Heroes, David Bowie Cover, Live Looping

This is my version of David Bowie's song, Heroes played with a loop pedal. With each verse I add another layer of guitar and bass, so by the end there is quite a lot going on!

This is played live in one take and with no additional overdubs. I do cheat a bit by using a drum beat and pre-recorded backing vocals in the last verse, but all the rest is me, live.

This is such an anthemic song of hope and victory - but is actually a song about the struggle to overcome alcoholism and addiction. Heroism is the day to day struggle to face reality without being bombed.
