"The Landor", brings back great memories when I first flew with BA.
Air New Zealand have had some colourful liverys over the years.
Plus there would be even more to cover if they also covered TEAL (now Air NZ international service) and NAC (now Air NZ domestic jet service). If they wanted to stretch it out even further they could cover the recently defunct subsidiaries Air New Zealand Link, Mount Cook Airline, Air Nelson or the defunct budget brand Freedom Air.
The Landor scheme will always be my favorite BA livery. Would love to see a video on the United liveries.

Yes their dark grey livery does need explaining. Also for a short time united had a big sign up at London’s Heathrow Airport. The sign said “United Airlines of the United Kingdom. Well blow me away. I thought United Airlines was a United States carrier. So what was this larger than life sign about. I’m not one to read too much into this. But it has stayed in my mind. Marketing or politics?!
The BOAC livery was the classiest of the lot. Bring it back please!

The Landor livery is hands down one of the most beautiful liveries an airline can have.
the 1980s one is the nicest ever, looked great with the 747-200 too
The Landor Livery applied to the 747s and Concordes were the best liveries. They weren't too overwhelming, and the livery was used during a prosperous time for the airline. The livery can be associated with that nostalgic feeling. They were also bright, colourful, and the speedtail and speedbirds were innovative
Great video, thanks! I'd love to see one on QANTAS liveries, especially as many non-Australians don't know a lot about the airline's history, or its unique operations.
I remember having a toy model of the Concorde with the Landor livery. Excellent video! Honestly happy to see what suggestion folks come up with next but I suppose one I'm curious about is Qantas
I still have that exact model Concorde and just brought it up finding it 3 weeks ago!

I don't think I have mine, it's been years but I remember as a kid getting a tiny little hardback book as a goodie on a flight that had all the airlines at the time and their tail fins drawn and whenever I'd go to the airport I'd use it to point out the planes through the windows. Hopefully I still have that around somewhere..

It's a toss-up for me between the Landor livery and the current livery. I like the speed logo of the current livery. It's exactly what a logo should be - simple, elegant and instantly recognizable. The tailfin design of the Landor livery I just love. That quartered Union Jack fit the shape of the stabiliser so perfectly.
I'd love to see a livery evolution video for Delta Air Lines. They've had so many liveries prior to their merger with Northwest. I'd love to know the history behind it.
I love the Landor livery. It really says that this is a prestige airline, and crates the impression that you are going to be well looked after. Sadly, given the cost cutting over the past 10 years, this is certainly not the level of service BA offer any more.

The landor livery is just absolutely amazing, it’s simple but VERY effective, idk what it is but it is 100% their best livery
Landor for me. I remember watching the BA 747s landing in Cape Town and they always looked so good. The Utopia series was a disaster, did whoever come up with that idea get sacked?

The current is my favorite as it is very nostalgic for me as it was the very first British airways livery I saw in person.
Fantastic airline, stunning aircraft and some truly iconic liveries. Landor is my favourite of all time but I like the retro BOAC design as well.
Delta have had a few liveries in recent years. Would be good to see the history of those changes.

Lets just imagine the A380 came earlier and see it in some of this classic lyvery.
A lot of Flag carriers don't change their liveries for a long time (American) , and often have only small changes (Qantas, Air France, KLM). Airlines that make larger changes would be the likes of Air Canada, Aer Lingus, Delta and Lufthansa* (barely*)

Flew with a 747-200 Landor from LGW to MIA when i was 3 years.
Only remember the big muffs you now call headsets.

British airways has very interesting liveries. Their designs such as speed bird are also nice. I recently built a LEGO speedbird.
The Landor captured my heart since the design is so royal and regal looking.
And may I suggest about Garuda Indonesia's livery for the next video? The flagship of Indonesia has a rich history from it's beginning 😁😁

Why not do a vid to include airlines that predated and merged with others to create today’s airlines. ie USAir. USAirways. Piedmont. PSA. Empire. Allegheny etc. now AA.

While the Landor was a great livery. Thier current one is still top notch and still fresh even 24 years later.
