      @@brianturner9618 well the 250 is very powerful but it has very good low end torque so if you keep it slow while you learn I think it’ll be better. The yz125 has no low end so you have to be in the power band to have any power which is hard to control for a beginner.. I found that out the hard way

    Sounds like your 125 wasn't setup properly, especially if you felt like you couldn't lug at the speeds shown in this video as a 125 would be perfectly fine for that. Hill's to an extent I agree with you but aside from that I don't really agree with what you are saying, single track 125 is better not sure why you'd say a 125 ruins you know single track compared to the 250? Unless you are 200lbs or more, the 125 would be better in all areas aside from the hill climbs which the 250 is much easier to use

    • @BrapGenius
      @BrapGenius  2 года назад

      The trails in this video aren’t what I normally ride on. These were very smooth compared to the trails I’m usually which are extremely rocky and I live in the mountains so most of my riding is hills. I started on a yz125 and it was a horrible bike for the terrain I was riding in. When I got the 250 having that low end torque made the same trails so much easier to ride. I’m not saying the 125 couldn’t be set up to be a good woods bike, but I am saying a stock 125 vs stock 250 comparison shows the 250 is much better for the kind of riding I do
