Love the video. He doesn't annoy me like others do. He doesn't yell and holler because he has a nice fish on the line. And most importantly he doesn't say FISH ON! Great video
Fishing with LaSharkHunter Thanks for the sub! That’s how my bass fishing has been lately. Heading to Chickamauga on Monday to fish a regional tournament and hopefully it’s fishing well. I’ll check your channel for some shark videos in the future.
Great video Richard! I just moved to Rogersville, AL a month ago and I live on the Tennessee river. I’ve been fishing everyday and have caught some really nice flatheads on night crawlers right off my dock. I am in California for a few days and can’t wait to get back there.
I used to live in Nashville, and I love this guy. Reminds me of the guys that were nice enough to take me fishing for striped bass. So much fun to hang out and drink beer with. Some of the friendliest people I have ever met.
Richard I am a big fan of yours buddy and I try not to miss one upload! Great! Informative stuff easy to understand! Excellent job my friend god bless you to your continued success with channel!👍
A brother I appreciate you doing close-ups of your rig most people hide the way they rig everything up I have been doing my leaders way too short all my life thank you so much for showing how you make a proper rig that gives the fish enough freedom to get the bait I see what I've been doing wrong they didn't have enough freedom
Man I would love to go fishing with you! I watch your videos because you remind me of my papa before he passed. Thanks for reminding me of all the good memories me and him had.
Nice!! Ricard you keep doing what you're doing, these videos are better and more informative than any TV show or any other videos out there. Big reason is you, you are having fun, and it feels like Im out there with you.
Richard here on Lake hickory NC , we have four damns that pour water in to the lake and from April 20th through jun 15th the flathead will converge at them to prespawn, or pick mates, this is my most favorite time of the year and you can not get close enough to those damns.
Why do people dislike videos? We're you upset that this man spilled his coffee? He is fishing and trying to give content. Keep up your enjoyment sir and keep those lines tight my PB is 62lbs lots of fun I released and caught me a couple of eater's. Blue.
I was once told by a old man that always fished catfish that catfish dont have a preferred time to eat. They eat when they're hungry. Lol all day all night but most productive and yet enjoyable for me is the early mornings ... get there before sunrise and leave by noon :)
Well, for a specific river that I fished at, they most definitely fed at night. Pretty much as soon as the sun went down. Then at around 3am to sunrise, they'd stop biting, and you wouldn't get so much as a peck. Happened on multiple trips, and we'd usually pack out our limit of 15 a piece.
I know for utah not sure for other places but catfish in utah is like 6:30pm than all through the night then it get slow during the day but people have gotten some pretty big cat fish in the day just harder to catch
Great episode, always especially enjoy your live bait videos golden shiners are my go to overall bait, if they're not biting Golden's they're probably not biting at all
Mr. Richard I caught 25 shiners that size yesterday cut them up and froze them will blue cats eat them. I’ve been subscribed for so very long and u have helped me catch fish so I do appreciate u
Mr. Richard that was a fine video showing how to catch flatheads on rod & reel. With the right bait and right structure you can usually take one or two home for the skillet. In my opinion they are the best eating catfish that swims. Thats for another great VID. Lou from Texas
This man is telling the truth about fishing I have personally fish there it's part of guntersville lake only scottsboro side before you start to go up the hill to fort Payne Alabama some of the best fishing there is great video sir really enjoy it keep it up
Nice cats Richard...I was n hurricane Michael right in the eye I'm from PC FL Parker.. it got nasty the most damage and destruction I've ever seen but I never stopped watching the fishing machine...thanks man this channel is great can't believe u haven't hit a million yet.
Hey Richard I love your show. If you really want to catch some big flatheads come to Arizona. There's a certain time during the season that the flatheads come down the Salt River into Roosevelt Lake and you can catch some Whoppers
Great video....loved it i hope you can do more of those flathead videos and catch a giant .......that would be incrediable. Keep them comeing best fishing videos ever....
I got some of them weight slides at walmart and I noticed they smelled really strong and weird like some cheap plastic does so I was skeptical to use them. Nice to see it doesn't seem to matter! Its certainly a much faster method of changing weights than cutting your line.
I had one of those all star rods. it was my favorite all around go to rod until it broke on a 30 pound channel cat. Still landed the fish. My pb. Good rods though.
Here in California we finally got some rain and the weather has been cold but the fish have been biting like crazy! I was gonna take a break but this video put me in the mood to fish! 😂🤣😂🤣
I use to fish with my father in law on the Arkansas before he died we had some good times catching big blues an flatheads I miss it an him an yes big bait big fish brother 👍👍
Love those catfish videos...just watched your past 2 videos as well...All great videos..Keep on fishing and making those wonderful videos ...I will keep learning and fishing as well...LOVE IT...God bles
Pumpkinseed and green sunfish are my two my favorite flathead baits.....but that might be because it’s what I use.....also caught some on crawfish of all things....but just about anything that swims will eat a crawfish if presented right.....
You like that BB comber bridge. I always start about one hundred yards above it and drift down with the current using shad. Dropping them down strait under the boat. 10 pound cats are average. 40 pounders are common. Keep the boat 25 foot deep at the bottom of the first break fish 20 to 15 feet. Big cats all day long. The best part of that is you are close enough to the weeds and ledges you killing those big gville bass while in between the ten minute periods of catfish bites.
Just found ur channel. The videos are awesome bubba. My PB flat head is 65lbs from the heart of pa after catching over 10 tiny flats. Big bait provides. Always a blue gill catch
Just found your channel and I enjoy it. Growing up on the Kissimmee chain and recently moving to Section, Al there is a learning curve to fishing the river. I got lots of tips from your video that is helping me figure it out. I will try some of them soon.
@@mwatkins2464 section is on top of sand mountain over looking lake Guntersville. The bridge in this video is the one I drive over everyday to get to work.
I think flathead are better eating, than channels, but they all are good.I used to catch some big ones too. I want to get back into it, but its hard with my job.
I'm about to start fishing a small lake on a small river in south Alabama that is not really known for large catfish. I'm hoping I can figure it out though. I love watching your videos man....Roll Tide!!!
Got my mug of coffee and my iPad, and I’m on the porch watching my fishing buddy (whom I’ve never met). What a morning.👍
One of the few channels you can give a thumbs up before watching!

I like fishing for day time flats too, some people think they only bite at night.
Michael Harper I caught my 2 biggest flatheads in the middle of the day in July and August bright sunshine.
I agree!!
