I love how after Sonic gets knocked back into base form in the cutscene, it takes basically zero effort for him to power back up into Super, but he has to considerably strain himself to tap back into Cyber. Really shows how much experience Sonic has with the Emeralds' power at this point, and the impact of the Cyber form.

This was WAAAAY more awesome than the fighting The End the first time! Sonic momentarily losing his Super state, being shot out of a cannon (great Sonic X reference), and that final form with the cyber corruption! I was not expecting that crazed face! Just might be the closest we get to the Fleetway version. Absolutely AMAZING!
And that sweet moment with Eggman and Sage at the end! 🥲

This fight might actually be a strong contender for the most badass moment in Sonic’s 32-year history. They took what was meant to be Sonic’s most powerful form and actually made it better in a way that makes sense. The cold, determined way he casually parries attacks and executed that EPIC Grand Slam move… I was losing my mind with every move I made.
*That second form tho…* the power is SO great that Sonic can barely even handle it and goes COMPLETELY animalistic as a result. GOD, the way he thrashes about in the cannon, the very Fleetway-esque eyes, the FANGS, flying at The End with his hands out like he’s ready to strangle someone… Sonic lowkey terrified me there

I loved that Kishimoto delivered on giving us not one but freagin two new forms for Sonic, only things that suck is there isn't anything special for completing this new ending, I was half expecting to at the very least play as the other characters in the other islands, though sadly while we didn't get anything after the endgame this ending was well worth the wait, the rest of the new content is debatable a lot of it was good but there was quite a bit of fat on the bone this time around, but hey at least now with Kishimoto more then likely staying on the team to direct the next game he has a very clear idea now on what we want
New Horizons was hard, almost unfair in some cases, but you can tell the team put their soul, the whole island is like if they had the time to complete the game and make a proper end, honestly the end boss fight was beautiful
I was hoping we'd get playthroughs as other characters via new game+ for beating the game
I was hoping we would get a playable Super Sonic
At this point, I think the Perfect Parry as a toggle would have been a good reward, you already have to be a pretty hardcore player to beat this version of Ouranos, so why not give hardcore players an option to make the entire game harder?
Or even make this mode an alternate method of getting Sonic’s crown, SOMETHING, ANYTHING, would have been better than nothing
Sonic finishing Supreme with all the punches and kicks reminded me a lot of Midoriya using OFA at 100% and this finish was incredible and epic! and we even had a new form of Sonic, albeit temporary (By the way, I liked the detail they gave to the eyes, as if they had a double iris) despite having an idea of the answer, I wonder if they will maintain even a small fraction of this new power, It's kind of annoying that they create a cool power or skill to appear just once and then leave it aside, Sonic could inherit these things, even if he ended up with a weaker/optimized version It would be something cool to see it would also be a good way to bring back skills that have already appeared in previous games, Amy's Multi-Lock would be a good way to use Sonic's Light Speed Attack and also a good way to create new Skills for Sonic and other characters, well now that they already have the formula ready, concepts and mechanics to be polished and refined, fan feedback and good ideas in mind to explore and knowing what the fans want, along with more time and budget to work at will, they have even more chances of making the next games even better
Not gonna lie, those punches and kickes you mentioned remind me a lot of the final attack Luffy used against Crocodile from One Piece

I am the only one who felt bad for Supreme?
It trapped the End for eons, became its puppet and was clearly in pain through the fight, and unfortunately Sonic had to destroy it to destroy The End. Especially as we know of its pilot sacrificing itself to seal that moon to begin with.
It’s definitely tragic, but at least in the end it was destroyed so it could finally pass on with it’s mission fulfilled

Oh yeah. I definitely felt sorry for Supreme here. The End practically enslaved it's former vessel and tortured him. At least when Sage controlled him in the original finale, she didn't push him to the limit like The End. I can't help but wonder if Sonic was subconsciously putting him out of his misery along with saving the world from The End.

That always been a thing since omega. a few examples are omega, Emral, and the two dumb robot lackeys eggman has. as for the robot boss here. basically it was being control by a spirit of someone who gave their life to control it to protect the world from the end. If they end going this route of multiple super sonic boss fights in future ganes, we could see him using the powered up cyber enegery for future final bosses. But there's no way to tell right now.

Ma, this dlc really frustating at the start but get served with the best final boss and ending of all sonic game make it 10/10 for me, it really satisfying and rewarding

We see super Sonic losing rings and reverting in a canon cutscene. So does that mean Superforms relying on rings is now more than just a game mechanic but an actual part about how Super forms work in canon.
Likely not, it’s still an in battle cutscene, and it’s only to show that “Hey! You just lost rings btw, better finish it fast after this cutscene ends.”
@@mugenkage4965I kind of separate any kind of cutscene from gameplay as they’re actually scripted. Also it seemed convenient it happened the exact moment Sonic was momentarily knocked out of his superform.
I think it's more of a gameplay and cutscene situation, like for example: In the game Undertale, Asgore destroys the mercy button from your actions menu, forcing you to fight him.
