work "galliantly charge with the might of a thousand angry beaver's" Never thought I would take these words as seriously as I did I got him to one shot but died I should also include this is my ten attempt at him
Even though I’m just lvl 45 and just tried this boss for 1,5 hours, I believe he is certainly doable. It’s just the damage his attacks do, but I’ve already gotten close so I know it’s possible Edit: finally did it! Took 5 hours but as I said, I believed it to be possible. Now I’m just swimming in runes :D and most of all can continue the Ranni quest.
I’m level 72. I took a strength and dex physick and ate some exalted meat and he died within 2 minutes. His health was well below half before he left because me and the gang had him stun locked lol
I just have to say, you were totally right. I got killed maybe 20-30 times attempting this at range. First try going in to fight close up I did it first try. When he got down to the smallest amount of health I let the gang do their thing while reviving them. Couldn’t risk getting one shot when so close. Thanks!
Omg I just played aggressive for the first time and beat him on my second try before he could even go into his second form/phase hahaha I’m kinda shocked after dying to him for hours
This video sounds dumb but when you actually try what he’s saying it works. Didn’t know you could re summon your friends. Absolutely melted him with this guide
I defeated him on my 9th(level 56 ish) attempt, the first fase it’s quite simple except the rng, bleed/dex build are very good against him bc 6 mfs hitting him plus a massive damage from bleeding.
Sample set: 1. Result: 1 win. I have to say this seems to work, although note the tiny sample set. The key seems to be to getting underneath him, where you’re safe enough to just hit him over and over. There are several benefits to this approach: • Only about 2 minutes per try • No worrying about your buddies dying, because it’ll be over before that’s an issue • Getting over the fear was also a big psychological win for me. This fight felt like the boss was in cheat mode and I absolutely hated that feeling.
He's easy if your a caster too, just spam him with your most powerful spell whilst mounted (I used glintstone cometshard), every time you pull aggro just run away, he shouldn't touch you.
The ultimate cheese is to get 15 faith (dont even need to level, just use faith increasing armor) and Rot Breath (easy to get, just kill sleeping dragon.) and then and you have to do is hit him twice with Rot Breath and he'll be dead in less than 5 minutes.
I had a lot concern going into this fight because of all the things i've read about Radahn being so hard. I was able to beat it on first try by simply letting the NPCs have a go at him. When they died, i went and respawned them and was able to land a couple of it on my side too so that I would not feel TOO shameful about letting them do all the dirty work.
Alright you guys this is a very refined gaming guide with a lot of moving parts so you’re gonna wanna pay attention because if you miss anything you’ll probably fail miserably. So: in order to beat radahn, hit him until he dies. Thank you for watching and I’ll see you in the next one

