- Perfect weather for Pomona Swap Meet this month and the crowds came out to check out what was here. Plenty of classic cars, muscle cars, lowriders, hot rods, customs, Volkswagens, pickup trucks, and other antique autos on display and for sale.

Mike, there were some nice cars in this show, though truth be told, for some of the cars for sale the owners would have to pay me to take them away & crush them. ;)

We've had passes for many years now. It's getting to be expensive though. We go a couple of times a months.

Those Bullnose and Bricknose F150's are starting to get to be a popular build because they are the last of the cheap classic trucks that people can actually afford and work on in their garage with little more than a basic tool set.
They’ll get expensive too

They should have a big car show there and use all of the property there
There’s a few car shows held at Fairplex. Grand National Roadster Show and LA Roadsters. This year there’s a Grand National Truck Show and the In-N-Out 75th anniversary show here as well.

Most of the asking prices at Pomona tend to be very high

What is the round tubular thing (49:57) sticking out of the back window of the 38 low rider? I've seen those in other Low Rider videos (Diablo 666) and can't figure out what they are? Good videos for eyes on the shows. It's still kind of winter here so it's great to see So Cal in all it's glory.

THIS IS A MUCH DIFFERENT SWAP MEET THAN THE ONE I ATTENDED IN 1985 IT HAD AT LEAS 500 CORVETTES AND CARS WERE LINED UP BY BADGE AND YEAR. I WAS LOOKING FOR A 1965 CADILLAC ANY MODEL OD DEVILLES AND FLEETWOODS AS I HAD OWNED ALL OF THOSE 2- 65 DEVILLE CONV.; 2 -FLEETWOOD BROUGHAMS;1 ELDORADO CONV. THERE WERE ABOUT 30 65 CADILACS AND ALL WERE GONE BEFORE I DECIDED ON ANYONE. TO LATE .AND THE PRICES RANGED FRO, $5,000 TO$18,000 FOR A ONW OWNED 59 SERIES 62 CONV. .
I remember when it was much fuller and there were more cars for sale. The prices were better then and many cars got sold.

You really should lift your camera up a bit to see the tops of cars. The down angle can be a bit annoying. I know you're trying to keep faces out of the frame but that can be done post production. Just a suggestion.
Mike, I enjoyed Pomona yesterday, I might be interested in your dentist's woodie. Do you know if he sold it yesterday, and does it have a modern drive train....I missed his phone number, I think i'll rerun the video and try to catch it . Thank's wayne
