I had a problem with Lauren Daigle's ignorance and denying the WORD of God, not her desire to share her faith with non-believers in secular environments. After all, that is precisely what Christians are specifically called to do. God's Living WORD doesn't change. Jesus Christ Himself is literally the Living WORD of God. (John 14) He is not to be denied. How can a brain surgeon speak at a medical conference, yet not know his subject matter? How can Lauren Daigle represent the WORD of the Living God, Jesus Christ, without studying; and knowing, the basics of His life-saving teachings? Compromise with the secular world and the devil separates us from God Himself. There will be an astronomical amount of good, loving people who will not go to Heaven because they did not accept the TRUTH, the Living WORD, Jesus Christ. The Bible says to choose this day whom you will serve. What if God allowed Lauren Daigle these open-door opportunities to take a bold stand 'IN LOVE'...REAL LOVE, yet she walked away from the very mission God called her to, and they ended up spending an eternity in hell and damnation? If you really love them, TELL THEM THE TRUTH. That is how you participate in saving a life destined for the eternal Lake of Fire.

I have a proclaimed Gay son. I love him with all my heart, I will always be there for him. However, that doesn't change that the word of God says he is living in sin. I pray for him everyday. I feel the same way about all homosexuals.

You are disappointed in a human. Fun fact: we humans are ALL sinners, and you should never put you faith/trust in man. She is learning and growing just as we all are, and her hesitation at answering may be because she has struggled with not wanting to turn people away from God. Their hearts are not for her to control. But we ARE to love with grace and forgiveness, just like Jesus did. You have no idea of the power in that and how God will use imperfect people.
Her music touched me at my most darkest hour. Her songs, 'You Say' and 'Rescue' were words that drew me (a pagan of 31 years, and a pagan priest of 27 years) to Christ. Praise God for the penetrative Grace of God through music.

If Christians spent half their time doing what Jesus called us to do instead of judging one another, we might have seen the world saved sevent times over.
As you said, when Christians do what Jesus called us to do, part of it is to discern (with the help of God's Spirit) what's true and what isn't. God calls us to not judge in hypocrisy, but He also warns us about false teachers who will lead people astray. Unfortunately, many still judge with a holier-than-thou attitude, but judging in itself isn't the problem. We HAVE to judge what's right and wrong if we need to avoid the latter, and to warn those we care about as well. If we simply aim to please people and not hurt their feelings when they're on their way to self-destruction, you're only saving yourself by being a people pleaser. We're called to look out for each other in love and truth- and that includes calling something or someone out if it isn't biblical.

I remember all the negative comments she was getting from the "christian" community after she'd appeared on those shows. Instead of bashing her faith, the Christian community should have been praying for her spiritual growth and boldness to proclaim the truth of God's Word. I love her voice and her music, and I continue to pray for her as mentioned above, along with my family, friends, and myself. We are all God's works in progress. Let's pray for one another and stop the critical judgment and hate. May God continue to bless her and anoint her music and voice to reach lost souls.

Yes, she fell short with her early mainstream television appearances; but that is why we pray for her as I said above. Did we not learn anything when reading our Bible?! Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick" in Mark 2:17, Luke 5:31-32, and Matthew 9:12 Jesus is responding to a question from the Pharisees about why he is eating with tax collectors and other people considered "sinners". Jesus tells the Pharisees to learn the meaning of the scripture that says God desires mercy, not sacrifice, and that he has come to call sinners, not the righteous. Maybe some ought to read it over and over.

My biggest takeaway from this was that people are so quick to judge someone. She is my age. She may not be a seasoned Christian. She still has a lot to learn. Being a Christian is a constant walk with Christ. It's not a "I'm going to follow Christ and know everything today". Being a Christian is being on a battlefield with just you and God.

