  • Ain't no sunshine loop-cover w/vocals, played and recorded with: Fender Ultra Strat (half step down tuning, gauge 11-48 Ernie Ball Power Slinky strings), Universal Audio Dream '65 reverb amp modeller | Shure SM57 mic as vocal mic, Shure SE215 isolating earphones for monitoring, Boss RC600 used as loop-station + audio-interface + drums.

    Excellent work man. I can see you've made some decent progress on highlighting chord tones.
    Remember, try to stay away from the major 3rd as much as possible. A full bend, or slide, passing over the major 3rd and reaching the IV root note is alright. But do not bend to the 3rd. It will rarely sound good over minor progressions.
    Also, try to learn the BB box. This will open up the fretboard and is definetely crucial over major and minor progressions.
    Voice is flawless.

      Thanks! Also for all the advice, will try to do my best. And yes, I should definitely step out from my comfort zone for a more open fretboard, it is in process.
