You barely have time for a single channel, so I'm not sure where you'd find the time for two! I for one, have no problem with you mixing things up. (Love the Def Leppard shirt, best band ever!)
Sarah, In my own perfect opinion, I enjoy the way you Vlog and Blog in the same video. You have such wonderful witty humor and I do not mind the time lapse when you are wrenching a bolt. You work so hard now, I vote to keep Sarah -n- Tuned and have a vlog episode or just go vloggy in the bloggy.
Keep all on one channel please. The mix of work and logs on this channel is great. No need to add the stress of maintaining and managing a second channel.
You ever think how crazy Sarah has come considering she’s basically done everything by herself? I mean all the other channels have friends, mechanics and shops that are there everyday to help and Sarah has just been grinding and actually killing the game.
Local round d round guys use the painted alloy panels. Comes in 4'x10' sheets? Two sides painted, like red/white or black and ? Very reasonably priced. Rally cars are great, street legal, safe, yet you can race them!
Love the videos, but I want to specifically call out how much I appreciate the soundtrack vibe you maintain. Fantastic song selections. A complete breath of fresh air.
Hey Sarah, great job on the IMRC. I wish most of the guys I worked with as a Ford tech for 22 years were half as good as you. Once again, excellent job with diagnosis, repair and fixing the other problems you find along the way.
Bombing around in the dirt with beaters is fun, I envy you having all those cool roads and trails around, and the long hot season to enjoy them. A second channel would be cool but don't over extend yourself. I know I enjoy your vlog stuff but I wouldn't want it to push you too far.
Ultimately, going with a second channel or not is your own decision but personally, I like the mix. Your channel is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you're gonna get when you bite into a new episode! And that's half the fun right there! 😁
I hope you are proud of yourself. You should be. Your wit, humor, skills in video, editing, mechanical and electrical knowledge are to be admired. Keep going!!!
Well, yes, but has storage stuff already going on. Sounds simple when you say it fast. It's not that simple, trust me. If only we could have more garage space.....
Sarah, if you want to do a second vlog channel, I'm all for it. I'm sure you already spend a lot of time editing your videos, so don't overwork yourself! Just be yourself and have fun with it. By the way, thank you for the laughs. I love your sense of humor!
The guy that taught me to paint cars told me once that the first thing you do to paint a car is wash it, the second thing you do is wash it again. This way you make sure that you got 99.9% of the dirt off of it. The next thing is wax and grease remover. I followed his advice and never had any problems. Anything you put on this channel your fans are going to watch, we all just love you and the things you do no matter what it is.
What's up Garage Sarah! ✌🏻 I stopped buying used cars for reasons like that... I can turn wrenches with the best of them, and used to do custom metal fab and offroad fabrication and welding, but the last used vehicle I got started falling apart within the first 2 days. That was the last time I was going to allow myself to get burned. Since then, it's been brand new with a warranty. UNLESS I decide on a specific project vehicle, then I already expect to spend countless hours and $$$ fixing other people's f***-ups and problems, and most times it's best to just start snatching things completely in pieces and start over with a full-rebuild of the entire vehicle, and mostly new/refreshed parts.
I just found your channel from someone mentioning it on a bad obsession motorsport comment. This is awesome! I race rally cars too, just go aluminium or carbon fibre sheets for the door. Don't worry about the back as its only in the door so you don't have sharp edges/hazards. Also use dry ice and strip out all the factory sound deadening. 👍👍👍 Looking forward to watching more.
I vote for the one channel. We watch your channel for you and the content but you are the content. Your honest approach to things and your humor make this a success. I hope you find peace with your decision.
You are an inspirational young lady and it would be a pleasure to know you. There is a fresh appeal to your videos which makes them wonderful to watch. Keep it going, Sarah. Bye !
Use PP corrugated board (plastic board). it is a dual-layer plastic material that is very lightweight and is used for advertising signs. You can cut it with a razor knife, tape the edges and use pan-head screws or velcro to hold it in place. It is also called polyplast or flute-board, comes in a variety of colors, easy to find, cheap and is as thin as 2mm.
