      yeah we have dealt with that. pay this man. with our qb situation. let's just add extra lineman and run the ball 30 times. i'm fine with the fewer points if we don't have the watch the qb fumble away the game again.

    Well I'm happy to hear he's not trying to flip or sounds like he's not going to flip but stranger things have happened ex. Williams Nwari...we thought he was committed but he flipped to mizzou!! It's hard w transfer portal and NIL these days to find guys like Fasusi who want to commit for real!! Nice to hear this guy's thanks I've been worried!!

    Firing the HC at this point wouldn’t fix anything. Venables isn’t the OC. And our problem is we need an OC- haven’t had one all year. On top of that injuries and an inexperienced o line.
    Not even saban could have fixed this season with these problems

      @@geraldpage4401 BV and he has to live with it. probably took 10 years off of his life. IF ou gets a new coach that screws up the defense then nothing changes. Venables deserves to lose his job. I am fine with another year though. Unless there is a homerun hire that excites recruits and donors a firing will not solve this issue. They need someone that can run the offensive side of the ball. That being said he has 2 very tough games in front of him. get blown out twice and he isn't saving his job.

    Ppl saying to gut the staff again are so clueless. The defense went from bottom 25 to top 15. If the offense coukd be in the top 75 we would have a top 5 defense and possibly undefeated. The offense and injuries are killing the team.

    For all your so-called experts that are saying BV should be fired and I guess you know 95% more than the coaching staff does as a whole.
    If BV is not there, you will lose your coaching staff, massive transfers. A lot of the recruiting class the analyst most likely the sole mission the medical staff, the nutrition, hydration, and recovery staff. Training, staff and subordinates equipment, and on FIELD SUPPORT STAFF, IT CAN GET WORSE IF YOU WOULD LOSE BETWEEN 200 and 350 people!!! Could take 3 to 4 years just to fix!!!
    On a personal note, you have the best recruiting updates by far keep up the good work as a team

      Thank the Lord for people like you that see and talk about the best of Venables instead of the negatives continually spewed by most other fans. I said almost the exact same thing in another podcast earlier. If I'm not mistaken they brought him back because he is such a great defensive mind. Well I think he's done a heck of a job with that. I believe he got so caught up getting defense fixed, he trusted that the offense would be fine with who the offensive coaches weree. I say get the best Offensive Coordinator possible. It has to be one that knows how to develop elite QBs. Arnold is NOT a bad QB. I see in his eyes that he's taking them off of receivers too early worried about the pass rush. I would like to see how even Dillon Gabriel would have handled this. I think I saw 3 really nice pockets for Arnold to throw from in the Whole game. And to beat that, the Offensive Coaches are basically telling him that he needs to throw short quick passes mostly, because of pass protection. It's ruining him. Pray that we get Fasusi, and the 3 others we're after. Next year, with a new Offensive Coordinator, and a truly healthy OU team I truly believe we can and should win 10 games. We also need to make sure we don't let Robinson or Tatum go anywhere.

      Depending on who they replace BV with you could have a winning season within 2 years and be competitive within 3. With BV we just keep going the wrong direction. He is a great DC he is not HC material. The simple fact his most experienced QB hasn't been on the field while the two rookies look worse every week shows you all you need to know.

      What will we ever do with a new medical and nutrition staff?! Lmao you idiot. Serious question: what do you think happens at any school that gets a new HC? What happened at Texas when they fired Herman and brought in Sark? All of Herman’s great nutritionists were lost and what?

    • @DavidSmith-ou3sl
      @DavidSmith-ou3sl 10 дней назад

      What makes you think BV will turn this around? He is the one that hired Seth and Lebby. The HC is in charge of the team as a whole NOT just the defense. This team has regressed in mistake free football. That is coaching. I like BV as a person and a DC but, he is NOT a HC in the SEC.

    The bottom line…injuries are to blame for how this season has gone. The defense can’t do everything, and the O-line can barely/hardly protect the QB. As far as Arnold goes…he’s good, but he has some issues with protecting the ball.

    • @seanenochs8213
      @seanenochs8213 10 дней назад +1

      What happens? I will tell 0:00 you. Just like someone above commented, if Venebles is fired, we will be just about this bad for 3 more years. When a well known Coach and great Defensive mind gets fired, half of the team will disperse and most of his staff goes away too. The new coach would then have to start recruiting his type of players and rebuild. Simple. Keep Brent, hire your new Offensive Coordinator, RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT. Then let's see how a healthy much better offensive team does next year. Can't predict wins until you see who leaves. I don't think we lose many at all. If we don't, I see 10 wins next year. We have to retain Robinson and Tatum at RB. They compliment each other well. Tatum as the change of pace RB, And Robinson, at 6'1 222, the bruiser who can outrun many D backs. Between this year and next, they need to make Tatum work every day running the I will never fumble again drills. Lol. Not kidding

      I love Brent and was so excited to see him hired. However, we’re 3 years in and so many issues from year 1 are still issues. I’m not sure of the ability of these coaches to develop talent. Look at Jordan and Robinson. Why the hell haven’t they played more? Forget redshirting. If guys are any good they’ll be gone after three years anyways. I think Brent is a fantastic coordinator, but he is lacking as a head coach. The proof is in the pudding. As for strength and conditioning, any chance there is a connection between that and all the injuries? How does the University of Oklahoma become so pitiful on the o-line? Apparently, someone is a POOR evaluator of talent. These guys didn’t just walk on the campus and as to play. Sorry for the length, but the problems go SO deep it’s shocking. BTW…Arnold AIN’T the guy!
