Thanks so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed. Leave any future video ideas you would like to see in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe!
Hi Drew! Is it possible to ask you to follow up on those designs and see what people actually did to their spaces after your recommendation? That would be fantastic to watch 😊
Love this idea!
Yes i want to see the real Transformation.
Yes I love this idea!
Love thisss
Just a little educational moment for anyone who’s interested: the chrome chair of the last redesign is actually a design classic called the Wassily chair. It was designed by Marcel Breuer while he was at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany und the 1920s and is classified as modernist. Originally Breuer called his chair Model B3, but it was later dubbed Wassily Chair because Wassily Kandinsky, who was at the Bauhaus during the same time, liked the first design so much that Breuer fabricated a dublicate for him.
I highly encourage everyone who is interested in architecture and design to read and learn about the Bauhaus movement because ist incredibly interesting and inspiring. A lot of modern design classics stem from this era.
I don’t like the chair at all, but I do really appreciate the historical architectural context - thank you for sharing that! 🥰
Thank you! It threw me off a little when he said it has a "70's vibe" because i know it was designed in the 1920's, but I guess that just shows how timeless a lot of the Bauhaus design pieces are, and why they are still liked to this day.
@@Birtheish Although the piece originated in the 20s it definitely has the 70s vibe. As a young adult in the 70s I can tell you they were common in that era.❤️
Thank you for sharing! I jumped to the comments to say the same as soon as I saw that iconic chair!
I guess things from the 70s have 20s vibes, not the other way round 😀
Omggg, thank you so much for featuring my room!! I love what you came up with and am super excited to get started on fixing it up! 😭💖
It’s you!!
Video or you never changed it. Please ~
Good luck and have fun in your new space!
I really hope you do what he showed with your space, he did such an incredible job! Good luck to you!
Omg your makeover was my fav!
Those 3D renderings are AMAZING! Please let them be in the video longer so we can check them out properly, I kept pausing the video. Love this series SO much and how you explain your design decisions
I slowed down the speed just to soak in the visual goodness!
There is no point for them to be in the video longer when we can just pause the video and look at them for hours if we want to.
My favorite was the wallpaper on the cabinets. It made the room seem so much bigger.
What the fuck? This is one of the coolest videos I've seen. The final vision coming to life is absolutely crazy- I've never seen anyone do anything like this!!!! Pleassseee keep doing these!!!!!
You can also use the papers that were in the frames to test out your gallery wall!
The paper is not as big as the frame though
@@hellototheworld it usually is the exact same size of the frame as it fills it out
@@shisah5544 but it's not as big as the actual frame. Like the outside of the actual frame.
@@shisah5544 The paper is the size of the glass, not the frame
@@nikitiabrooke8632 depends what kind of frame, what’s a few cm difference if all you’re doing is plotting out where to put them? I’ve used frame inserts for a massive gallery wall and it worked just fine 😐
The new graphics/renderings are top-notch! Can’t wait for the next one!
ruclips.net/video/knKyx75dIiE/видео.html
I thank you for most of my design choices.
:)))
Same here! ☺️
WOW- I love how your brain works - I couldn't fathom how to make that first tiny bedroom with those cabinets work but you did an amazing job with your renderings!! Also loved the other designs too of course!
I love how you can illustrate your vision instead of just drawing on pics! Your friend Rebecca Robeson ought to incorporate this in her videos 😉
I absolutely LOVE this series. Each rooms looks so great and it’s so satisfying to see a “final result” even though there’s no actual makeover. Love it.
Bowing down to your talent! You are on a whole other level, with your amazing taste and unprecedented creativity. Love the "What would Drew do" videos
I miss a very tall plant in the corner with the baskets in your last makeover....for higher end look and for balace . As for the rest genius as usual...that room with that awkward storage over the bed ... I thought the only solution was to tear that thing off and you made it work great with that wall paper advice. 😎
He is amazing! My brain just can’t work like that! The idea to make the wall closet as a frame for the bed with wallpaper was just genius and gorgeous 😍😍
The last one is so large, it would be great to add a lounge,or a sitting area. It would really bring it upscale.
Drew, that last project...there was no space offered for personalization. Display area, books. Would have placed a corner bookshelf-cabinet to the left of the fireplace which would have rounded off that sharp corner & help de-square the room. Poufs are non-functional in that room. Suggest 2 short benches instead; sit down spot for putting on shoes or phone calls. Was blown away with your solution to the "cabinet room". Enjoy your videos.