Sarah, I have just discovered your channel this week. Thank you for being you. You asked for input on two ideas. One channel. I am enjoying the mix you bring. Aluminium panels over plastic but heat absorption needs to addressed. Thank you.
I really like seeing you fix things as that valve. And coming from the rc world, I can spot a 540 Mabuchi motor from miles away lol And that smile can melt anybody. Keep on Sarah :-)
What to go Sarah. You made more power!!! I think I’d like to see another vlog. You’re entering in just about everything you video. Unintentional laughs and smiles are all I do watching your videos.
Having a second channel to differentiate your content types sounds like a good idea in principal but you have to worry about diluting your subscriber base for both channels. Then the algorithms will get you for losing subs on one channel and not having enough on the second. :( I do enjoy all of your content, though.
Sarah, you are so interesting and fun to watch, we would love to get the more intimate sides of your personality around other subjects as well. This channel is doing well; you have the skill to feed both channels content. I say go for it.
That was impressive diagnosing the string of issues and then cleaning the contacts and applying the heat transfer paste to fix the driveability issues. I love it when they just fall inline. As for a separate Vlog channel, do what makes you happy. "Build it and they will come".
You could make a vlog about ur cats life and I would be along for the ride...and as far as your interior panels...I vote aluminium....cuz u say it funy.
That's how we say it in Australia, but it is funny to hear someone from the USA that way. Maybe that Australian Roo sign hanging on the wall has some mind control device in it
You are my favorite female car blogger. You know your stuff in many areas and it is fun to watch with your unique humor . There’s many other female car bloggers but they don’t go in detail as you do .:)
Once again, sounds simple when you say it fast. In reality, it's not that simple. ("Sounds easy when you say it fast" is the answer to problems that arent quite as simple as they sound, when you say the "fast" solution).
Was trying to work and watch this in the background...had to listen again to the comment at 8:50 to make sure I heard it correctly...lol. You are awesome, Sarah! Love your sense of humor.
Fords....never ending car projects. Sarah you will have plenty of video content of this project. I always enjoy your New Model car reviews. The 2021 Acura MDX production starts in January. It'll be a overpriced dumpster fire! Trust me
Another good job. You do whatever you want. I like your repairs, a learning experience like the other repair guy I watch. Do more troubleshooting and repairs, or whatever you want.
Wow - the inner workings of the IMRC (a thing I never heard of before) was super interesting to see - Feed my inner geek! New knowledge aquried - yeay! - As I have said before, I really like the Focused content :) Looking forward to the next episode.
Keep this thing aliveee ! Currently taking apart a 4 door and rebuilding my 03 2drs cylinder head because the previous owner put the wrong spark plugs in smh. Love whatchu doin... A k&n cold air intake added quite a bit of fun for mine 💯
Either way, added channel or more/different content on this channel, I'm going to watch. Your wit, your Shatneresque pauses, and the creative editing all makes your vids worth watching. Keep it coming !
Yes yes yes a vlog channel would be amazingggg. I got a job at a kia supplier. 12hr shifts 6 days a week.. Youre videos are all i look forward to now haha.
Glad you checked the MAF , my Dyno day for my old 03 SVTF was fouled due to the gummed up hot wires . Would not turn the runners over , clean MAF clean run ! Another thing is that coolant drain in that little black housing has the weakest Buna N gasket softer than a cute little baby neck. Viton O rings did the deed.
Awesome video on the IMRC, good to know you can have it opened up to make sure its working! My 02 SVT feels down on power down low but doesn't have a check engine light, might check our the IMRC to see if its still working. Thank you for the video!
Hi. Yeah add the vlogs to this channel, all in one place. IMRC UNIT, 😜 I have hade 4 st170 here in the UK and All of them have issues with this unit, the most common I found was the troublesome transistor blowing its socks off. Easy fix. The other issues found, bad contacts, cable breaking, bad motor, and finally water damage. Good luck and enjoy. The super charger is also fun.
