Man, I miss Dave, so fuckin much. No one can or will replace him. But Mike is a much better live vocalist. Too often Dave ended up virtually rambling in tune. You understand Mike perfectly. Dave's missed, but Mike is arguably the best ever replacement frontman IMO. He is the perfect progression.

I've always liked Mike's vocals, and I agree, live he has been ripping it up , but all the band members do, I have never been let down in ANY of their performances I had the great honor of witnessing live. But I miss Dave's monster voice AFUCKINWHOLELOT !!!! And it's getting to be more and more, I need that monster sounding Antarctican Jibberish mixed in with the clarity of the words if that makes any sense? And it can't just be any cookie monster voice from the metal bands of today, it's gotta be at least close to Dave's deep dark infrasound gurggle baritone shout that sticks to your bones and needs the dialect, Mike is got that dialect part down really good, but I need it just a octave or two lower to drive it home like "yeah, that's that fucking evil voice that makes me want to decimate a city with Gor Gor as I feast on the disemboweled enslaved." And Also that silly deep Doo Woppy smooth condescending less serious sounding voice only Oderous can make while singing the punchline of a joke in the song or making something horrible kinda charmingly funny in some strange way. I'm not a musician so not sure if any of that even came close to making sense to anyone , but that alien monster's voice always makes me feel better no matter how sad or angry I was throughout the decades, that son of a bitch sounded darker and darker every god damn album and he could just switch back and forth with it , I haven't the first clue how many cigs or how much crack you would need to smoke to get that articulate with it, lol . HAIL DAVE, HAIL ODEROUS ! Sad whale baby ! I know it's not fair and unrealistic but I've been hoping Mike eventually knocks all the rust outta his vocal cords and it just starts sounding like that from singing all the dif Gwar songs after a while, maybe that's how it happens to make your monster sounding voice get darker and more evil sounding ??? I've been getting a hint of it happening the more I hear Blothar sing the older stuff maybe its just me, idk, regardless HAIL GWAR !!!!!!!!!! And where the fuck is Sleazy !?! They need the krack-zooka before they start smoking too much pot and doing drum circles !
