hi, Ellen... I am a beginner in guitar... I started from level zero without lesson, all your video helped me a lot, I had subscribed to your channel for some time now and I wanted to let you know that I watched alllll your TMT videos and many of the songs videos that you made. I want to encourage you to continue to make more videos to help more people like me... I like how your video is so meticulous from which strings to strum on which note to step by step strumming... I have improved to be able to play a few simple songs. however my strumming still sucks after much practice, I always made mistakes or missed a up or down stroke during the song and my friend told me that my wrist and fingers are not relax enough. Could you make a video on strumming maybe like TMT #9 or something to help me and some others who is struggling with strumming. Thank you very much.

I just wanted to say that I think you are doing a wonderful job teaching the basic fundamentals of guitar playing. One recommendation that I would make to you is to use the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fingers for your G chord. The reason is to be able to quickly move to the G7 chord if needed such as in the old song "La Bamba" (C, F, G, G7, C, F, G) 7th chords are generally transitional chords between two chords. This may be a little advanced for this lesson, but I just wanted to throw in my two cents.

I used to do the G the way you do and a friend thaught me that the better way is to use the last 3 fingers. If you use your little finger instead for the G chord it is easier for the transitions and it is much faster once you acquire the muscle memory for it.
