Parents just dont realize how much of the digital age we have entered, they dont see value in art to keep you financially stable because they want to see you succeed...but its not from a bad place

Im becoming a computer programming strictly bc of the money. I actually wanted to a singer or a dancer but oh well. Guess when youre from a immigrant family you dont have much room to go for hobby jobs

You go girl! I’m rooting for you. My story is kind of the same, I studied law because my family wanted me to have a degree in something that would guarantee me a job. But I always enjoyed creating art, I’ve now decided to pursue it and I’ve gotten much happier going after my dream.

It really is therapeutic, but not depending upon how much talent you have, it's the attitude you have while making art
it's indeed therapeutic. i used to only do oil painting on landscapes but started to do fanarts with watercolour this year. i've always told myself that i can't draw living things but lately, all i've been drawing was fanarts of my fav idols ^^ still need a lot of improvement but it's seriously fun to see how much i've progressed from being a noob in watercolour and drawing people to something more decent in less than a year. keep practicing and enjoy the process ^^

Norela Turcios well clip studio paint is clearly only available on the samsung store so of course she has to use it. That’s not to say she doesn’t have an iphone lying around or that samsung is actually better

the stress i've had from my art has been so drastic over the years sometimes it even hinders my capabilities in improving...

I second the recommendation of keeping your old stuff to see how much you’ve progressed/where you can go. I was able to read a poem to my childhood hero as a result of that!
I am glad I watched this video because it inspires me to restart my old hobby . I used to draw a lot in my childhood days . Since I became adult & walked different career pathway, my drawing skill was rusted. I am struggling in drawing digitally even more . I don’t know how to start & where to learn. If you are starting online painting class , I want to enroll .
I love clip studio paint so much for digital drawing, I'm so tempted to upgrade to the Note20 to be able to use it on the go
I too believed that having a career in art would not take me far in life. That fear of not succeeding or meeting the "expectations" ate me up. Here I am, creating 3D art. :D
