This is so far one of the best micro build out there, I have successfully made this with zero issues, excellent work 👍
Hamza Ibrahim Awesome!! I would love to see a picture of it, you could send it on Instagram @joecarpinorc or Joe Carpino on Facebook
Can you post a step by step instruction including the material needed
I cant stop watching this video
Super awesome build I’m wanting to do the same as well as hot wire cutting foam plates and molding them together for 6S 70/90mm. Awesome video and congratulations on your beautiful build. ❤️😎
nvm looked at plans. looks like an awesome plane and I cant wait to build one!
Very nice video
Flitetest got some inspiration for their new type-a background music from you it seems like.
fantastic job, she flies great 👍
Micro Birds Thanks! Got the F-16 coming out tomorrow!
dang, nice job
Fantastic Nano F-15! Flies great! Very well done indeed ;-) What is the Wingspan of your Nano F-15? See you in the Air!
Ground Control RC about a 6-7 inch wingspan
@@joecarpino , great job!
I am 10 years old and I am making this right now I have already cut the parts out!😊
This so cool! Definitely going to build one, and maybe experiment with an ultra slow indoor something!
The RC Pilots Log if you do an ultra slow indoor style plane definitely get the night vapor umx board. It’s super small and light
Cant wait for another plane build. Good job friend. +1 sub from me
Great plane
well, i think i found a new favorite youtube channel.
also what kind of foam are you using?
Thanks that means a lot! Also I use readiboard foam with the paper pealed off and foam plates from the dollar store. I try to keep my projects as cheap as possible so it’s easy for other people to make, also the cheap stuff is often lighter lol
Thanks being a 12 year old in the hobby it’s great that your using cheap materials
Very nice, can't wait to try it out.
impressive. nice job!
Yo thats so cool, built one yesterday and it weighs 18g without battery, but im using a 720 motor. Would like to ask what prop size its using
woaww , t's look like a very pleasant airplane to fly
MAKE ' N FLY RC it’s a handful but it’s a lot of fun!
Really nice cool jet!!!
Test Fly RC thanks!
Can I use 27mhz old RC car transceiver , even if I use it though what will be its range ?
Sadly 27mhz only goes like 10ft max
Joe - this looks great, and really good of you to make the plans available.
Could you please put a scale on the plans (e.g. just a 3 inch or 100mm line saying how long it is) - I'm in the UK and our paper is a different size etc. - it's just taken me ages to find a way of stopping the printer software from scaling the plans to fit my paper (which would be a different size from your orginal plans). In the end I had to create my own scale and then guess that the opening for the motor is 8mm wide) and scale from that - hopefully I'm close enough.
Cheers,
Mike
Yes the plans are very out-dated. I’m going to make new versions and have a scaling ruler on it. Thanks for your input!
@@joecarpino That's great - thanks. Just building my F-16 at th emoment, waiting for F-15 motors to arrive :)
good boy
Hi Joe. What is the thickness of the foamboard you used. Thanks
if we cant connect the fs-i6 transmitter to the reciver can you please send me a sutable reciver to the flysky i6 transmitter
Bro do u have fa-18 Hornet with same scale
From Bangladesh🇧🇩♥♥♥
Me too🇧🇩
Would it be possible to put a micro edf?
Love the vids man. What kind of wire do you use to make the servo linkages and what foam do you use for these builds?
I would like to ask if I could use an fs-ia6b receiver instead?
and what is the size we should take for the printout
This is cool
Ryan Schwark aye my guy😂
Can we connect this reciver to fs-i6 transmitter
It an awesome build , can I get PDF of the model for print?
The link is in the description
@joe carpino thank you so much
we got some ft music up in here 5:11
where can we buy the carbon rods
Did you take the paper off the foam board or did you leave it on?
Grant Erlinder I peeled it off, it makes it so much lighter
great .... can it fly like a paper plane without motor ??
Yeah you can build this as a chuck glider
I vote for plans!
Christopher Polles I’ll get working on them as soon as possible👍
It's awesome, how much is its total mass?
dog big I think I remember it being around 20 grams
Hey there,
I would like to know the thickness of foam is it 3mm or less?
😊
It’s a combination of both. The fuselage is around 4mm. And the wings and empennage are close to 1.5mm
I can't believe I'm just finding this 😅 I wanna build one now but all my transmitters are for my 1/24 scale cars. Do you have a recommendation for cheap onn like the one you have?
I use a DX8e which is a fantastic transmitter for the price that you’ll never have to replace. Of course there’s the DX6e which is the same thing but with 2 less channels and it’s cheaper. In my opinion spektrum transmitters are the most reliable for this kind of application
Can I be able to make it???
I just have a motor , battery and a controller which I got in a mini hand helicopter.
Soo , can I .