Wassily chair by Marcel Breuer designed in 1925-1926 is the leather and chrome chair inspiration or copy. Pretty much a design classic.
Ok mr graphic design is my passion, amazing! 🗣
Love love love Sarah's room!
The hair and clothing are FABULOUS Drew Baby!!! PERFECTION!!!
Ahhh...YOU made these Bedrooms look so Inviting and Relaxing!! And YOU made the living spaces Interesting and Enjoyable!!! Awesome, Drew! 🙂
Love what you did to the first room (the small bedroom with built-ins surrounding the bed space). The second space (the newly-wed purchased condo) - what on earth is going on with the ceiling in the living room? It looks like the paint is peeling off or there are water/mold issues caused by leaking from something above (unit above?). You didn't mention it. It didn't appear in the photo of the "prior owner's" photograph of the place but it did appear in the video sent to you. The bedroom with the fireplace - lots of ways to go with a fireplace enhancement and a nice size room! I liked what you did but there didn't seem to be enough room on the side of the bed next to that large wardrobe piece to put a night stand. Also would have preferred a nice comfy cushy chair next to the fireplace even if it can't have a fire and there weren't any electric logs in it, along with a nice floor lamp and a small table to hold a glass of wine while sitting and reading. I do like the touches of French Provencial for a cozy comfy bedroom look.
********Came here to mention that the 2nd space ceiling needs attention STAT! That looks like black mold, is dangerous, and unhealthy. Please, please, please get that ceiling looked at quickly! *******
I wouldn't put blankets covering the ventilation.. i would put a tall plant
I love what you did with the wardrobe with the “swoopy”/cabriole legs. The parquet flooring is actually pronounced “parkay”....yeah like butter. 😂 Nice work!
Need more of this series Drew! So many people need your gifted touch!! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I will 100% be posting more epsiodes soon!!
@@lonefox how can we send you our spaces? I absolutely love your content.
Happy to see this back! my favorite room today was the most complex of all, the first one with that big closet over the bed!
So fun!
Beautiful Drew! I love the artist rendering and then the transformation photos… I believe Parquet is pronounced PAR-K.❤️
Ahh thank you so much!!
Came here to say this 😊
Me too. 😃
Drew, I love your videos. A verbal quirk you have is to say “these ones.” You don’t need to add ones; when referencing, for example some gorgeous knobs, you can simply say these.
@@argyle2061 😂 OMG! I hold myself back soooo many times from ‘editing’ about this often used statement! Drew is so well-spoken and such a quick thinker that when he says “these ones” it surprises me. Not everyone appreciates the ‘helpful edits’…I hope Drew takes these as they are meant to be, helpful.❤️
Drew, you are so mega talented - you nailed all the designs. I live in the UK and am a pensioner, although I am in complete denial and totally young at heart. I love your channel and am so grateful for all you share with us. Never miss a video. Many blessings xxx
Laraine, you seem wonderful! And definitely youthful through and through. Best wishes from a 21 year old Brit:)
I love that you don’t play it too safe, and always bring something unique to the table 🤍
Thanks so much Drew! You really incorporated our vision and made them work together. What a nice surprise! ❤️ from Toronto - Kim and Ian
Congrats on purchasing your home and your marriage! Loved his design, how is the redo going? I hope all went well with the incorporation of his ideas in your living room. (Room number 2) Such a cozy space! Re your vent, paint it the same color as your walls there is heat resistant paint out there. If it is a heat source, you can buy decorative wrought iron wall panels to cover it, then you don't have to deal with combustible issue. We did that with our panel until we had it taken out and a new heat source put in. There are some very affordable framed panels out there that will fit over that!
Phone not working for a few days and apt being redone without my ok as all 64 are done the same. So one of the first programs and most calming was this week's Drew therapy. Thank you, Gracious Lord!
All these renders I have been seeing different youtubers do have inspired me to get procreate to help design all my spaces! love love love the looks you came up with.
Which software do you use to design these spaces? I want to create some spaces too but I just don’t know what app or software to use.