Hey Sarah - metal work - cut,(shears) fold or bend (break) and bead roll (Rollers) for strength flat panels welding is a puddle to keep moving, I do enjoy your videos your a good mechanic and able to fix most things. Metal can be very sharp - Its a very long list of things you can get to setup a shop.... you might think about specifics or types of work you do to a car if its repair, modify etc. What you work you might do. Just my 2c or opinion - ah your fine do what is need for other videos (Time to edit ?). Good to hear you address the damage and safety concerns of driving the focus. I like ford blue for the focus.
Aluminium in the back area, but use either plastic OR clear/tinted Perspex in the front door cards. lightweight but adds some personality. also randomly recommended this by youtube and I'm officially here to stay, this looks like a fun project and you definitely know what your doing which is awesome.
Sarah, Love your videos, they really brighten my day! A few words of advice from a long time dirt rider... It looks like you may want to either loose or augment that K&N air filter (as evidenced by dirt on the filtered side of your air box). While a K&N allows more air flow and while they work fine for relativly clean air (on pavement), off road racers and dirt bike riders can tell you that type of guaze air filter alone, does not trap fine dust particles. They need a finer mesh pre-filter (often reffered to as a "sock"). I would sugest that you consider fabricating a two stage foam air filter, oiled to trap fine dust like in a dirt bike. OR, just run an OEM type paper filter. Either way, if you have run that K&N in the dirt for very long, you may want to do a compression check. Just a suggestion that could save you an engine rebuild. CHEERS!
4:32 Sarah, it does have Fords version of vtec. Its VVT variable valve timing solenoid is under the spark plug cover. So it has variable valves and a variable intake.
I don't know how you manage to release so much content, and well edited, on your own. Impressive working 🐝 you are. If your blogs will be even remotely car related I vote keep it in one channel. I think you're doing a great job I can only imagine the subs to go up, you are extremely likable and ...clean, great attitude and everything! Hope you get sponsored and all the tools you want, but I like the fact you work in a realistic "for mortals" environment and your projects been low budget like Sir Kosworth and Mr Dos... I could watch those all day.
I don't think you need a separate channel for vlog stuff. I like how you mix up from time to time.
I concur. Too many subs to keep track of already.
Agreed. Just K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid). 👍🏻
Agreed... To be clear, I do really enjoy your vloggy days as well, so keep those coming also. Thanks for all you do!
Totally agree! I love all the content, and it feels natural for it to be together on one channel.
It keeps things interesting and from seeming too long. The mix is better. It's also just a lot more natural- how people work and talk.
So glad I found this channel. Your enthusiasm gives me joy :)
🥰
Yes, Please! More Sarah!! As long is it doesn't totally burn you out. It's amazing how much you already put into your videos.
Keep all on one channel please. The mix of work and logs on this channel is great. No need to add the stress of maintaining and managing a second channel.
ELECTRONIC GENIUS!!!
Nothing wrong with cleaning everything, just looks so much better, good on you Sarah!
You ever think how crazy Sarah has come considering she’s basically done everything by herself? I mean all the other channels have friends, mechanics and shops that are there everyday to help and Sarah has just been grinding and actually killing the game.
Aluminium for door cards. Don’t add flammable materials unless you have to.
Agreed. Look at the cards that the Binky channel have just fitted to their new budget race car. Very neat.
Automotive plastics have a flammability spec. meaning they burn really slow. However I agree on alu due to weight and additional space inside.
From my memory of owning a sonic blue svt in 2002, the car was pretty slow down low but really woke up in high rpm's. Keep up the good work Sarah!
I like the look of the aluminum door cards, very clean and relatively light weight.
Hey Sarah, great job on the IMRC. I wish most of the guys I worked with as a Ford tech for 22 years were half as good as you. Once again, excellent job with diagnosis, repair and fixing the other problems you find along the way.
I don't mind a second channel as long as you're happy.
Yup. Although I have no problem whatsoever if the vlogs are on this channel either. Just like the car reviews, those vlogs keep the content variable.
I am so glad you said Aluminium the correct way 13:24 Way to go!!!
