    Do you happen to have a contact for the manufacturer? I’ve had my CS4 for less than a month and my AC to DC inverter just blew. I ran it in increments of 15 on, 30 off to let it cool down and it still blew. I heard a loud pop like a capacitor went out. The compressor itself never even got warm to the touch but I would shut it off anyway.

    No actually the first bleeder that I released was at the tank after the filter a lot of moisture came out so the little filters were definitely not doing their job. Do you think this filter will work to fill the tank or just to use it to fill the gun? Thanks again

    the motor turns a lot slower which is certainly going to be good for keeping heat down. Is this one able to fill larger tanks, or just gun bottles?

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  Год назад +2

      It has a long runtime, so it should be good to fill larger tanks! I don't have a tank to test it with, but if I get one I'll post an update.
      Ya it stays pretty cool, I checked the coolant after running it for 15 minutes or so and it was just mildly warm.

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87

      Antifreeze/coolant is the best, it should be neutral PH. I don't remember the exact brand I used, but something like this should work. amzn.to/3KiR1YK
      Certain coolants are high acid, you should avoid those, or just use distilled water. Hope this helps!

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  7 месяцев назад +1

      The specs say 5 hours - if you are in a particularly hot environment I'd just keep an eye on the heat. That's the biggest limiter for these pumps. Should be able to fill just about any tank in one go. (Not sure what tank would take 5 hours 😂)

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  10 месяцев назад

      Yes, just do it in increments and don't run it longer then the manual says too. Overheating is the biggest concern.

  • @fredA1234
    @fredA1234 7 месяцев назад

    So it’s a 6.8 L tank it took three hours to fill. My concern is when I open the bleeder. A lot of water came out so I assume it went right past by filters and into the tank. I think the small filters might be good enough to fill a gun but not big enough to fill a tank this size both filters were soaking wet. do you have any suggestions for a really decent filter? Thanks again

    • @Themightymooseoutdoor87
      @Themightymooseoutdoor87  7 месяцев назад

      That's good to know - the bleeder is on the opposite end of your filter though right? I believe the filter is the last bit before the air goes into the hose and the gun, so the bleeder would let moisture out.
      Depending on your budget, this one should do the trick. amzn.to/4auy3sw

    How well is it still working? My poor Benjamin Traveller 2 has gone from refilling one of my guns in 7 minutes to almost 15 minutes, needs a rebuild. And it's loud not and not designed for long runtimes as I get into 4500 psi 500cc tanks I'm right on the edge or beyond if I fill from zero. On my Hammer, 3 shots per fill from 2000 to 4500, I spent a lot of time at the range yesterday picking up trash while waiting for air! Far too much time so I need better!
    Have you measured the voltage while running to see where it is really operating? I have my benji connected to 18 volt tool batteries and a 24 to 12 volt dc-dc converter for portable use, if it truly runs on 12 volts I can move this battery rig over to something new.
