Amazing as usual Steve! Kyle's hospitality is second to none and I'm so glad their generosity helped put this experience together. Can't wait to have you in Austin 🍻
If you ever head back, some can’t miss breweries are Zillicoah (mainly open fermented lagers), Zebulon (limited hours and a bit outside the city but we’ll worth it), Eurisko, and New Origin. Cellarest also does some very cool stuff and is worth a visit.
Love this. Such cool guys to hang out with, and yeah it’s so weird to make beer and have other people point cameras at you. Showing up with bottles Westy 12 - you da man!!
Going to Ashville in August with the family. Can't wait! Might check out some of these places. If you ever find yourself in Huntsville, Alabama, we have some decent beer joints in my opinion.
@@TheApartmentBrewer We got Burial on the last visit, some years ago now, very good! Will definitely check out DSSOLVR too! I'm prepping with a little Trappist brewing in a couple of weeks. It'll be my first BIAB.
@@TheApartmentBrewer When my wife & I were there a few years ago, we sure tried! We hit 8 in one day. Sounded like a good idea at the time! Slowed it down and hit another 8 over the next 2 days. Love Asheville
Mr Apartment! When are you coming to Sweden to tour our breweries? I have asked Mr Gash Slug from 'The home Brew Network' RUclips channel down there in Australia the same question, he seems to also be avoiding me also!
Really enjoyed this video. Long overdue for a return to Asheville. Do you know if the hoppy lager you brewed exists as a recipe? I’d love to try it out. Thanks!
You were just steps from my bar in this video at one point... Of course we only carry European beer because well... Enough American brew in town. It's also what I grew up on because craft didn't exist back then and also what I tend to brew myself. Actually kegging a Burton Ale this weekend.
Cool video. I was shocked to see such a height difference between you three in the one picture. I didnt peg CH for being so tall and I would have thought you would have been one of the taller of the three. I guess thats part of you filming process..lol
@@TheApartmentBrewer See I would have thought you were closer to 6'. Its funny I have met people in person after watching videos before and sometimes Im dead on and others Im way off.
Duuuude! Great video. Thanks so much for coming down to AVL and hanging with us. Helluva time!
What a great weekend! Thanks for having me and thanks for everything!
Well done! Loved watching this!
LET'S GET A SUPER THANKS TRAIN GOING!!!!
Much love, thanks my dude!
Amazing as usual Steve! Kyle's hospitality is second to none and I'm so glad their generosity helped put this experience together. Can't wait to have you in Austin 🍻

Thank you Martin!! Yeah it's definitely a different experience but I'm so thankful! More than happy to share those Westys with a captive audience!!
What a great bunch of people. Love HBforlife, Clawhammer and Apartment B. Wish it was me running into these guys...
Looks like an awesome and fun trip! I gotta make it out to Ashland someday and this was an awesome preview of what to expect
Asheville is an awesome place, you would love it! Cheers Trent!
Good stuff Steve! Thanks for taking us with you.. you guys are my favorite homebrew channels!
I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!
I went to Asheville in '99 for the BrewGrass festival, saw the Bad Livers play.
That was awesome, both the collab, but also getting to see what you got upto. This vlog-style content is nice to watch
Thanks! I enjoy them too, just gotta remember to take more video and less stills lol
Great video! So cool to see brewers come together and share the love of the craft. Looks like a great time was had by all. Cheers!
It really was a great trip, lots of fun working with these guys in person!
Love HighWore's Gose. Also you have to try Red Oak in NC they specialize in German lagers and follow the purity law
Awesome video AB! Asheville looks like a hell of a time. Cheers
Thank you! It was an awesome place to spend a weekend but a full week would have been even better!
Chill vibes all around! Great vid, cheers Steve!!!
Cheers Brian! Cheers to eating good and drinking good!

They're delicious!
Looks amazing! What a weekend!
It was a ton of fun!
Looks like an awesome time, and I love Asheville! Cool look at the behind the scenes.

Great video man and as always super sick to see you all together
I'm a little jealous :-) Fun to see y'all together. Cheers !
It was a great time!
Next time you're there you ought to check out the Biltmore Estate. The largest mansion in the U.S. I gotta start planning a trip to Asheville soon lol
Nice! I'll put it on the list for next time!
Great video as always! Next time you come, gotta hit up Zillicoah. Unbelievably incredible lagers.
I heard no less than 3 recommations for zillacoah lagers while I was there!! Would have loved to try it but I'll have to save it for next time
Really good video! That’s the way to make a weekend! Had the chance to visit 2019 and can’t wait to go back.
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video! It's a great town!
Wicked weed bar in Charlotte is a tradition every time I go through!
It's a bit pricey but a good way to kill time and great beer
Nice vid! It looks like you guys had a good time. Cheers!
It was a blast!
Sweet. Apartment 4 Life!
It was a blast!
So you rode in the Green Lizard and lived to ride again, lol. 🦎
Hahaha still here to tell the tale!
Glad you had a cool trip to Asheville like to check it out some day.
It's a very fun town!
Went there this weekend! It was awesome. Such good breweries
There are so many too, it's impossible to visit them all in a short weekend!

Hahaha what happens in Asheville...

We're gonna collab on a greenhouse gas beer!

Thank you! Its a great beer city! The recipe will be available when Clawhammer publishes their video later this week.

No way! What's your bar?
@@TheApartmentBrewer it's called Bottle Riot. Right down from Wedge. My bar was basically built on Wedge beer 🤣
That's awesome!! I'll be sure to check it out next time
@@TheApartmentBrewer next time check out Zebulon and Eurisko. Stellar breweries here.

How did you brew and ferment so fast, I thought your trip to Asheville was only a few days? Did you use kveik to get it to ferment quickly?
Kyle brewed the beer a few weeks prior
@@TheApartmentBrewer Ahh that makes sense ;)
Recipe for talus lager?
Wait for clawhammer to publish their video, they'll have the recipe
next time you're at burial try an IPA. They make some killers
just got to the part where you said you like variety other than ipas lol
I believe you! I wish we had more time to try more!
🇧🇷 very good!
Just got done reading the book, one second after. This was a crazy coincidence since I’m one of your faithful subscribers!
You should check it out!
Nice!
Wow that is one obscure shirt CH has on…
I cried cuz you didn’t invite me and I’m one of the top rated home brewing channels
Next time!
Smh wicked weed
I mean I liked what they had going on, but there's plenty of independent craft in Asheville as well