A Christian is someone who believes in, and follows Christ. When we judge someone because they don't 'follow' Christ or believe the way we think they should, that is certainly not Christ-like behavior.
It tells us in the Bible, judge not lest you too shall be judged. Jesus himself did many things the heads of the religious sect didn't approve of, if you remember, that's what got him crucified. He also told the over zealous men that were going to stone the woman, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. There seems to be a great many of the over zealous casting stones on here. In John 4 is the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. She had 5 previous husbands and she was not married to man she lived with now. Yet Jesus revealed himself as Messiah to her. Not only that, but He used her to spread the message about Him in the village. She believed Him, and many villagers believed her testimony, and many others went out to hear Him, and they too Believed. If anybody asked her any theological questions, she may not have got them right, but that did not stop Jesus from using her. Jesus said they will know you are my disciples as show love to one another. I appreciate her ministry, and I would give her room and time to grow. Bless the Lord!
Doesn’t the Bible tell us the heart is deceitful above all things so no sense trying to judge that lol We as Christians are not to judge the world - Jesus will do that. But we are to hold brothers and sisters in Christ to account - as per the apostle Paul - and we are to love them. So my opinion is that when you have a platform such as she does , she bears a greater responsibility for her influence. So I understand why some Christians are upset with her ambiguous and deflecting answers in interviews.

Exactly right!🎉 Just because someone loves singing about the Lord, talks about God and her beautiful music encourages millions, that doesn't mean they have accepted Christ as their Savior. Even Satan believes in God. People think they just have to be a 'good person' and that's far from the Truth! I'd like to watch a video of Lauren actually saying she prayed and accepted Christ as her Savior at a certain time in her life! A true Born-again Christian may not remember the exact date, but they can recall the place and around the time it was; what led them to call in the Lord to forgive them and to give their lives to Him. I hope people understand what I'm saying. I love her music just as others do but I pray there was a day in her life that she prayed and gave her life to Him! The fact that she has the courage to sing about God is powerful in and of itself. Plus, remember when the Pharisees tested Jesus by asking if He felt the tax was right? and He responded by saying, "repay to God what belongs to God, and to Caesar what belongs to Caesar"? They attempted to trap Him, and He wisely outsmarted them. Lauren Daigle did the same thing. As a 13-year-old Catholic, this woman has played an enormous part in transforming the way I feel about God. She is a child of God, and no one is in a position to judge otherwise.

I don't know if she's been born again but many artists may Say this or that or sing this or that but are you knowing these people as Real depth in loving Christ in their hearts? I had seen Daigle and loved the worship music when first started and saw promise for This avenue for or her growth growing in this realm. But I unknowingly seen her in this transformation that the evil in this world had contaminated her beliefs. Loving in the world is one thing but loving the world is another. I actually knew Pastor Chris Hodges when he was a youth pastor at the now disgraced New Life Church in Colorado Springs.Thirty years ago, my friend Jessica shared a very disturbing & convincing story with me about him & her when he was her youth pastor. The only thing I can say is to never leave your young daughters around him.
Wow, so many here said they weren’t judging Lauren while criticizing her lack of actions they believed she should do. I’m not sure if these people came from growing up in church or in the streets. But I can say that when I came to have a personal experience with Christ much changed immediately, and much took several years to change. And now even as a minister of the Gospel I still find myself growing and evolving into what Christ wants me to be. I’m not perfect and short of the time I end up in heaven I will not be perfect. I just remember what Jesus said to the Pharisees in John 8:7-11 “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first”. That applies to believers and non-believers. If you happen to be perfect God bless you. I’m reminded of what Isaiah said in 64:6 (NIV) 6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind, our sins sweep us away”. The Bible actually does tell us to judge other Christian’s. We are not to judge unbelievers. You can’t be a Christian and be neutral. There is good and there is evil, there is light and there is dark. If you are neutral, than you are lukewarm.

Precious moments were missed to stand strong in her faith, while still showing respect towards her new circle of friends within the gay community. She failed, therefore her faith has faded and needs reflection, as we pray she is guided back to a place of courage to speak God's truth in these areas of life.

