A nice.... "feature" of Illaoi's kit is that if you have only 40 mana, you can quickly press first Q and during the slam animation you can W for no mana because the game still thinks you had 40 mana instead of 0. The joys of maining the Tentacle Mommy.
Something important to note: The clone has it's own heartsteel proc, but doesn't share the cooldown between E casts. The clone is considered a completely new champion every time it's summoned, regardless if it's the same base champion over and over. So you can potentially get heartsteel stacks off E cooldown alone if you land it every time.

Only actual downside there was the death timer tbh. If anything that further guaranteed their loss.
As a Illaoi main this was my kind of game! Freaking love the moments when the enemy goes "Oh we got him now!" turning into "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!" Also, got to love Morg going "Trash mid and top and jg" at the end XD
