I would add to select something you are really interested in to read and start with short books so you feel a sense of accomplisment when you finish the book. I am an avid reader and read 2-4 books a week. I use my phone to 'listen' to videos like yours to improve my listening skills. I put the video on, then put the phone down and LISTEN! I don't allow myself to comment until I listen to the entire video. In general I am not a fan of audio books, but considering trying a couple to again improve my listening skills. Thanks for a great video and congratulations you are already over 2000 subscribers!
yes! thes are really great ideas! And that seems like a great approach to absorbing youtube videos as well. Thanks Always great to get a comment from you!
Thanks for the advice! I read one chapter of a book I bought like 2-3 years ago, and just from reading one chapter I want to read more, because now I want to keep the story going
Didn't known reading could fix attention spans, in this world of doomscrolling and fast progress slowing Down can take us a long way That's what I learnt from this vid ❤ Also isn't it sad that inventions that are supposed to make our lives easier make it a living hell at times by taking away our mental peace?
My problem is that reading makes me think, and thinking makes me write, and somehow I end up at three in the morning writing about moral subjectivism versus virtue ethics or something 😂
@NaphtaliRosenberg it is actually, but it destroys my hard earned sleep pattern 😂 which is also a very vital thing for readers. You can't do much, when your mind is clouded by the lack of sleep and/or poor diet.

That's an interesting strategy, I'll have to try it out! Do you have any videos you've found that can help with this practice?
Thanks for the advice!