Hi Drew, check in feng shui as it helps with the flow of the design. Big faux pas in feng shui would be for example a mirror across the door (energy is not received) or anything over your head when you sit or lie down, so cabinets over head or shelf over sofa are big no-nos.
oh. my god. the white tape on the windows. absolute GENIUS!!!! I was haviing such a struggle with the windows in the guest room. This might actually be a solution. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
I think it would be cool if you flipped a room but only with what the homeowners have. Like me. LOL!!! I’ve lots of stuff but I don’t know where to put it. All my stuff is Pottery Barn but I have no design sense or placement ability. LOL!!! Your “CGI” of the afters is amazing. Keep up the good work. You’re very talented.
What would Drew do? An AMAZING job, that's what! Love all 3 spaces.
omg did anyone notice the madhubala print at 1:24 - 1:25!!! didnt expect to see that
The condo was a wonderful reimagining for that space! From the before I thought it was not possible but you pulled it out!
I would have added a few shelves above the desk for a couple of books and small storage boxes for paperclips, pens etc. As always, you have the most amazing vision
The last space could be an appartement in the Netherlands! Love what you did to these spaces Drew ❤️
Thanks Michelle :)
I thought that too!
I’m packing my luggage, get the spare room ready!! 😉
Haha I thought the same 😂
has to be, you can see the bike parking things in front of the white house
awe man i wish i would’ve sent in a photo of my kitchen! i just moved in and it has the weirdest color combo so i’m stumped on decorating 😩
Now I wanna know the weird color combo 😂
Drew did what Drew does best, make it look fantastic. Another great job Drew.
Thank you, Drew! You've helped me tremendously in reorganizing and decorating my townhouse. It feels more like home now, whereas it was just my apartment before. Your eye and passion for makeovers are inspiring. Keep making videos!
15:04 i was like “omg pls move that bed away from the closet for the drawerssssss”
I had seen many of your videos but not this ones when you help out your subscribers. This is absolutely amazing. As someone who has no idea about design you inspire me to change my own space, whenever I get a new apartment I´m going to look through this videos again because it is incredible. Sometimes your videos inspire me to change my space and other times I would like to just hire you to do all of them.
Drew, there is a certain charm in how approachable your presence is projected in your videos. Your style is wicked fun and timeless, LOVE you. As for the grammar nazis...just do you Drew!
Parquet tiles for floors (pronounced par-KAY) were crazy popular in the 70's. People were moving into Victorian-area brownstones and older homes where there were original parquet floors, sometimes with intricately patterned borders. Love your design! Brings a modern perspective to a traditional floor treatment, and without the expense or commitment of the real thing.
Every time I watch your videos my instinct to throw my furniture away and redecorate my whole bedroom kicks in!
hahahaha
Drew, I've been watching your videos for a few days after they came up as a YT recommendation and have been enjoying them a lot but this is the one that made me subscribe. The way you do the "afters" is next level! Amazing! 👏 👏 👏
Wow..YOUNG man, YOU have real VISION!💜
This is the one I was talking about I would put the bed on the opposite wall in the desk under the cabinets. That way you could put bed tables and lamps on the side of the bed and wall hangings and the desk would fit beautifully underneath the cabinets. Love the stuff you do though
This is really cool. I like how you give each of these rooms an identity.
Damn drew!!!!!! These are amazing!! No surprise there tho! You are so talented and having been a subscriber for at least 2 years now, I can easily see how you’re really coming into your own. Your suggestions and vision for interior design are SO DAMN GOOD!
Yes, First thing is a must. Trust Drew to design for you. He has a great eye for design 🥰
I love watching your videos! I like the one you did when you hired four designers. Really fun! Thanks Drew!
These are my fav in your channel! Really helps me understand design and how your mind works.
Thank you for the quality content. You are so fun to watch in the middle of this pandemic. You've inspired me to restart diying, I forgot how fun it is. Greetings from Peru 🇵🇪
1:31 that's the famous Indian Superstar, Madhubala 😊♥️
I was looking for this comment😅
You're majic! The 3rd is my fave. But all are simply amaze.
Absolutely love each of the new designs, I do hope you do more of these videos. Thank you so much for sharing this video xxxx
More to come!
I really appreciate the quality of those renders. It really makes a huge difference understanding the design vision
I would have loved a longer view of the end results. All rooms amazing 👏
Hack for a longer view at it: pause the video
@@Robin-93904 lmao
Or play it in slow motion 🍵 🐸
Saw it better on insta so 😉😉
The quality of the renderings is amazing omg
Those renders are so nice 🤩🤩

Oh my gosh, you are just so sweet to offer this up to your fans!!! What amazing choices you made...I particularly enjoyed the last one, & how warm & cozy you made it feel. I’m a newer subscriber, but I look forward to each & every post of yours! ❤️
I'm so early!! 🙈
Love you, Drew! You're a great inspiration!
