it was my favorite version of Kyo too, until I got used to playing with the basic version of Kyo from KOF XIII.
So, I started to like the basic Kyo more.

😂😂 That was mi with the console version of 00' I swore I had the game/mi characters down pack. Until I seen mofos pulled off crazy 💩 in human🆚human, including PV combos. Talk about feeling like trash. 😭
Nests kyo is still powerful with those combos.

Why did SNK change Kyo's VA? This guy was so damn great.
They changed almost all of them. They never said why. My guess is they just wanted a younger cast, since the classic one were on their 50-70s. The new voice of Kyo is also the voice of Luke in SF. So they figured it was time for a change. Some VAs from older games still remain like Athena, Geese, King. But all the main ones are just younger ones. Maybe price/demand of seiyuus as well. But heck, Shingo’s classic VA came back, and he’s one of the most famous and prominent anime VAs right now in Japan. So I’m gonna guess, it was SNK’s desire to grab new voices that could last another 20-30 years.

@@RevengerPhoenix The new VA has improved in XV but it XIV he was underwhelming. After looking it up, yeah Kyo's VA is 55. He sounds amazing.
@@CaptainVulcan Yeah, apparently one of the new conditions established by the unions was that no actor could play more than one character, so that's why a lot of them had to be recast.

I think that first combo can be slightly altered for a PV combo. But a combo like that will take a crazy minute to confirm this on mi own..😅

Well. SNK kind of fumbled with the design. Since this isn't really nests kyo. But kyo kusanagi from KoF '98.
@@vandagylon2885 Pretty much, yeah. I think he's missing his 214 C and the MAX version of his fire pillar super if memory serves me, but he is INDEED closer to his '98 iteration than his NESTS Saga one. Wonder why I don't see too many people talk about it?

SNK didnt really have a solid plan way back in KOF 94, as it could fail. Which is why Orochi Saga saw a shoto (94, 95) and rekka style.
But they nailed it in NESTS Saga. Personally it should have been AntiNESTS Style Kyo since the Kyo clones use his old shoto and rekka moves.
Design in terms of artwork is Nest style, @@vandagylon2885. Design in terms of fighting style is more so 97', but it's not a fumble, rather a percentage of the two. As his Neo Max is the Sm-Sexier version of his "182", which was 1st introduced in 00'. It's other factors that's not recognized by most as to why it's a 50/50, 70/30 concept. In other words, you couldn't name him "Orochi Style Kyo" either, knowing the Yr his NeoMax originated from. It's other loop hole factors as to why this works as well.
It's the Kyo I can't use. Always exciting to watch.

At this point I'm starting to lose hope that we will ever get this on steam. I waited so long for this game to get rollback netcode and now that is finally does, it's console exclusive.
So... Allow mi to sadly conform this answer for you. I've done some digging & came across interesting facts about XIII that plays apart on why y'all will never get G-M... When this game originally dropped, it's overall sale for the P-S 3 was $300K. Shockingly enough, it sold more on Xbox($330K). Even with this fast, G-M still isn't available for at all for the current Xbox. Which means, if they're not willing to sell G-M to a system that sold more than the other, it's truly no chance for stream at all...😔

Evil Ash is not a playable character he is literally the final boss
combos you can only do as the last character.
2 out of 3 of them at lease. The first combos requires you to be just the second character.

Well, every fighting game has it's long and impressive combos in practice mode that are almost rare to do in real matches. So flashy combos aren't the most important thing, it's more important to learn the fundamentals.
@@axelmiramontes409 almost rare ? check the fate/unlimited codes tournament at japan. They did every long combo and super hard combo in real matches meanwhile american can't even do that half, it's all about skill issues