Okay, m8, if you're gonna be giving advice on how to win against this boss, maybe not having a video showcasing some of the most *ridiculous* luck I have ever seen would've been smarter.
Even tho this is 2 yrs old you’re right! Spent a lot of time riding around him on horseback scared but as long as you keep summoning and rolling behind him it only took 3 tries after this vid, thanks!
Amazing guide, I've been struggling against him for so long and I beat him as easily as you said, I can't understand why anyone would dislike this video.
This boss is honestly extremly easy if you constantly stay under him, its only when his absolutely Bullshit rocks in phase 2 that one shot is what makes him a terrible boss fight
i was also between lvl 40 and 50, got him in like 5 - 10 tries. did not do anything better in the successful try, just had a bit of luck. i let the summons do the work, only attacking his back and fleeing. same for phase 2, mostly ran around reviving, occasionaly revieved them by taking agro. past his purple ball attacks, i was mounted until the very end, where i rode in, got in a few blows, he turned around and killed my horse. as i was picking myself up, having invincibility frames, he bashed right trough me whitout a hit, all whilst being attacked by like 6 ppl. i then emediately started spaming r1 and got him. felt like luck, undeserved. edit: forgot to mention that i did not use any mind or bows. only my bloodhound fang +6. i have a very balanced build tho, i think not overspending on vigor was a good idea, as most of his attacks can oneshot you anyway.
Just commenting to let you that your guide worked well. Tried 10+ times to kill him using other method but I used my dual katanas to cause bleed build on him and beat him 2nd try on this method. Thanks you!
a guide that actually helps… this boss beats my “no summoning” principle, ive been trying to solo him but I finally realised that’s such a stupid idea lol, going berserk on him with a team is rly useful
@@Banskie thx a lot! I tried ur strat and succeed on my second try lol, like he’s super hard to beat (I know it’s possible but rly rly hard) when going solo but he becomes a joke with this strat…
This video seemed not much like advice at first since it's basically use the summons and hit him, but it actually helped me a lot, got him within 3 tries just wailing on him at level 43.
Quip tip to those who don’t have insane boss rng like the guy in the video (all of you): When your summons die, you can summon them again. So when Radahn enters his second phase and disappears, take that time to summon all your pals back to agro the boss.
Thank you. It worked really well. I did it my second try with this method. However I am level 98 and I was holding two swords at the same time. Which were +6 Moonveil and +5 Meteoric Ore Blade. I didn't need any power ups. Just summon my team and attacked him behind as much as I could before he gets into his second phase. Once he was in his second phase I would try the same thing but was more cautious. Hope this helps
Heh, level 85 mage. No summons. Only Magic Glintblade ftw. Come to him, make him go melee, move away and spam whenever you are far enough. If he throws you off horse, resummon it. And 2 casts of indomitable vow on shield for juicy invulnerability frames on meteor. Took me about 10 tries before i figured everything out. Actually have no idea how to stay within his safe zone when he moves around so much. At least not with magic caster. With Rennalla i used summon, and i admit it. Magic resistance is PAIN, so i was forced to use Rock Sling. So... Cheese first phase with Night's Maiden Mist (you only need to hit her once to finish her off then). Pop Physick flask. Before you hit her summon tank, refill mana and switch to staff and Terra Magica. Then when she casts comet Azur move bit to the left (so she wouldn't hit tank) and come close to her. When your tank staggers her a bit and forces aggro (which actually doesn't exactly works with her for some reason, as she still targets you) pop Terra Magica and spam Rock Sling. You will highly likely get forced to dodge one or 2 spells. But she melts fast.
A thousand angry beavers huh? Lol it took me about 4 hours repeatedly to get him down. When he had a sliver if health left, I was panicking because that's usually when he would throw his purple rocks at me and 1 shot me. I could not stop shaking once I killed him. It took a few minutes for the hysterical laughter to kick in lol been a while since I've had to deal with a boss like this. Holy cow he's insane. Awesome, but insane.
I am playing with faith, damage build and magma cleaver (that curved greatsword) and i am trying to beat him solo without spawning anything probably means that i am a sadist
If you want to "Chesse" him you can kill the big sleeping dragon in Graydoll's dragonbarrow and buy the rotten breath incantation and when you start the bossfight just spawn all the friends and when radahnn is distracted go behind him and activate rotten breath (for me it took 2 hits with the rotten breath)
I beat him at level 65 after 10 tries, I equipped double bloodloss spear. jump and L1, the hardest one is during the final phase where you can't be greedy with your hits but also need to position yourself for a solid hit
How to beat Radahn? Pack as much damage as possible. Great tip. Recently, I've become a billionaire by saving a billion dollars. (on a serious note, don't fight this untill you get to the capital where you can get a legendary spear that shoots anime style lightning missile - you can cheese this boss and have stupid fun doing it cause it looks so cool!)
Easy cheese: Summon the first 3 behind the swords in the sand, it will block the arrow. Get on your horse and ride to the right all the way around him, he cant hit you well there. When the summons attack him get behind him and use scarlet rot dragon breath. Get back on your horse and pepper him a bit with charge attacks while continuously summoning to keep him busy. The first wave of rot wont kill him but get him again while hes busy attacking the summons and then keep your distance and he'll eventually die.
I just kept running on the horseback and kept reviving the warriors or whatever they were. Stayed as far away as I could. Then he suddenly disappeared and everything turned red. Warriors had reduced his health down to an inch on the health bar. I then wandered near the water and he appeared again. I ran like hell but he followed closely. I turned back, fired couple of meteorite strikes, he swung at me. We both died at the same time. I thought I had to do it all over again but luckily I got a cutscene and all the good loot that came with it.
The first time I went up against Radahn I didn't know enough to summon help. Just mounted and ran at him. Zigged whenever he fired an arrow. On reaching him I just kept running around him clockwise swinging my Bloodhound Fang. Never got touched for the whole fight. Wasn't even sure that I was doing any damage until it was over. My thinking at the time was that the game must have been bugged.
its unbelievably easy with scarlet rott breath using faith build , to make things even easier having a dragon communion seal is great but whatever you know scarlet rott absolutely tears through everything in this game even when radahn only takes 50 percent damage from it

EASY 2 ATK BOSS KILL!
Thanks for the insight!
I just confirmed that this indeed works

My luck must suck cuz I still cant beat him lol
No this is genius game design. Having a gigantic asshole dart around the map buttfucking you in one to two hits while you can’t see shit because his ass takes up the whole screen. It’s incredibly fun and rewarding to die to the same bullshit over and over again and having to run 15 miles through raining arrows everytime while trying to summon your deadweight teammates.

Nice Job!
I died so many times to this boss. I must have watched at least 10 other videos detailing how to kill this dude and they all failed. I followed what you did in this video and killed him straight away. Thank You!

Easily the best guide, this worked literally my first try. I was playing like a coward before, but you really just gotta rush him!
Glad it worked for you!
Yeah, the key is the more aggressive they are the more aggressive you have to be.
the RNG difference between the shown run here and the non stop 360 spinning attacks he does to me is insane, I can't do it the way shown here.
Same.
i spilled my tea when not only he said " his attacks" but also "stay behind him".
Yeah I am trying, but spinny boy wont let me even get near him.
Just need to learn to be more patient. Every attack he does is avoidable.
He's nerfed pretty bad in new update
She wasn't even been able to summon just one of her minions.
lol thats what happened to me today too, just kept smacking her, she got stunned and i kept on smackin her. she barely did anything
Good job dude!
@@dynamicflashy like the Fire giant. He has Too much health in 2nd Phase and One Shots u
Great advice!
where do you get the bubble from, please? I don't have many things for the flask yet. I have not played much of the game though. I'm just planning ahead for this guy as I know he's going to be difficult.
After countless agonising attempts I've finally beat the son of a bitch! Thank you for this tip! Looks like the only way to beat this boss is to have some balls and face him head on. Blood damage helps chew this boss health
Congrats dude!
could you tell me name of the blood items so i could get them and kill him easily?

