- In the past century we’ve seen air travel evolve immensely.
From how fast we can fly, to how far we can go, a lot has changed.
While a lot of our content has been on the aircraft themselves, in this video, we wanted to take you on a journey through time through the evolution of airline logos, starting with some European carriers…

Yep
TAP, SAS, Sabena, Swissair/Swiss, LOT, TAROM, JAT, Austrian.... So many so many other options...
And Finnair, one of the oldest still existing airlines in the world.
@@vmkunnari correct!
Yes and much others just the main ones for this video.
Also Asian airlines, please.
and Turkish Airlines has the world's 4th largest flight network.
Great video on the evolution of airline logos. Nice visuals used and very thorough explanation. 👌
We'd like to see a part 2 but with other European airlines eg. LOT, Swiss, Norwegian, Ryanair, Easy Jet, Wizzair, Finnair, Turkish Airlines, Austrian, SAS, TAP, European airlines aren't just limited to British Airways and Air France. Good video though.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB

Great video. Can't wait for more like this
Great video! Love your content!
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB
The most craziest logo ever is of Hawaiian Airlines with multiple shades of colours. 2nd is the Etihad new logo which more or less seems like a Google geometric wallpaper .
Please do Finnair! They have some iconic logos!
Yes would love to see much more diverse set of airlines
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
Keep it up! Judging from comments many want to see more of these old school logos!

Yes..., I too would like more videos about airline logos. This video was refreshing change from your past format. And please don’t forget the logos of the historical airlines no longer serving us like Pan Am, BOAC, Western, TWA, BEA, Northwest Orient, Eastern, and Continental to name just a few. Thanks!!!
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
Looking forward for the Asian Edition. Nice video btw! ;)
very interesting video
I genuinely enjoyed this, but in future could you have the to/from years under the logos and maybe just hold for a couple of seconds before moving on.
just pause the video or set the playback speed to 0.25x
Very nice, please do more
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB
Do this like weekly!
Yes Yes Yes !! More of these logos please 😍
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB
Definitely found this interesting. Many more airlines I can think of that have gone through a few different logos both in the Us, Asia and Oceania (Qantas, United and JAL spring to mind)
Great video as ever though I would like to point out that the "crevette" logo from Air France never left the scene and it is even back with the new "la crevette air france logo" that you can admire on some B777 A330 and A32F aircraft, as well as the come back of baptism name on the side of the aircraft. A great feature signed by Ben Smith him self (CEO of AFKLM) he can be proud of that, it's handsome!!
Fantastic video! That was a really interesting topic! Could you please do logo evolutions for US airlines? Thanks!
Asia ones need this (put them in same category)
--- TAC (Thai airways domestic) ---
1. First one with the elephant head
2. Newer(lotus flower) one
--- Thai Airways International ---
1. Dancing man
2. Current one but different color
3. Current one with current color
Yes, more logo videos please
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB
@@SimpleFlyingNews Can't wait for more of these videos!!!
You should keep making this type of logo presantation videos with other airlines such from North America and Middle East. It's really nice to see older verisons of logos.
More videos about logos please!
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
You may have struck video gold with airline livery advancements/updates?! I would certainly enjoy learning more 👍😎😀
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB

I liked BA used their old airline logos again
I would like to see more of these kind of videos.
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
@@SimpleFlyingNews My pleasure.
Going back in years b4 British Airways remember BOAC ⬅
I could watch a one hour video about all of the airline logos (including history etc) of even the most obscure and defunct airlines.
Thai airways must be interesting!
More please!
Definitely more even do a couple videos on legacy carriers such as braniff, eastern, pan am, twa etc
FINNAIR
Yes I would like to see more.
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
I would love to see Aer Lingus evolution! ☘️
It'd be great if you could do the Aer Lingus shamrock!
I second this!
Wow so early!!!
Do one for airlines in the United States
More please! I'm looking forward to the Asian Carriers version
More is definitely in order. As I consider this the first instalment covering a mere fraction of European carriers. What about Asia, Africa, Pacific carriers and The Americas? One would for At least a 1/2 dz. more segments. Thanks...
So you going to do the American version like pan am, T.W.A, American airways and united to name a few.
If we throw in Canadian airlines, I'd love to see one on Canadian Pacific and Canadian Airlines and Air Canada too
Air India. Indian Airlines. Pakistan International airlines.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB
Many logos (beyond airlines) are now driven by how clear they appear on mobile devices. In the future, I think we’ll look back at all these bold, borderless logos as being strongly identifiable to a point in time; similar to how some things are instantly recognisable as being from the 70s
Do more please 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB
Simple Flying thanks 🙏
Yes, I would love to
Maby you can doo one abaut the faild malév hungarian airlines logo change its prety intresting
Interesting video! Do some southamerican airlines, like Aerolineas Argentinas, Avianca, LAN, etc

So many more airlines to cover. I hope this was only Part I. :)
I’d love to see a video on pilots
I would like to see more about airline logos both international and United States carriers.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on. - TB

2:12 I have model British airways planes with all of the liveries
Do you have their B.O.A.C ?
@@riliryrimaddyvia9630 no not yet

Yes try to do Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Qantas, and United Airline
Yes make more such video wirh a bit focus on Asia
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
Air France always did a good logo. They should have kept the bleu and blanc when they did the redesign.
Nice! Please do the North American and east Asian editions!
The Negus BA was the best. It's a shame they don't use the speedbird emblem anymore.
Yes, next episode will be nice too. Can you add LOT Polish Airlines to 2nd video?
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
Could you make a video on the liveries as well as the logo?
Thanks for the feedback, I'll pass it on! - TB
Great video! Would love to see asian airlines now!

I just realized that the second Aeroflot logo closely resembled my old org's logo.
Yes
By the way, Simple Flying's logo is a plane window
the strip of British airways is adopted from the full emblem of British Airways company, it is a great omission of BA emblem while you should KLM emblem
Great video, it reminded me of logo changes of my country's airline. I would very appreciate if you did a historical review of Serbia's airline : Aeroput (airline of kingdom of Yugoslavia) -> JAT - Jugoslovenski aerotransport (Yugoslav Airlines, airline of SFR Yugoslavia and FR Yugoslavia) -> JAT airways (airline of Serbia and Montenegro and later only of Serbia) -> Air Serbia (today's airline of Serbia) :-)
Thanks for the feedback! - TB
Do Middle Eastern airlines next!
Please do more
Do a part two
You need to do another part of european airlines. You left out so many
No need to be SASsy, just give him a nudge TAROMind him that there are a LOT of airlines he could still TAP into if he wants to FINNAIRsh the entire continent of Europe. Just give him time for some mental reVUELING though; doesn't need to happen in a WIZZ...
@@rjfaber1991 I applaud you. Well done
@@rjfaber1991 What a legend
Garuda also had logo history too
I'd like to see airlines of Asia and the Pacific!
I'd love to see more, and also why the companies chose what they did.
Thanks for the feedback. - TB
Great video ! Although the French flag was backwards :)
The Iberia logo was not a stylized "B." It was an "IB" for its 2 letter designator.
You can found winged animal in every air france fleet just looking to their engine
You missed one KLM logo, the "Strategic Partners" logo
1:08 could you mean the right? Or am I missing something.
yes please
Air France, KLM haven't changed their livery in many decades..
Actually
Air france changed their liveries 2 times
And KLM 5 times
@@Real_British oh to what..looks the same to me
pls make more
