Ben is my favorite artist and I had the same reactions as you. The album is so sweet but it makes me painfully aware of how single I am 🥲
Honestly I didn’t notice the 4 seconds of silence until your video. It has to be a stylistic choice, though. I feel like it’s so that the listener has a brief moment to reflection on their emotions/thoughts on the songs. I know I definitely did 😂

heyyyy! I just finished watching your reaction to madison beer’s album silence between songs, and I’m not sure if you’ve taken a listen to anything else by her, but I would LOVE to see a reaction to her debut EP as she pleases, and also her debut album life support! For context, ASP has a great sound, however the writing isn’t SUPER in depth due to most of them not being written by madison herself. She sounds incredible though! On LS though, she wrote on all 17 tracks and co produced 16 out of the 17 tracks. In this album, it’s definitely where she found more of her sound, and also it is somewhat of a concept album, sort of switching between feelings in the songs as it goes on, mainly inspired by madison being diagnosed with BPD and wanting to sorta demonstrate that idea in an album form! In the LS reaction (if you make one), I would suggest listening to her song Dear Society FIRST, then getting into Life Support. I hope you are able to see this and check them both out! I really love his 2nd album revive and the first one also - although it wasn't as catchy as the first one - but he never failed to deliver
