I would love to see a part two where you go over substepping, vorticity and momentum preservation. Very good things I'd like to see in a smoke sim that I've not seen anyone else do. Then it'll truly be a catch-all smoke sim.
Just seen this. Did not even notice the length of the video until it was over. Would love a part two. When you first applied gravity to the points, my first reaction was "so it also does waterfalls". But I guess as smoke is a fluid simulation, so that makes sense. With the current state of geometry nodes, just how much more can you do with the sim? I assume wind direction could be done with x and y translation?

saw the cloth simulation setup by xeofrios recently. Didn't think geometry nodes was capable of smoke sims as well

The temperature isn’t clamped so it will scale your you buoyancy but in the negative direction