Even though I’m just lvl 45 and just tried this boss for 1,5 hours, I believe he is certainly doable. It’s just the damage his attacks do, but I’ve already gotten close so I know it’s possible
Edit: finally did it! Took 5 hours but as I said, I believed it to be possible. Now I’m just swimming in runes :D and most of all can continue the Ranni quest.
Yeah it is possible I did it at level 42

I just have to say, you were totally right. I got killed maybe 20-30 times attempting this at range. First try going in to fight close up I did it first try. When he got down to the smallest amount of health I let the gang do their thing while reviving them. Couldn’t risk getting one shot when so close. Thanks!

A tip is that you can apply bloodgrease on your weapon to apply more bleed that did the trick for me
Sample set: 1. Result: 1 win. I have to say this seems to work, although note the tiny sample set. The key seems to be to getting underneath him, where you’re safe enough to just hit him over and over. There are several benefits to this approach:
• Only about 2 minutes per try
• No worrying about your buddies dying, because it’ll be over before that’s an issue
• Getting over the fear was also a big psychological win for me. This fight felt like the boss was in cheat mode and I absolutely hated that feeling.
He's easy if your a caster too, just spam him with your most powerful spell whilst mounted (I used glintstone cometshard), every time you pull aggro just run away, he shouldn't touch you.
Good stuff
He never get distracted by the summons he just keeps chasing me
Same
“In just 2 minutes” More like 2 hours! I kept re-summoning the NPCs to get through the second and third phase for me. 😂
0:31 got me weak
:D
I reckon you need to put a few hits in as the souls don't complete the job alone 😉
Alright you guys this is a very refined gaming guide with a lot of moving parts so you’re gonna wanna pay attention because if you miss anything you’ll probably fail miserably. So: in order to beat radahn, hit him until he dies. Thank you for watching and I’ll see you in the next one

Do you have to discover all of the summons?

This literally just made my day 🤣. Good shit bro 💪🏾💯
This boss is honestly extremly easy if you constantly stay under him, its only when his absolutely Bullshit rocks in phase 2 that one shot is what makes him a terrible boss fight
Bro I just killed this guy super easy first try
Same.
i was also between lvl 40 and 50, got him in like 5 - 10 tries. did not do anything better in the successful try, just had a bit of luck. i let the summons do the work, only attacking his back and fleeing. same for phase 2, mostly ran around reviving, occasionaly revieved them by taking agro. past his purple ball attacks, i was mounted until the very end, where i rode in, got in a few blows, he turned around and killed my horse. as i was picking myself up, having invincibility frames, he bashed right trough me whitout a hit, all whilst being attacked by like 6 ppl. i then emediately started spaming r1 and got him. felt like luck, undeserved. edit: forgot to mention that i did not use any mind or bows. only my bloodhound fang +6. i have a very balanced build tho, i think not overspending on vigor was a good idea, as most of his attacks can oneshot you anyway.
Just commenting to let you that your guide worked well. Tried 10+ times to kill him using other method but I used my dual katanas to cause bleed build on him and beat him 2nd try on this method. Thanks you!

"I don't think you have to wait until lv70"

Man, I just came back to say thank you. It was as easy as you said. It took me like 30 times trying different ways 😂
Thanks a lot.
with your guidance, I gank and frost him for the NPCs. And then it was so easy to finish.
I used the wonder physick flask to multiply damage and kept my distance while using the meteorite staff and Rock Sling. Took him down in 2 minutes.
Idk why but i deadass did this first try using this you the goat... i feel good asf now
Good job!
The feeling you get when you defeat a difficult souls boss xD hits different
This made it basically free win. Swarm in melee, run way such that the meteor doesn't kill followers, then swarm in melee again.
The power of angry beavers really helped. It only took me three times to beat him.
Seconds try , first time playing a souls game and im lvl 47
it's easy asf stfu
I just kept running on the horseback and kept reviving the warriors or whatever they were. Stayed as far away as I could. Then he suddenly disappeared and everything turned red. Warriors had reduced his health down to an inch on the health bar. I then wandered near the water and he appeared again. I ran like hell but he followed closely. I turned back, fired couple of meteorite strikes, he swung at me. We both died at the same time. I thought I had to do it all over again but luckily I got a cutscene and all the good loot that came with it.
Glad i watched, i didnt know you could summon companions. Been trying so many times!
As a mage, I just summoned all the ads and as soon as he was tied down I hit him with a Kamehameha blast. I never saw his second phase
great idea!
Thank you so much your tips saved me I was able to defeat him after seeing how you explained it
Thank you so much!! Did it first try after this video and I had tried many times! Thank you!!
"With the strength of a thousand angry beavers" I love that phrase
