If you are going to stop and help definitely get off of the road. Hey Bob glad to see that you and Pearl are still doing well, From Larry and Sandra rally of 2022
Bob, I’m with you on the tire monitoring system. I wouldn’t travel without one. We pull a 5th wheel and ours saved us big time traveling through the Nevada desert just south of Ely. It alerted us of a rapid leak and I was able to get off the road before major damage. Safe Travels and keep the videos roll’in. Jim
Fajitas and tequila. Sounds familiar along with lots of familiar faces. Glad you are still enjoying making vids. One day again our paths will cross. Gary helped me last year with my toppers. He said he needs to replace his this year but he didn't make it to Florida. I saw a car flip over behind me coming back from Mt Charleston once. I turned around and went back along with calling the police. Young girls were texting and flipped the car. Not hurt from what they said but so concerned what her parents were going to do.
Hi Bob! If it was your birthday…Happy Birthday. 😊🎂🎉🥳. It looked like there was room to at least pull over on the dirt shoulder. I definitely would stop. I always have for any accident however I would not park on the main road. People just don’t pay attention. Fun video 😊 oh and as far the toilet I just replace whole toilet not being mechanical like you are. 😊
Thanks Charles, we may replace the toilet next time as they aren't that expensive and ours is getting a little older. We agree, probably not a good idea to stop on the road as anything could happen plus lots of liability.
Good morning Bob and Pearl sorry we missed you at the "Q" We were on Plomosa Rd. We left the day of the Tent. I would of waited to find a safe place to pull over. Knowing the 95 there has a very soft shoulder ,I would of stayed in the street but not until I knew people were pulled over behind me. And pulled out some flares...😢
Hi Doug, we have never boondocked on Plomosa Rd. but it is on the list. We agree with your thought, our coach is way too heavy to pull off the road in that location as we would still be stuck in the sand. That is why we carry the flares as sometimes you have to stop on the road due to emergencies but it is serious and dangerous decision no matter what.
Hi Bob and Pearl. Bob that was a lot of work getting the RV ready. Looks like you have fun in Quartzsite and Happy belated birthday. I think the RV trailer should had moved over as far as he safety could to the right just pass the wrecked car unless he and the rolled car touch each other. Either way, sad.
I hear it quietens down pretty fast once the big tent folds up and heads out of town. Enjoy the rest of your winter season in the desert and the great weather.
Glad you have posted a video we haven’t heard from you 2 in a while , Robert from Ohio !!! I spent thanksgiving in quartzite with Blue Van Dan and lorrie ways it’s my 5 th year in quartzite love the views.
I stopped only when I have a safe place to pull completely off the highway beyond the accident. Unfortunately there’s been times when I could not stop at all but I never want to become part of the tragedy. Always look for the closest mile marker and call 911. 👊👍😎
Another great idea on noting the mile marker to assist the emergency vehicles in finding the location. I don't think there are any great locations in that vicinity to pull an RV off the road.
Looks like you guys had a great time in Quartzite. I personally don’t think I would stop on the road-if their are two people let one off to help til you find a safe place to park-or if you do stop in the road use flairs or cones. Or call highway patrol to notify them if no safe place to stop-
It looked like there was a place not to far where you could pull over. I would never stop on the road. Can't get to the Q yet this year. We are going to the FMCA rally in Tucson in March. Are you going?
We attended one of the Escapees rally there in Tucson about 10 years ago but have not ever attended a FMCA rally but my understanding is they are starting to do a great job with the new FMCA rallies, have fun and learn lots of new stuff.
Yes FMCA will have lots of seminars and information and driving classes for new bee's. They even have training for first timers so they can get the most out of their experience.@@JustPassingThru
I've stalled my car before in traffic right at a stoplight and got out to steer and push my car across the intersection. Immediately the person behind me got out of their car to help me push, leaving their car abandoned. Although I was helped, the car behind me was in harms way. Nothing really happened to it but just the thought of it made me worry. In your case though, the camper driver may have seen what happened to the other driver and immediately stopped to help because time is critical. Some people have that immediate instinct. The driver who hit the trailer though, was just plain STUPID. They need to throw the book at him or her.

Definitely pull over when it's a safe place
Well said Gwen, that is probably the best answer
Hey Guys, so looking forward to your adventures this year. It's been awesome watching your videos through the past few years. I never miss them.
Hi Greg, we appreciate your comments and great to hear you are still following along with our RV Adventure

Bob, I always enjoy your videos and insights. Rena and I are getting ready to retire this year and may see you down the road somewhere.
Congratulations of the upcoming retirement and hope to meet up with ya down the road.
We have the AquaTru countertop pitcher system and LOVE it!
Odds are somebody tried to overtake another var and lost control.
Glad ya'll are safe!
That is a likely cause and it looked like it did not turn out well for someone.
I am with you on the tire monitors they have saved us as well
Great safety device and we feel good about this purchase
Great video! Can't wait to see your travels again this year!
Thanks Patty, we are starting to get excited about planning for 2024 summer travels too. Thanks

We had a great time Don and everyone missed your smiling face around the campfire and domino table, it was definitely a sad day for those folks
We are in Q-Town for the season. Things are getting back to “normal”
Now that the big tent is over.

Hi Tammy, great idea about dropping off someone to help
As with the safety video on aircraft, always put your own mask on first before helping others. Always get your self safe before helping. So sad.
When your grandparents say they are going to be a RUclipsr

no need to stop at this one. there were enough people to help.
There were definitely a lot of emergency vehicles there by the time we arrived.

Never ever stop on the highway and this accident tells you why.
Right on Tim!
Truck woulda smashed the camper no matter where it pulled over. The truck driver was definitely not watching the road.
I think you are right on target, the pick up definitely was not paying attention
@@JustPassingThru I'm currently watching the back of Rob's head where you were just at. (Quartzite)