I'm going through some stressful and tough times (have been very low because of it) but your videos inspire me and I've been having fun making my apartment my own. Thank you for staying positive and doing what you do!
Aw I'm so glad to hear :) sending positive vibes!
This is fabulous Drew. You know why your channel is so popular, you stick to what you know and do what you like. Thats a huge plus plus plus for you. I am gonna send you my space too soon
So. Fun and interesting ,Drew! I'm pretty sure we all want more of these vids!
Dang this is awesome, thank you! As i continue to renovate and decorate my home this does me so much good, thanks Drew!
I love these segments so much! Great job designing and showing the true to life reveals!! So professional and rewarding to see!
I LOVE how you show a rendering of what you would do at the end! You are AMAZING at what you do!!! ❤️
I would love to see the actually makeovers of those spaces!!!Maybe you could make an episode of revealing viewers makeovers for each episode of What Would Drew Do, What Followers Actually Did 😂😂
it’s so clear how much dedication and effort into his videos
Haha so funny, that you refer to the Wassily Chair design by Marcel Breuer, Bauhaus classic from the 20s, to have 70s vibes. 😎😀
Love how these spaces turned up!! This series is really helpful for people who are going crazy searching for ideas to fix their place.❤️
Love the series “what would Drew do?”.
Love your style! First room with the wallpaper on the "closet" , so beautiful!
The parquet (par-Kay) flooring is a great idea.
All the rooms turned out great! Desenio also have a gallery wall tool on their website where you can play around with different prints so they look good together before purchaseing them
Thank you Drew! In two weeks I am moving into a "furnished" apartment in Istanbul. Rentals are filled with IKEA wardrobes and furniture. I love your ideas. I will take before and after pictures and send to you (I will add Turkish and Persian rugs, baskets, and vases to complete the look I want.)
Just when I think, surely, you cannot get any more creative, but it never ends. Loving all of it, and so excited for more videos and tips :D
You are soooo talented! I really hope all your design career dreams come true!!
Awesome video! I love the upgraded photo rendering you have included in these videos, it really looks AMAZING.
I loved all of the rooms, I can’t pick a favourite! Going to head over to the Desenio website now.
Thanks so much!
I love all of these fabulous makeovers! Thanks, Drew, for sharing your vision with us.
Would love to see responses of the ppl you helped and a follow up of what they actually did with video or pictures would be awesome!
i love your videos and sharing ideas and techniques. you're so enthusiastic, it's contagious!
Drew, love your videos. Would you do a follow up video on to see if they took up your design ideas and what have they done to their rooms later?
You made each space look so nice! I would love to have your vision and ability to design. Thank you for sharing your gift on RUclips.
The last one is so art Deco and I love love love it
One word:
Fabulous
i liked the very first one. A very serene room and classy. Drew style is so classy.
I have an open concept living space with 5 different rooms. I used different shades of the similar color for each room. People find it difficult to tell until I point it out. The green from outside darkens the walls in different rooms. The different shades fixed the influence from outside. So sticking to just one color to unify the open concept rooms sometimes does not work and will actually be distracting.
Example being….the kitchen is darker than the family room despite being next to each other. Shade from the fruit trees darkens the kitchen. The family room has a darker green hue from the reflection of the evergreen tres bouncing inside. So… I painted the kitchen a darker color than the family room which is right next to each other. One cannot really tell and comes across as the same color. So even though it is the same space, different tones of basically similar colors can unify the space than if you just used the same paint color.
Love this series of video please do more! I’ll be moving into my first brought home next year hopefully and having these ideas is so helpful x
Beautiful. I’m a big yes on the controversial chrome and leather chair- with the parquet, getting major 70s vibes and it’s a look! ❤️
All of them are amazing!! Especially the wallpaper hack. GENIUS.
Wow, that's fantasic improvements! Thank you for inspiration!
Love these!! Great work! I wonder if, when the entrants complete the room, if we couldn’t have a before (rendering) and after (decorated space)?
love your energy Drew!! Thanks for making a wonderful informative video, hope to see more from you!!!
You did a wonderful job on all of them. Hard to pick a favorite!!!
