Considering this line of kitchen knives or Kramer Carbon 2.0. Ever use Kramers? If so what is your input?

Never heard of that brand, sorry

I use a Kramer Carbon 8" chef (predecessor of 2.0, discontinued). Differences between 2 gens are minor: Scale material, distal taper ratio and shoulder profile. I'd prefer old Gen 1. It replaced my Masamoto gyuto VG 240mm. That's how good it is.
Superb balance and total weight. It's heavier than most chef knives, but once you get used to it, you can't go back. Profile's just right.
Super fine and consistent crystal. Sharp it to 9~12 degrees, double bevel, 50/50. It will stay there for a good time. I don't keep a bread knife, this chef is sharp enough.
The patina takes about 1 month to build, until then, you need to pay attention to keep it dried quickly.
Choose between the 8" or 10" chef. If your counter is so narrow, consider the 6" chef. Other Kramer Carbon models are not interesting, in my opinion.

Idk if I like the price point for this knife especially for the prep cook on a budget

This all depends .. personally I find value in buying a good knife that will last .. instead of buying tons of subpar knifes for cheap.. but quality comes with a price.. so think about it before you buy 5 different knives to only end up buying a life knife.. if you love the kitchen and what you do in the kitchen it’s pretty much a no brainer to save up and get a knife that will stay with you for life ..

Too pricey! Does it have a warranty?

Backed by Benchmade's lifetime warranty and is supported by their life sharp program, just like their regular knives.

Benchmade gave me this knife when I retired after 13 years of service. I love it