James 4:11-12 11 Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.
Unlike many Christian’s, I WILL JUDGE based on the Word of God. To judge someone is to form an opinion or conclusion about someone. It is literally foolish not to judge people. It’s how we operate in daily living. If you make poor judgements on persons you suffer harm or loss. Make good ones and you gain in many different ways. Modern day society has made people fearful of being frank and calling a spade a spade. Deceit is subtle and it’s being presented in society as ‘polite’ and ‘loving’ My judgment on any Christian who denies God’s word or doesn’t stand firm on it is that they are lost souls. At the end of the day that judgement helps me in prayer for them. If I am confused then how will I pray sensibly before God or even make choices regarding the person. When Christians begin to question God’s word like Eve did… then it’s a dangerous path and one to be fully aware of. Lauryn Daigle, in my judgement, is not a believer in Christ. I have many ‘friends’ who speak the same way as she does in interviews and behaves just like the world. There is little care for God and the opinion of man and pleasing self is prioritized. I’ve had to stop having Biblical conversations with unsaved people posing as Christians because of that soft whisper inside saying I am misleading them into thinking they are safe when they are not. It’s as if I am confirming their deception just as the rainbow people demanding confirmation by those who know what is truth. A true child of God is committing grave sin when they encourage deceit. There is a staunch difference with ‘loving’ God and obeying Him. The ‘love’ this world means is feeling positively towards God while obedience is following God regardless of feelings. God said if you love me, keep my commandments. It will always be easy to feel positive towards God with the softened misleading messages many believers share. There will always be blunt and open hate for God when His true words on sin, hell and Jesus Christ as Lord is taught. Do not be deceived. Fear God rather than man. Whatever the world offers destroys you. It’s never worth it. Jesus is the ONLY way, truth and life. Everything else leads to destruction. And no, there is no middle ground in the Word of God.
I love Lauren, And we all face this, I love everyone as God loves us. She is doing well trying to reach all people no matter what they think they are or not. Christians are trying to reach a bigger platform. You do the right thing and spread the Gospel and share the Good News. All sin is the same but it is not our right to judge as that's only Gods Job. I don't understand why we sometimes have such an ugly judgmental opinions of one another. When looking at others, it should be with love. Christ is our example in how we treat and think of others. I have a problem as a Jewish Christian with anyone pointing their imperfect finger in the eye of someone else who is also imperfect and never claimed to be perfect with all the answers. Jesus is perfect. I think that Lauren has been honest with her faith and it is a personal walk that each one has with God. God doesn't say don't love other people on the contrary He states to love one another as I have you. Don't judge a person's faith or heart lest you be judged. Let me say that I am very impressed with Lauren Daigle‘s music, her voice, delivery, are very very good, she is so talented, rich in her ability to sing and inspire, Incredible lyrics, and composition. She is pretty and attractive. As they say on American Idol, which she was in three? times, “your the total package.” Says she’s “confused” about homosexuality as a sin and, has many friends who are gay. Pray that she comes to the knowledge of the truth as set forth by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. I had a problem with Lauren Daigle's ignorance and denying the WORD of God, not her desire to share her faith with non-believers in secular environments. After all, that is precisely what Christians are specifically called to do.
God's Living WORD doesn't change. Jesus Christ Himself is literally the Living WORD of God. (John 14) He is not to be denied. How can a brain surgeon speak at a medical conference, yet not know his subject matter? How can Lauren Daigle represent the WORD of the Living God, Jesus Christ, without studying; and knowing, the basics of His life-saving teachings? Compromise with the secular world and the devil separates us from God Himself.
There will be an astronomical amount of good, loving people who will not go to Heaven because they did not accept the TRUTH, the Living WORD, Jesus Christ. The Bible says to choose this day whom you will serve.
What if God allowed Lauren Daigle these open-door opportunities to take a bold stand 'IN LOVE'...REAL LOVE, yet she walked away from the very mission God called her to, and they ended up spending an eternity in hell and damnation? As you said, when Christians do what Jesus called us to do, part of it is to discern (with the help of God's Spirit) what's true and what isn't. God calls us to not judge in hypocrisy, but He also warns us about false teachers who will lead people astray. Unfortunately, many still judge with a holier-than-thou attitude, but judging in itself isn't the problem. We HAVE to judge what's right and wrong if we need to avoid the latter, and to warn those we care about as well. If we simply aim to please people and not hurt their feelings when they're on their way to self-destruction, you're only saving yourself by being a people pleaser. We're called to look out for each other in love and truth- and that includes calling something or someone out if it isn't biblical.
The real question is what have you done to lead someone to come to know GOD today? If one was to focus on being a light instead of trying to draw lines to cause division Bless your heart!!!!

