This channel highlights Jack Frank's vast collection of archival and historic Tulsa Oklahoma films and documentaries.

I grew up in Broken Arrow couldn't wait for Friday night to come for ken's pizza. Now I'm in Windsor Missouri but we do have mazzios! Ken Selby had it going on back then...

Ahhhhh, Ken's pizza. I used to go to a nearby Ken's every day when I was in high school for their lunch buffet.
I like the 1970s style suburban kitchen in the first advert, especially the conventional oven with twin doors--reminds me of the Partridge/Brady ovens! My mom has a house buit in 1967 that has a GE oven just like that which still works!

Back then, easy listening/soft rock stations were everywhere. Very popular with dental facilities and libraries

GREW UP IN BROKEN ARROW IN THE 70s AND 80s AND RECALL ALL THESE WELL!...MAKES ME HOMESICK AS I NOW LIVE IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA!! I STILL GO TO THE KEN'S IN SAPULPA WHEN I VISIT, AS WELL AS HIT THE MAZZIOS FOR KEN'S STYLE PEPPERONI!
I didn't know their were any Ken's left anywhere! I thought they all got rebranded as Mazzios (which to me isn't the same as Ken's).
Ken Selby founded both Kens Pizza and Mazzios.

Not sure she had dishes in there at same time as her meal
Crazy....but for awhile that was the fad. People were cooking food wrapped in foil and putting them under the hood of their car to cook while they drove!!!
People still do it. Even with meats and side dishes.
