I hear what you’re saying but this isn’t a Japanese made knife. It’s USA CPM154 blade steel, coated and with proper heat treat for maximum toughness/edge retention, it has great non-corrosive features, the edge bevel is improved to prevent chipping and the richlite handle material is a great compliment to the overall aesthetics.