Bombing around in the dirt with beaters is fun, I envy you having all those cool roads and trails around, and the long hot season to enjoy them.
A second channel would be cool but don't over extend yourself. I know I enjoy your vlog stuff but I wouldn't want it to push you too far.
Really excellent explanation of components and your troubleshooting was spot on. See what happens when “Garage Science” goes beyond new car reviews !
Yup! Would love a 2nd channel.
I'll watch whatever you do. You are are a bright spot and a smile in a freaking strange world! Don't change!
Lmao..."little rubber butt plug"!! I love how Sarah makes up her own jargon for car parts. She's really funny. :)
snapper-doodle
sonofasamsquantch
@@Fireholder1 Lol...those are funny, too. Oh, and I forgot to mention her new one for "SVT" is "sushi very tasty".
She's a maintainer through and through. Love her content.
Fixing electricsl is a fun little mind game. I agree fixing is the satifaction. Keep enjoying what you do.
Anybody know how to start a go fund me page so we can get this kid a garage of her own. She is really good and I've learned a great deal from her.
Damn fine idea buddy.
Well, yes, but has storage stuff already going on. Sounds simple when you say it fast. It's not that simple, trust me. If only we could have more garage space.....
Martin C. Some people see only problems… Other people see solutions…
Great idea!

Your cars are lucky to have you. So much detail and attention. You're awesome Sarah!
Sarah, if you want to do a second vlog channel, I'm all for it. I'm sure you already spend a lot of time editing your videos, so don't overwork yourself! Just be yourself and have fun with it. By the way, thank you for the laughs. I love your sense of humor!

I dream of the day I can start my own rally car project! 😻😻 keep doing you, I get more excited when I see one of your videos drop than any others
I agree fully! Properly diagnosing a problem is always satisfying.
What's up Garage Sarah! ✌🏻
I stopped buying used cars for reasons like that... I can turn wrenches with the best of them, and used to do custom metal fab and offroad fabrication and welding, but the last used vehicle I got started falling apart within the first 2 days. Why am I not surprised that you had heat transfer paste in stock. Good going !
I vote for the one channel. We watch your channel for you and the content but you are the content. Your honest approach to things and your humor make this a success. I hope you find peace with your decision.
With the right tune, that bolt gives you an extra 15 whp
You are an inspirational young lady and it would be a pleasure to know you. There is a fresh appeal to your videos which makes them wonderful to watch. Keep it going, Sarah. Bye !
Definitely do a vlog channel. More content is a plus

Yiu look great with that pink top!!!
When doesn’t she 😜
Sarah,
I have just discovered your channel this week.
Thank you for being you.
You asked for input on two ideas.
One channel. I am enjoying the mix you bring.
Aluminium panels over plastic but heat absorption needs to addressed.
Thank you.
bead rolled aluminum would be a light, effective interior, plus being easier to maintain than the plastic.
Holy Crap! A dune buggy.
Oi mate! Cheers from a 'Murican in the UK! 🏴
Sarah is my favorite ❤❤❤
Either way you decide to add the vlogs is gonna be great 👍!!!! Having MORE Sarah is a great idea no matter how it’s presented !!!
Vlog yes
I really like seeing you fix things as that valve.
And coming from the rc world, I can spot a 540 Mabuchi motor from miles away lol
And that smile can melt anybody.
Keep on Sarah :-)
More Sarah, the better! :)
Yes, girl. Great troubleshooting! As I said in the previous video, I love this project!
Yes to the second channel, the more Sarah the better :)
What to go Sarah. You made more power!!! I think I’d like to see another vlog. You’re entering in just about everything you video. Unintentional laughs and smiles are all I do watching your videos.

Yes to second channel and the focus is coming along nicely
Totally agree AL for interior cover up panels. No need to have more flammable, plus act a little as barrier from spraying gasoline.
!
Yes on second channel.
A clever, adorable lady oozing charm and wit. A second channel? What's not to like? Adoring GB fan x
"that's not the first time i've had white, creamy stuff all over my hands." SARAH
me: "hey, one more thing we have in common! wait.."