A Christian is someone who believes in, and follows Christ. When we judge someone because they don't 'follow' Christ or believe the way we think they should, that is certainly not Christ-like behavior.
It tells us in the Bible, judge not lest you too shall be judged. Jesus himself did many things the heads of the religious sect didn't approve of, if you remember, that's what got him crucified. He also told the over zealous men that were going to stone the woman, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. There seems to be a great many of the over zealous casting stones on here. The biggest thing I take away from Gods word is YOU love thy neighbor as yourself and let Him take care of the judging part. In John 4 is the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. She had 5 previous husbands and she was not married to man she lived with now. Yet Jesus revealed himself as Messiah to her. Not only that, but He used her to spread the message about Him in the village. She believed Him, and many villagers believed her testimony, and many others went out to hear Him, and they too Believed. If anybody asked her any theological questions, she may not have got them right, but that did not stop Jesus from using her. Jesus said they will know you are my disciples as show love to one another. I appreciate her ministry, and I would give her room and time to grow. Bless the Lord!

We as Christians are not to judge the world - Jesus will do that. But we are to hold brothers and sisters in Christ to account - as per the apostle Paul - and we are to love them. So my opinion is that when you have a platform such as she does , she bears a greater responsibility for her influence. So I understand why some Christians are upset with her ambiguous and deflecting answers in interviews.

Even Satan believes in God. People think they just have to be a 'good person' and that's far from the Truth! I'd like to watch a video of Lauren actually saying she prayed and accepted Christ as her Savior at a certain time in her life! A true Born-again Christian may not remember the exact date, but they can recall the place and around the time it was; what led them to call in the Lord to forgive them and to give their lives to Him. I don't know if she's been born again but many artists may Say this or that or sing this or that but are you knowing these people as Real depth in loving Christ in their hearts? I had seen Daigle and loved the worship music when first started and saw promise for This avenue for or her growth growing in this realm. But I unknowingly seen her in this transformation that the evil in this world had contaminated her beliefs. Loving in the world is one thing but loving the world is another. Remember what Jesus said u cannot love the world and love or live for Him, it's not possible.
just because someone is a a christian singer that YALL made famous doesn't mean she has to have all the answers and never sin. Wow, so many here said they weren’t judging Lauren while criticizing her lack of actions they believed she should do. I’m not sure if these people came from growing up in church or in the streets. But I can say that when I came to have a personal experience with Christ much changed immediately, and much took several years to change. And now even as a minister of the Gospel I still find myself growing and evolving into what Christ wants me to be. I’m not perfect and short of the time I end up in heaven I will not be perfect.
I just remember what Jesus said to the Pharisees in John 8:7-11 “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first”. That applies to believers and non-believers. If you happen to be perfect God bless you. I’m reminded of what Isaiah said in 64:6 (NIV) 6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind, our sins sweep us away”. The Bible actually does tell us to judge other Christian’s. We are not to judge unbelievers. You can’t be a Christian and be neutral. There is good and there is evil, there is light and there is dark. If you are neutral, than you are lukewarm.

