You should. Believe what this snowtrax guy is saying because i can totally agree. I have a sks 2016 and man does it go places i never thought possible.
+demendet man what does that really mean? man does it go places i never thought possible. it would be interesting to see it compared to a sled with two inch lugs 153 length or something like that. i believe you. but it would be kool to see a side by side comparison with a cross over. it would not be a fair comparison. i would like to see how much better these mountain sleds are vs regular sleds. i rarely get the chance to drive a mountain sled.
My buddy's AXYS RMK LE motor blew up at 300 miles and he can't get a replacement til the snowcheck comes out. They're great riding sleds but they are not tough and you will be replacing a arms like crazy.
I love this sled and I've been a polaris fan for a long time, but I think polaris dropped the ball on the new axys. it looks great performs great but with my experience it's not as rigged as they claim. I got my new polaris switchback pro s and not even 24 hours after buying it I was out on the trails and hit a rock under the snow. It it bent my a arms, the ski was upside down, the shock snapped, and it ripped mounts out of my bulk head. On inspection I was disappointed how polaris built their bulk head, it has absolutely no reinforcement to it. As dissipated I am with that happened it could be an icolated case. I'd like to see polaris make their sleds a little more durable in exchange for some weight, but that's my option.
+jachkbro Now you have to think that when you hit a rock that any sled will have a big problem's... I have a 2011 assault and have thrashed it hard. I jumped it once thinking I'd make the jump but ended up scraping the tunnel on some rock and all that. I was really impressed with the durability of the sled. Only thing broken was the bumper mounts and the tunnel was in tip top shape, few scratches here and there but that was it. Yeah maybe the quality did go down...but highly doubt it. When Polaris usually release a new product it's more impressive then they say it is. But hey you had a bad experience and it happens to the best of us.
+Kyle Fitzgerald It could have been a case that there was a slight defect in the sled and something gave when it shouldn't have. But going back to my old sled it was a 2014 Polaris indy and I could beat the shit out of the thing and same with my dad's 2015 switchback assault. Just looking at the bulk heads on them they seems to be better reinforced then on my new axys..... But I have it fixed now (after spending way too much money fixing it) so I'll just half to wait and see how it holds up
You should probably do research on that "pop can issue" before stating a claim which is probably not even true. Generally mountain sleds sacrifice rigidity to shed weight so it's more nibble as opposed to a trail snowmobile where stability is crucial.
Just got my first sled, 2010 RMK Dragon, already cant wait to upgrade to one of these!! Great channel
Dream sled. That all red is GORGEOUS!!
Uncle Deez yes a can't agree with you more
I just bought this exact sled today, except it's all black. Cannot wait to ride it!
Still good with my 2013 RMK…top notch.

still better than the summit
Looks like a ski don't from the side but a Polaris from the front
i just dont know what to think of that sled i wanna wait a while and see how it dose i hurd the platform twists like a pop can
