Amazing; a photographer wordlessly using and older camera that they know well, rather than some shill trying to sell the latest model! Excellent advertisement of what photography really should be; taking photos
Wow I had this LX7 in an open box, a year after release over a decade ago. Got it for only $150 back then. I barely use it since. After watching this video, I have a new found love for it. I’ll bring it to Japan this October. Beautiful pics to follow..❤
wow i love how you capture details that normally would be missed by the human eye! the composition of your photos is *chef's kiss* subscribing and following your ig now :)
Your photos are great. I'm debating between the LX7, RX100m3, and ZV-1. I don't shoot video, just photos. I like vintage colors. Please recommend. I wrote this with a translator, so the translation may not be very good.
The only problem I found with this camera was the was of low resolution back screen. Hence when you preview it looks not that great. But I was surprised when I first time looked it in my computer screen.
That's a difficult decision. The Sony clearly has the better autofocus. So if you take a lot of photos of people or moving objects, I would go for the Sony. Otherwise, I would base it on the price.
I have both. The RX100 is a later release so is technically better overall especially for autofocus and sensor, but the RX7 somehow feels like more of a photographers' camera and I use it more within my advanced compacts (an LX7, two RX100s, and an Olympus Stylus 1). I'd also look at the RX100 mk 4 or mk 5 over the mk 3 if video is important as there's a big step up. After the Mk 5 the RX100 lens gets worse IMO (longer reach, but slower glass - which I think they did to compete with mobile phones at the expense of photographers looking for something more compact than their FF or APSC).
Please more these with LX7 😍

If you can find a cheap LX7, I would take it. The Sonys have too many video specs that you pay for and don't need.
@@pixelkiez ok thank you!!
Amazing photos. Can you share what setting did you use for the LX7?
Thank you. I use Mode A. AF-S and Iso Auto.
Would love to know your settings on the LX7 !!
I use mostly the aperture priotity mode & AF-C. Iso Auto

Yes, don't let that fool you. The displays weren't the best back then.