😂😂👍
LMFAO! 😂 🤣 😅
Oh, most definitely
Probably talking about a milk spill or something
That was impressive diagnosing the string of issues and then cleaning the contacts and applying the heat transfer paste to fix the driveability issues. I love it when they just fall inline.
As for a separate Vlog channel, do what makes you happy. "Build it and they will come".

You are my favorite female car blogger. You know your stuff in many areas and it is fun to watch with your unique humor . There’s many other female car bloggers but they don’t go in detail as you do .:)
Camera placement and retrieval during outdoor filming must be a real hassle
YES to a second channel now that your sis will be lending a hand.
It’s insanely time consuming
Once again, sounds simple when you say it fast. In reality, it's not that simple. ("Sounds easy when you say it fast" is the answer to problems that arent quite as simple as they sound, when you say the "fast" solution).
You're awesome. Great that you know what you're doing when working on the cars.
Brontosaurus what!?? LMAO. 😂😂
I was unaware that bronto dongs had been documented.
I love your channel the way it is. It breaks things up a bit. Proud of you for fixing the IMRC. Keep the videos coming :)
0:00 The face you make when you just know something is going to be delicious! ;o)
You are very good at electrical diagnostics Sarah!!!!!!!!!!
You want aluminium sheets to cover the interior because plastic can shatter in a crash
Was trying to work and watch this in the background...had to listen again to the comment at 8:50 to make sure I heard it correctly...lol. You are awesome, Sarah! Love your sense of humor.
Second channel, are you mad?!? I’m in
Love how you combine car reviews, your builds, and vlogs together. As a member of the SnT OCD club, love when you clean things.
Fords....never ending car projects. Sarah you will have plenty of video content of this project.
I always enjoy your New Model car reviews.
The 2021 Acura MDX production starts in January.
It'll be a overpriced dumpster fire! Trust me
Aluminum is my vote for the doors and rear area as well.
No need for a second channel. We enjoy it all. Keep everything right here.
not sure about a second channel. but this is gold.
Made me happy Sarah! Thank you for being you and awesome!
I give you serious props for your ability to find and fix electrical gremlins. Way better than me for sure.
Enjoyed the cleaning, thanks Sarah. Will watch the videos regardless of 1 channel or 2. Loving you and the videos atm!
Another good job. You do whatever you want. I like your repairs, a learning experience like the other repair guy I watch. Do more troubleshooting and repairs, or whatever you want.
The comments you make in the video so great, and definitely vlog it up!
As a former Sonic Blue Focus SVT owner, it made me happy that you cleaned it. Great work as always.
Either way, added channel or more/different content on this channel, I'm going to watch. Your wit, your Shatneresque pauses, and the creative editing all makes your vids worth watching. Keep it coming !
Your fault finding skills are definitely exceptional.
Yes yes yes a vlog channel would be amazingggg. I got a job at a kia supplier. 12hr shifts 6 days a week.. Youre videos are all i look forward to now haha.
No need for a vlog channel. Just do what u want on this channel. Love the variety.
We always enjoy listening to you explain your thought processes as you work on your automobiles 😊 just the greatest!
Either way is fine. I do not mind all the different contents on just one channel. I enjoy that it is a mix of things.
Aluminium in the back area, but use either plastic OR clear/tinted Perspex in the front door cards. lightweight but adds some personality.
also randomly recommended this by youtube and I'm officially here to stay, this looks like a fun project and you definitely know what your doing which is awesome.

CHEERS!
I would watch both channels, but I like the variety of the channel with multiple video types mixed in.
You can do it you do have what it takes to make happen it all common sense and you have that. You are impressive.
4:32 Sarah, it does have Fords version of vtec. Its VVT variable valve timing solenoid is under the spark plug cover. So it has variable valves and a variable intake.
Yes! This is my favorite gen of focus!
Go for it
I don't know how you manage to release so much content, and well edited, on your own.
OMG, I’m loving this project. Vlog channel YES
Just got my 2003 SVT Focus ZX5 on the road. Nice clean texas car. Going to be working on the IMRC system this week.