Does your helicopter have servos? Or is it a differential thrust setup where there’s 2 motors that are used to control it
Hmmm, I don’t even have Servors . 😥 . But good video . Make more videos and please make a video only using motor , battery and controller
@@canisrigelm0627 if yours has 2 motors that spin differential for control you can make on of the ones I have like the F-16 or F-35 I have and modify it so it can work off of differential thrust
The 2 motor are definitely, I can use it at both sides
@@canisrigelm0627 Ok so what you can do if you make sure that they go in the right direction is download the F-16 plans linked in the description of my video and don’t cut out the control surfaces. Instead just mount the motors on the back and set it up there
The propellers that come with the motors you recommend are to large. Did you cut them down to size?
Pat Adamson Yes, I cut them down to about 2 inches. As close to the fuselage walls as you can make them without touching. If your building one I would love to see it!
You are genius. This is just amazing job. Regards.
Love the video!! Love the work
Where do you get your foam??
Dwayne Ford I get the foam board (for the fuselage) from dollar tree and the rest of the plane is foam plates which you can get anywhere
how much did the electronics cost?
not including the transmitter
Bro, can micro receiver can work with flysky transmitter , please tell🤓🤓🤓
I just added the link for the flysky receiver, check in the description.
@@joecarpino thanks bro🤟🤟🤓
Awesome! Hope you can share plan.. i wanna build a squall but in same size, hope i could use same setup motor and electronics
Rob Hein The motor has the perfect amount of power for little pusher jets this size, and the electronics are super small and work great. I’m also working on a 40mm 3D printed 8 blade brushed EDF that would be perfect for a Micro Squall
Joe Carpino sounds awesome, i will follow for any update 🤘
Plans are up, forgot to reply
Where did you plug the motor on your receiver?
jungeun Shin There is 2 small pads next to the battery leads, one is blank and one has an m. The M is positive but it doesn’t matter which is positive or negative
Can you download the plans without downloading an app?
Paul Morris I haven’t found a proper way of posting the PDFs (like flitetest for example) but you should be able to either hold down/click on the image and save it. On the computer there is 3 dots in the bottom corner, if you click that you can save it as a file. If this doesn’t work please reach out to me again.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💡
Are you sure these are the right servos they don't fit in the reciever
Josiah Foster I am so sorry, I thought those were the ones I got. They ended up having a different connector size. This is the correct one: hobbyking.com/en_us/hk-5320-ultra-micro-digital-servo-1-7g-0-05sec-0-075kg-1.html
@@joecarpino thank you very much, I'll probably just replace the plugs but that was a great video
Great! Sorry about that again.
@@joecarpino hi so the servos fit now but do you have to program them to work or should they work as soon as you plug them in, thanks
Josiah Foster they should work right when you bind the receiver to your transmitter. And then you can set throws through your transmitter settings
Try av 88 harrier plane! This size vtol
Aklapother pother pothik re bhai I messed around with the idea, maybe I’ll try it. Will definitely be a challenge
@@joecarpino bro dont make so pressure use rc quad drone only but the skin colour should be too realistic tnq & i want to give u more aircraft model ideas if u want! This size should be like this
Aklapother pother pothik re bhai Kinda like my F-4 Phantom on my channel.
@@joecarpino correct & the colour should be realistic
Can i fly this small jet in indoor???
Lois Millet it’s a little bit fast for indoor since it has very little wing area. I built it to go fast but it handles the wind well so it’s not hard to fly.
If you set the throws pretty high you should be able to fly in a large gym
Joe Carpino okay thanks i will try
I have built One and i am waiting for the esc and receiver
Lois Millet awesome! How hard/easy was it to build? We’re the plans easy to follow?
Joe Carpino easy to build
And the plan is also easy to follow
Dude how?
Can you recommend receivers for flysky ia6
jungeun Shin I couldn’t find any like the one I used as an frsky frequency but this one is your best bet. It just requires a lot of soldering. banggood.com banggood.app.link/O0qPsIlHp2 you could also try using one of those umx linear servo boards but you would just need to modify the airframe.
@@joecarpino oh, I mean flysky, not frsky.
And will it be OK to put mini esc and receiver on the plane? And can I get the original video? If you can I will tell you my E-mail address.(Cause this acount is mine mother's) And thank you for your answer.
Here is my email: jjc1228drums@icloud.com
Sorry, I read flysky wrong. I will do more research on an flysky reciever. And most the ultra micro receivers have a build in 3A brush esc but if you want to you could probably run an external brushless esc. And what do you mean by original video?
jungeun Shin actually I just found the exact receiver but in flysky frequency. banggood.app.link/L2Ri6hTRp2
@@joecarpino i've already found it beforebut will it be compatible with thf fs-i6 transmitter? I mean the cheap 6 channel one.
p.s. thank you for doing research and you don't have to call my full name. since this is my mum's account just call me Anthony
Only problem with this video is that the assembly is too fast for newbies
Coreless motor 😔
