I think it means that in the round before then it was always in that spot, but on this round the last station that they were at had it in a different spot, which is the anomaly they missed. Now it's back in its original spot and Kryoz, having missed the anomaly last time, now thought it was an anomaly. (I don't know if this makes any sense but I tried to articulate it the best I could.)