Precious moments were missed to stand strong in her faith, while still showing respect towards her new circle of friends within the gay community. She failed, therefore her faith has faded and needs reflection, as we pray she is guided back to a place of courage to speak God's truth in these areas of life.

Unlike many Christian’s, I WILL JUDGE based on the Word of God. To judge someone is to form an opinion or conclusion about someone. It is literally foolish not to judge people. It’s how we operate in daily living. If you make poor judgements on persons you suffer harm or loss. Make good ones and you gain in many different ways. Modern day society has made people fearful of being frank and calling a spade a spade. Deceit is subtle and it’s being presented in society as ‘polite’ and ‘loving’
My judgment on any Christian who denies God’s word or doesn’t stand firm on it is that they are lost souls. At the end of the day that judgement helps me in prayer for them. If I am confused then how will I pray sensibly before God or even make choices regarding the person. When Christians begin to question God’s word like Eve did… then it’s a dangerous path and one to be fully aware of.
Lauryn Daigle, in my judgement, is not a believer in Christ. I have many ‘friends’ who speak the same way as she does in interviews and behaves just like the world. There is little care for God and the opinion of man and pleasing self is prioritized. I’ve had to stop having Biblical conversations with unsaved people posing as Christians because of that soft whisper inside saying I am misleading them into thinking they are safe when they are not. It’s as if I am confirming their deception just as the rainbow people demanding confirmation by those who know what is truth. A true child of God is committing grave sin when they encourage deceit. There is a staunch difference with ‘loving’ God and obeying Him. The ‘love’ this world means is feeling positively towards God while obedience is following God regardless of feelings. God said if you love me, keep my commandments.
It will always be easy to feel positive towards God with the softened misleading messages many believers share. There will always be blunt and open hate for God when His true words on sin, hell and Jesus Christ as Lord is taught.
Do not be deceived. Fear God rather than man. Whatever the world offers destroys you. It’s never worth it.
Jesus is the ONLY way, truth and life. Everything else leads to destruction. And no, there is no middle ground in the Word of God.
I love Lauren, And we all face this, I love everyone as God loves us. She is doing well trying to reach all people no matter what they think they are or not. Christians are trying to reach a bigger platform. You do the right thing and spread the Gospel and share the Good News.

I don't understand why we sometimes have such an ugly judgmental opinions of one another. When looking at others, it should be with love. Christ is our example in how we treat and think of others. God the father used her song "Rescue" as a direct answer to a prayer. I literally cried out to him "I am sending out an SOS" in my prayer. This song played IMMEDIATELY after this prayer. He directly answered me using her song.
I have a problem as a Jewish Christian with anyone pointing their imperfect finger in the eye of someone else who is also imperfect and never claimed to be perfect with all the answers. Jesus is perfect. I think that Lauren has been honest with her faith and it is a personal walk that each one has with God. God doesn't say don't love other people on the contrary He states to love one another as I have you. Don't judge a person's faith or heart lest you be judged. All sin is equal in the sight of The Lord be it cheating on your wife, murder, homosexuality, hate or the sins you don't even know you are committing Jesus came to settle that all. I think Lauren is perfectly clear on her faith. So all who decide to be The Judge I would not want to be you all when you get before God on the day you meet Jesus for He will ask what did you do with all that I have given you and one of those things being given was love and so much God gave His only Begotten Son. Let me say that I am very impressed with Lauren Daigle‘s music, her voice, delivery, are very very good, she is so talented, rich in her ability to sing and inspire, Incredible lyrics, and composition. She is pretty and attractive. As they say on American Idol, which she was in three? times, “your the total package.” Says she’s “confused” about homosexuality as a sin and, has many friends who are gay. Pray that she comes to the knowledge of the truth as set forth by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. I’m going to stop right there and not reveal what I feel like the Holy Spirit is saying to me as it wouldn’t be appropriate at this time. We live in such confusing times. Come Lord Jesus.
