"Forgiveness robs you of your happiness." Forgiveness is for the forgiven, but also for you. When we hold onto bitterness and negative thoughts in our minds, it slows us down and affects our judgment. The fact is we are limited beings. We need sleep and food to survive, we can be in only one place at a time, and we have only so much mental strength in our minds. Not an unlimited ability. We need to choose wisely how we use our mental strength for each day. Reframe negative thoughts, encourage yourself and others, and certainly, forgive others.
