You have such wonderful witty humor and I do not mind the time lapse when you are wrenching a bolt.

Use PP corrugated board (plastic board). it is a dual-layer plastic material that is very lightweight and is used for advertising signs. You can cut it with a razor knife, tape the edges and use pan-head screws or velcro to hold it in place. It is also called polyplast or flute-board, comes in a variety of colors, easy to find, cheap and is as thin as 2mm.

I race rally cars too, just go aluminium or carbon fibre sheets for the door. Don't worry about the back as its only in the door so you don't have sharp edges/hazards. Also use dry ice and strip out all the factory sound deadening. 👍👍👍 Looking forward to watching more.

The guy that taught me to paint cars told me once that the first thing you do to paint a car is wash it, the second thing you do is wash it again. This way you make sure that you got 99.9% of the dirt off of it. The next thing is wax and grease remover. I followed his advice and never had any problems. Anything you put on this channel your fans are going to watch, we all just love you and the things you do no matter what it is.

    What's up Garage Sarah! ✌🏻
I stopped buying used cars for reasons like that... I can turn wrenches with the best of them, and used to do custom metal fab and offroad fabrication and welding, but the last used vehicle I got started falling apart within the first 2 days. That was the last time I was going to allow myself to get burned. Since then, it's been brand new with a warranty. UNLESS I decide on a specific project vehicle, then I already expect to spend countless hours and $$$ fixing other people's f***-ups and problems, and most times it's best to just start snatching things completely in pieces and start over with a full-rebuild of the entire vehicle, and mostly new/refreshed parts.

While I'm far from an expert, I've heard other RUclipsrs mention that the only reason that they have separate channels is that they want to provide a different style of vid (such as vlogging) that will likely have fewer views than most of their typical content. Because the YT algorithm supposedly lessens your exposure if your average view numbers go down, this method protects their video recommendation rate. Thanks as always for your fun content, Sarah!

Having a second channel to differentiate your content types sounds like a good idea in principal but you have to worry about diluting your subscriber base for both channels. Then the algorithms will get you for losing subs on one channel and not having enough on the second. :(

Hey Sarah - metal work - cut,(shears) fold or bend (break) and bead roll (Rollers) for strength flat panels welding is a puddle to keep moving, I do enjoy your videos your a good mechanic and able to fix most things. Metal can be very sharp - Its a very long list of things you can get to setup a shop.... you might think about specifics or types of work you do to a car if its repair, modify etc. What you work you might do. Sarah, you should inspect the intake valves for excessive carbon buildup. Someone may have already mentioned this, but the '96 - '98 Cobras ran a similar IMRC system with the same fault. The runners would remain closed and build carbon trees on the intake valve that. Although similar there are differences. I just wanted to mention it. I would check it if I was doing this project.

Regarding door cards, read the rule book for the series of events that you intend to run. Some require standard door cards, some require channels to be cut into the standard cards. If you are going to be doing night events, paint them flat black. Any reflections are extremely distracting, same with any gauges or map lights or navigation equipment, make sure they don't reflect in the screen or you won't see past them.

One channel - The mix of content is a USP for me. Two channels, I think you work hard enough and too many hours already to give us the quality of content with a high bar you've set yourself. And giving what you can of you. I like the odd vlog or sunset drink down a dirt road to break it up. For me anyway, ebbs and flows is the key to mixing it up after all!

Would you consider teaching us a little basic electrical trouble shooting during your videos?
    Thank you..

There are a lot of people that enjoy the content on your town if you create a second Channel people will most definitely watch because you're awesome

For the door panels, if they need to be formed over anything in order to fit, you could order sheets of kydex and just use a heat gun to form them right on the door then mount them with sheet metal screws or rivets. Lighter and cheaper than aluminum. Plus no rattles.

Kydex plastic is very easy to work with for the door panels. Comes in colors and is fire resistant. A little pricey maybe but you dont need much. Available from most any large scale wholesale, industrial, commercial plastic business. Same stuff they mold holsters out of.

Expanded PVC sheet is very easy to cut and bend, pretty light and more than strong enough for aesthetics.

Love how you combine car reviews, your builds, and vlogs together. As a member of the SnT OCD club, love when you clean things.

I actually like this little focus, after the fixes it even sounds like a rally car :). I hope you get to drive it rally style some day or even compete with it! I’m glad you chose this car instead of some more expensive and probably more capable car because it shows that you can have backdoor rally fun at low budget and tons of fun of fixing/building the car up! Will be waiting for more, good luck!
