You can hear the strain and pain in Amy's voice. Props to Cindy for voice acting! And my heart shatters seeing Tails in pain. "I knew he was sick" OMG TAILS IS TOO PRECIOUS FOR THIS WORLD! And Knuckles shows that he's not kidding when he'd rather flex his muscles.
Yeah, I hated seeing this precious kid hurt
I wish he had more spotlight he’s not really shown a lot in this game

Is it just me, or could I literally hear the pain in Amy’s voice at the start?
Yup the pain caught off guard.. It's even more painful for them because they realized how much Agonizing pain Sonic was Going to Rescue Them. I feel Knuckles was laughing because he is Struggling With Pain and Near his Limit, While Sonic Lasted Much Longer.
I feel that the reason why Sonic could resist the corruption better is Because of his will power and Experience at handling the chaos Emeralds.. Perhaps it's being so used to utilizing the chaos emerald Probably gave him more resistance against The cyber corruption
I wasn't sure about her voice direction at first but it definitely grew on me

As a reminder in their digitized states, Knuckles, Tails, and Any can’t physically feel anything. The corruption is the closest thing to them feeing pain, and it catches Amy and Tails off-guard. But Knuckles? Dude’s used to getting into scuffles. To him, he probably felt more alive than since he got beat up by that Asura and locked away. Course, pain is still pain which is why he still collapsed, but the last echidna’s made of hardy stock compared to the other two who aren’t always training.
amy just says "fuck it, millions more will be in pain if i succumb now, so i'm throwing this pain bullshit the middle finger" like... well, it's literally what Amy would do. she's not the damsel in distress she was in other games
I love the Knuckles is trying to keep score with Sonic and even laughing at the fact he can’t stand against corruption like Sonic can. It really show that rivalry he have with Sonic which we haven’t that often.

I like you can tell Amy and Tails never have felt any truly agonising pain as their reactions are much more terrified and strained at first. But Knuckles who is a man birthed to literally fight, pummel and die for a emerald just *Chuckles* and rather flexes his *Muscles* at the Corruption.

I think after being knocked out by Sonic, shocked by Eggman, and falling a story or two headfirst all within the span of a minute, yeah, Knuckles can take anything

My heart actually dropped when I heard and seen each of them face the pain. Most especially Amy. Knuckles was a bit funny yet it's shocking because he's laughing it off and keeping to himself that he cannot fall under Sonic's accomplishments. I actually felt that...all of it
I love how Tails and Amy were in pain and agony while Knuckles was just laughing it off while in pain and agony.

Seriously the animators had FUN with this game. This is probably the most expressive the characters have been in a game. To me anyways.

I just like knuckle's one, it has so much personallity, the laugh of him, and not giving up not just because he doesn't want to let sonic down, but also hia rivality with sonic as he said "sonic handled four islands in this mess, i'm not going down to just one"

I don't really like Cindy's voice for Amy, but damn, she managed to convey the pain that Amy was feeling extremely well. Something that probably no other voice actress for Amy would manage to.
Man Tails and Amy finally understand Sonic pain of cyber corruption to Tails as a brother and Amy as a friend or girlfriend to Sonic i dont know and the first time i hear her agony for the first time. Knuckles understand too but he laugh of pain like he doesn't care if he get hurt by the corruption and to proof that he still got his pride

I find really it curious how everyone handles the cybercorruption, Amy and Tails suffer the same way but she turns it into determination while he turns it into courage. Knuckles just laughs it off, because of course.

@@mediakira6621That was kinda the whole point of the game to be more serious than forces was. The most serious thing in forces was that eggman won for once and the world was in chaos
Thats why everyones voices got deeped and why the writing and dialoge wasnt just a bunch of stating the obvious or do this then you play as sonic this game had actual risk and stakes in terms of story
@@bjester322tails isn’t doing some super serious voice . Any sounds way too different to me it didn’t fit the design and it’s jarring as hell

As a tails fan I find it hard to believe that we’re not really given an update on what his solo adventure was like or even if we’ll ever get a solo game with him as the main character

@@thedarkknight2424 Well he’s probably seeking new adventures. Or planning some. Like he said to Eggman about station square, he was able to save it. I’d say Sonic’s Dream Team but the timeline, so it could be before Frontiers. But either way, he’s planning a new adventure or is already on his next.
@@BlueBlurAndFriends I just wish we would’ve got to see it, or even play as him for that matter, just picturing the cutescenes with him in a solo game, him having self doubt and possibly ptsd could’ve been explored more by Ian Flynn or even feeling sadness about not believing in himself but then later in the game realizing he’s way more capable than he thinks he is
There’s so much more I want to see from him, I just wish 2024 was his year to shine. I miss tails man

If Amy is gonna sound THAT much older going forwards, I think she's gonna be in need of another costume change.
I think this voice direction is just for this game. Which is really dumb given this comes off as really desperate for the English directors to go “super serious” when the Japanese VAs are just doing it as a normal.
This is only more on the American side, because compared to the Japanese dub, the characters sound just like they always have. I guess it's whimsy to make them sound more mature and deeper on the western side.

Everyone is a princess peach nowadays. I’m not saying Amy is because that’s not the case but Amy use to be more unique back then.

This is the closest thing that’s ever going to satisfy me as far as tails’s emotions go other than that seriously what happened to this kid
I don’t care about him being confident or him being scared, in fact him being scared was something I genuinely loved seeing it showed he really was still a kid and it was satisfying

Her entire performance in this game is over the top “super serious”. It’s a voice that is like 1 percent Amy , and 99 percent Cindy Robinson in a recording booth. Like for gods sake, this isn’t the last of us, just use rhe voice she used in Boom. Not this

They not even in this game but even if they were what Omega he's just a robot
If nothing else, Omega could very well be even more at risk. From what I remember, the cyberization that Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are suffering from have them half here and half in cyberspace. At his roots, Omega is a program developed by Eggman. Sure, Omega has a robotic shell, but I'm sure it'd do little to shield his programming from the influence of Cyberspace. Just look at Sage, if nothing else, Omega could very well end up in a similar state as her.
