I LIVE IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA NOW BUT GREW UP IN BROKEN ARROW! I REMEMBER ALL THESE COMMERCIALS, ESPECIALLY THE ARKANSAS VALLEY STATE BANK ONE!....MY GRANDPA AND PARENTS HAD ACCOUNTS THERE FOR MANY YEARS!...THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!
I miss Otasco so much….dad would shop for tires, my brother would shop the sporting goods, mom shopped the gardening tools and I played at the Atari game display…YARS REVENGE on a Saturday afternoon!!! Take me back there….please….
@@GaryCalvert36 Yes, but the "carry out/delivery" culture has cheapened the pizza experience for me. I miss the old days when going out for pizza was an event. You could go to a Mazzios or a Pizza Hut, smell the aroma of hot pizza baking, pick a song on the jukebox, get a nice salad while your pizza is being made ready, and then having a hot fresh pizza delivered right to your table!
😮wow! A walk down memory lane (it's too bad I don't know 😕 all these ads)but it's good see what they in the past (rather if those places are still in business or not), sometimes I wish I could see an ad from the past of a place nearby me (even though I live closer to Claremore which is a problem)anyway that's cool 😎.
Its a commercial for Sipes, and they use Woodland Hills Mall as a backdrop shot for their commercial. Sipes never indicated they located at 71st & Memorial
Does anyone remember the "Oklahoma's Green Country" tourism campaign commercials (produced by the Oklahoma Tourism Commission, I think) made during the late 60's -early 70's???
My dad worked for Channel 8 back in the day and voiced that Allen’s TV and Appliance commercial! Thank you for sharing this!
I loved Uncle Zeb. Even got his autograph once at the Fairgrounds. :)
What a flashback! I was between about 8 and 13 when these aired, so I remember so many of them. Thanks for sharing these!

Too bad their pizzas look better than they taste. It's been that way my whole life.

Would like to see the old "Super cool John Mount" commercials. "The competition just keeps on picking at Super Cool John Mount"...
11:45 - I lived in BA from ‘72 to ‘85. 10 times the population now than when I moved there.

Jack, GREAT VIDEO!! Who is the actor in the "Today's Homes" mobile homes commercial? It looks like a former News 8 sportscaster.
Bob Carpenter who was with KTUL

But no worries, corporate profits are at record highs. It’ll be ok
I don't remember Sipes being at 71st & Lewis.

7826 S Lewis Ave Was Sipes until 1986 and became a Buds until 1992. It is now where the Hilton by the Walmart near ORU is.
Wasted many hours at woodland as a teenager
