First time watching this podcast. Impressed with the hosts discipline in asking questions and not talking over each other. 4 people asking questions of the guest and each having the self comtrol to let the guest fully answer. Very rare in the podcast world.

My wife is Japanese. She grew up with a certain set of television shows that she fondly remembers, especially during the holidays. Those shows still exist in Japan and little kids know them well there. This is what the Japanese do right, they preserve culture really well.

Unfortunately, we are pressured far more to embrace other cultures and lead to believe or even be ashamed of our culture. I honor and respect all cultures and feel like we are the only ones being pressured to accept other cultures and their is nothing pushing others to honor or respect ours.

Well, when it's a monotheistic culture, it's pretty easy to preserve. Germany, France, Ireland, and Britain once lived thusly, until they opened their gates. America has been a massive melting pot and though once, many cultures could unite, opening the border to those who do not wish to assimilate, plus, allowing an "anything goes" mentality and lack of religion has destroyed us.

@@TheDuke78 I grew up with Hee Haw and I'm a Northerner. We kids liked the show and parents thought it was wholesome. Then one day, Hollywood deemed Southern culture horrible and started to attack it with movies and parody. They made the Southern accent appear low IQ. Overnight it turned the south into a hellhole. It's never really recovered. The same is happening right now but it's "white culture." When people compare what's happening in South Africa to what's happening here, I think there's a grain of truth in it.

I'm starting to wonder when Tucker had Roseanne Barr on his show or the show Bet David, She mentioned that Michelle Obama got her fired from Fox so, obviously, they have blackmail on the owner of network, Fox, Rupert Murdock. IMHO, I believe Michelle Obama, did the samething on Murdoch, threatened him, to fire Tucker Carlson.
No other intelligible form of humanly common sense would fire their top money maker and top commentator on Television. Who smells a panick, to stop the spread of truth getting out, for instance, look what happens to Julius Assange when he told the truth about actual true events? I have also changed my opinion of TC as a result of this discussion; I was surprised that I agreed with him on so many issues. The boys gave him a lot of easy ones, though. I would have asked him to speak to this well-publicized text: “We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights; I truly can’t wait,” Carlson wrote in a text to an unidentified Fox employee on Jan. 4, 2021, according to a recent court filing by Dominion. Regardless, it was a great episode.

I don’t like that definition- I prefer a more functional definition, which is that it’s the politician riding a wave of a popular, not necessarily the majority, issue. This opposes a principled take on those issues, some of which also may be popular. When the elites attack populism, they are saying that the populist point of view has no nuance / principle. Mob rule.

@@williamgianopulos636 Also possible his team sent the footage after the interview and it was edited in. FWIW, as a non-American who isn't familiar with Tucker or most Fox news personalities, but has heard only second hand accounts in the media, I must say he was surprisingly down to earth, intelligent, genuine, reasonable. That's not the impression I got from how he was portrayed by the Australian media.

One thing that I haven’t heard anyone tell Tucker on a podcast is the following :
As TC said, he gets harassed a lot in public (lift lines in Jackson Hole, for ex) yet he has not allowed himself to become, in any way, desensitized or embittered at all. He retains his humanity fully intact. Which is wonderful for all of us to see his purity and transparency and also serves as a great example for us to incorporate as an approach in our own lives.

@@einerus I guess if you perpetually project Soviet and Imperial Era's on Russia, you wouldn't like his take, but Russia ain't Imperial or Soviet anymore. 100yrs of being proven wrong with a hard landing into the modern world economy tends to impress some motivation to shift from historical trends. Anyone who thinks this Ukraine War wasn't just an Anglo-American fever dream proxy war from a neocons LSD trip is not deficient in historical context, but lacking in basic logical faculty.
